I just installed the IOS7 and it asked for security code. I put in my lock screen code and last 4 of my social but neither one worked. It disabled my phone and when I try to restore it I get a 3194 error.

You've not given us any details so all I can suggest is that you take your phone to a Nokia care point for inspection. They can tell you if it's a battery, charger or phone issue.

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. I would like to know if there is a better to fix this since this iphone has been jailbroken. Google search only shows stuff that talks about installing software that has to do with jailbreaking. I just need to restore back to normal. Thank you!

I have tried reinstalling the program to no avail.

Try deleting iAdCore.dll from within C:\Program Files\iTunes or C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes then running a repair of iTunes from within the Programs and Features Control Panel.
If that doesn't work see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. You may need to tear it all down and reinstall as described in the second box.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer or cloud service. Your contacts should be in whatever program/service you have chosen to sync.
If you have failed to do this, then they are likely gone.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
