TS3694 Update server not available?

iOS: Resolving update.
I got an Error 1602 message
When trying to resolve a got a nother message that stated:
Update server not available.
I have tried repeated times to reconnect but not go.
My 3GS phone will not restore when connecting to my itunes.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the 'Sign in or activation errors' link did not yield any help. I tried all of the suggestions with no luck. I found on another site that this COULD happen as a result of certain wireless issues. I WAS able to install AND activate the product with no problem. Registration went without problem. Just when I went to Help and Check for Updates that it puts up the 'Update Server Not Available'. Any other suggestions would really be appreciated. Thanks again.

Ive changed the DNS server on my pc, tried R,ec boot Tiny umbrella , had to use Total saver to recover my photos etc , but no idea how to change my iphone from a paperwight back into a phone, it just keeps saying the apple update server is unavailable.
Its a normal phone nothing done to it , was just updating the software when it went into recovery mode.
Ive pressed start and home buttons togerther , switched the phone off and on , switched the pc of and on and made sure i have the most recent version of itunes.
What next any ideas, thanks?

Actually I was stuck with this situation yesterday. Here is what I did to overcome this issue: I hope it helps.
To start with, here are few things to you should make sure of:
1- You have the latest version of iTunes. You may try to uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
2-Restart your Windows.
If still no luck, try editing the Hosts file, here is how;
1- click on RUN then copy and paste the following:
notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
2- look for gs.apple.com
3- if there are numbers infront of it just delete them or just type # before the numbers.
4- Save the file and try restoring again.
Note: you should have administror access to edit the Hostes file.
put your iphone in DFU mode before restoring.

Since several days I've been trying to update my Itunes and Iphone. This is not working. I get a message that the updateserver is not available and I have to try later and check the internet connection and turn my firewall off. Everything was and is okay and I still get the same message. No matter how many times I try.
Who knows how I can update my Itunes and Iphone?

The update servers are just down. Of course all the yuppies will say it's a user-side issue, but you can just ping the update servers and check for yourself.

Tried to update to IOS6 and now my ipad is trying to restore -- getting error "activation server not available" help! Have I lost all my video files?

I was trying to do a simple udate of the ios software. I connected to ITunes and the Ipad screen popped up saying there was an update available. I clicked on the update and it started updating and also there was a message saying it was backing up. But then I got a message to click here to complete the update -- with a restore. I did that and now my IPad is n ot woking at all -- I get the initial startup screen and a message that says "your ipad cannot be activated because the activation server is not available" I've tried connecting to itunes and get the same message -- server not available. The devices menu option is grayed out so I cant sync, backup,, restore nothing.... HELP! please! I only wanted to do a simple update -- now I think I've lost all my pictures and video files -- is there a way to get them back??

Try restarting everything and then try to sync or reactivate. Quit iTunes, reboot your computer, reboot your iPad and then try again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

'Profile Server Not Available' error when trying to access Profile Manager

Hello all,
I'm totally, totally new to OS X Server, but I have a class full of new iMac's and MacBook's that I want to be able to manage all in one go. Don't really mind about File Sharing, access from anywhere in the world etc. but I just want to be able to push updates to all of them at once as well as manage some default settings for them all.
I've set up most of what I can see I need to do in OS X Server such as the server itself as a .local, Profile Manager, Websites, VPN, Open Directory and Software Update, but when I try to access my .local through any browser, I get the main screen, but get an error page when I try to go into Profile Manager that says 'Profile Server Not Available. Please wait a moment and try again.'
Can anyone suggest where they think I might be going wrong or need to do? I can give more information or screenshots if needed, juts let me know. Any help super appreciated

Sorry, because I'm so new I don't quite get what you mean. A little more information is I'm using my MacBook which is connected to the same WiFi network as the other Mac's. What do you mean by the FQDN?
I'm able to type in the IP address etc. on any other of the Mac's and it loads the 'Welcome to OS X Server' page, it's just when I select Profile Manager, I get the error. Thanks for getting back though, appreciated the quick help.. and I'm still super stuck. I've got a whole day on it today ha.

ADR server not available

As a school district self servicing provider. I run an Apple Diagnostic server and have for some time. Now, I am getting a red band that tells me "ADR server not available". I have verified my login info is correct and allows me to login to the Apple credentials management site and this site. The log doesn't really show any errors. Is there something else I should look for ?

I realize this is an older thread, but I happened upon it when searching for an answer. I noticed that my MRI results weren't getting uploaded to Apple. I also had the giant red bar across the screen saying ADR Server Not Available.
My problem was that I had updated my password for GSX recently and had not put the new password into the settings of the dianostic Gateway. As soon as I updated the password I was able to authenticate and my problems dissapeared.

AST Gateway Manager Server not available

I have installed the latest AST (new install, not an upgrade) without any issues. The Gateway Manager, however, is unable to connect to the server. The ADR Server URL was pre-populated and is https://adr.apple.com/services/ws/capture. After entering in my information and clicking save, the Authentication Status goes from Authenticating to Server Not Available, and I get a giant red bar across the screen saying ADR Server Not Available.
The computer is running Mountain Lion Server with all of the latest patches. The machine is online. I can browse to any website I want. I can't figure out why it can't contact the ADR Server. Does anyone have any ideas?

HT201210 My download for iOS 7 was interrupted, it has downloaded but not installed. it goes through routine Terms & Agreements and everything, but when i try to update it tries to verify the update then says that the update is not available.

I dont understand, when i try to update it will go through routine apple stuff, then it it will say " Software Update Unavailable (under) Software Update is not available at this time. Try again later." The thing is that i was downloading it and my wi-fi had restarted for some unknown reason and it downloaded onto my phone but not installed. and at the moment it is really bothering me because I have waited a long time for iOS 7 and I am not being allowed to update my phone to it and i just wanted to know how to fix it. Thank you.

I imagine a ton of people are attempting to download it right now. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

This error message will appear erraneously, if you skipped the update to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1 and went straight from an earlier MacOS X version to Yosemite, without first updating to iPhoto 9.5.1 and associating iPhoto to your AppleID.
Try first to buy iPhoto with your AppleID instead of updating. Delete iPhoto from Applications, but don't empty the Trash, then go to the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto. If you are lucky, it will show as free and you can buy it directly.
If iPhoto is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support: Ask for a redemption code. You will need to provide a prove of purchase for your mac with iPhoto preinstalled.

Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken.

I can't update my iPhoto. "Update is not available for this Apple ID".

Updating my iPhoto has always been a problem. When I try, I get the error of: "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
This is the only apple ID I have ever owned, and now that I updated my Mac with the new software, I can't even OPEN iPhoto anymore. Now I can't view any of my photos and I am not a happy camper..

Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.

I purchased a new Mac Air. I try to update apps and I get this:This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled. They do not show up in 'Purchases'.

It appears Best Buy is up to their old tricks of palming off returned units as new. Take it back for a complete refund of your money. If they give you any static escalate your problem to management immediately.
