My iphone does not connect to my email provider and fetch my email.  I have been getting emall ok previously, this occurred when I changed my password on my email account. I have "set up a new account" but get the message "server is unavailable". I have tried several things but to no avail. Does anyone have the solution?

Did you ever fix this problem? The same thing happened when I just changed my kids passwords and now can't access their mail on their iPods or my iPad but I use the same email provider and mine is fine however I did not change my password.  If you fixed it how did you?

        DJTayLo, Let's get your voicemail working! I noticed you metioned that your Cellular Data is off. Visual Voicemail does need to be connected to Cellular Data in order to retreive voicemails for the iPhone. This can cause the notifications to be delayed. When you turn Cellular Data on do the notifications  then show correctly? Which model iPhone do you have? We'll figure this out.

  • Most of the time, when I try to load the home page, I get the message server not found - now I get this message and can't go anywhere

    I have dial up - once I connect to the internet, I get the message server not found and am unable to go anywhere on the internet. This started trying to load my banks online site and started about a week ago. I've tried freeing popup blocker, gone through the settings with a bank IT specialist, tried to us IE which has resulted in a request for a cable and now no access to any website.     A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.<br />
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

    i tried adding user macintosh hd/users/your_user/pictures/"photo booth"  but still photo booth is not working and even images in photo booth cant be deleted they keep coming back

    Back up all data.
    This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary.     Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

    the main consumer devices are within the specs, iM supports.
    using professional equipments makes usage of professional software (FCPX, AP) optional.

    I avidly use facetime DAILY and for about 3-4 days now, whenever I try and send or receive facetime request it hangs up immediately without ever picking up.     Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
    You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
    If that doesn't fix it then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. See if fixed. If not Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. See if fixed. If not then the WiFi chip or its connection to logic board are faulty and there is no fix.

    It appears your devices are experiencing audio issues. The following article provides steps which may help you find a solution:
    If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support
    Follow these steps and test the sound after each one.
    Go to Settings > Sounds and drag the Ringer And Alerts slider to turn the volume up.
    If you can hear sound from the speaker, then the speaker works. Continue with these steps to find the setting or switch that's affecting the sound. If you can't hear sound from the speaker, contact Apple Support.
    Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is set to ring. If you can see orange, it's set to silent.
    Restart your device.
    Open an app that has music or sound effects. Adjust the volume with the volume buttons or the slider in Control Center.
    Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn off Bluetooth.
    If there's still no sound, connect a headset. If you can hear sound through the headset, remove it and clear any dust or debris from the headset jack of your device.
    If the device is in a case, make sure that the case doesn't block the speaker.
    Use a brush to gently clear any debris from the speaker and Lightning connector (or 30-pin dock connector). The brush should be clean and dry and have soft bristles.
