Hmm, have you tried to raise the volume when Siri is activatied? (Hold home button down to activate S, then turn the volume up) Hope it helps!

My emails keep coming back after being deleted up to 5-6 times. Why do they keep coming back every time I open my mail? I have deleted my email account and added back and also changed settings. It still does it.

The support article also took me to "untrusted information"Sounds like you have a link hijacker installed which McAfee doesn't find for some strange reason. What I suggest you do is to go to [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Malwarebytes] and download the free version of the program. Then after you install it, update it via the link (tab) you'll see at the top and finally run a complete system scan.
It's possible McAfee didn't ask you to disable Windows System Restore. That Microsoft utility which is part of the operating system makes backups of all executables including malware unfortunately.
To be sure, I'd advise you to disable it temporarily by right clicking My Computer, then go to Properties and click the System Restore tab. Then place a checkmark in the box which says "Disable System Restore on all drives" and then click Apply/OK. This will delete all your Restore points, but it's the only way to remove malware which Windows is inadvertently making backups of.
It would be advisable to do that before you run a scan.
Once the Malwarebytes scan terminates and has quarantined anything it finds, you can re-enable System Restore again by removing the checkmark.

i dropped my ipad mini and the left side got dented .. so the volume buttons and the mute is not working anymore .... and when i am playing games the volume automatically goes up... i still have warranty .. so does apple replace a new one?

When I add an album to itunes and subsequently to my ipod, everything is arranged by track number of the album. Sometimes when I sync in order to add new material to my ipod, itunes for some reason automatically rearranges some of my pre-existing material by songs with the greatest number of plays to least (though sometimes it seems to be completely random). When I check itunes on my computer, everything still appears to be in order but the way it appears on the device often is in the previously mentioned disorder. Why does it do this? Is there any setting that I can adjust to make it stop because the only way I've found so far is to delete the rearranged material and re-import the cd and then re-sync. It might sound picky, but I prefer that my music be in order by track number as the artists themselves intended for various reasons the foremost being that I often listen to whole albums from start to finish and this glitch makes such problematic. I have found some settings in preferences that focus on how material is arranged but this seemed to be focused on the actual folders where the music is located on my hard drive and not the way it appears on the ipod. If anyone knows the reason it does this or has suggestions on fixing it, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.
Did the original songs that do not appear on the car player play in the Music app on the iPod? Sometimes glitches happen and they do not. Also, If y ohave a 5G iPod/iOS 7, purchase songs will show with an cloud icon by them if they are not downloaded if Shall All is turned on in Settings>iTunes and App Store

I have 4 devices on my iTunes account which all have different names or ID's. An iPad 2 which I just got at Xmas, my iPhone 4S, my wifes iPhone 4 and my daughters iPod. I always hook up to iTunes via a cable/dock when syncing them all separetly. Since buying the iPad 2 every app that I have downloaded on it seems to be going over onto my iPhone 4S when I next sync it after I have synced the iPad 2 to iTunes??? I do not want anything that is on the iPad 2 automatically going onto my phone the next time I sync. How do I stop this happening?

Thanks in advance!On the iPhone, go into Settings -> Store and turn off "Automatic Downloads" for Apps (and Music and Books, if you wish). You can also do that on the iPad to prevent it from going in the opposite direction.
That will stop any automatic downloading... to prevent them from coming over when using iTunes, select the phone (under Devices), Apps, and then uncheck "Automatically sync new apps." Again, do the same for the iPad if you wish. -
Can anybody say why In the layer menu, the background color is white when opening a layer mask, and why does it automatically turns black by simply opening the layer mask properties menu? The vector mask is white anyway.

Hello.
Looking for help on how to get a better signal when receiving and placing calls. Phone got a little wet and is having hard time placing calls and receiving call. Calls are breaking up most of the time but some times I have 4 bars and phone calls goes through just fine. Noticed phone is having troubling connecting to towers. Get a call but caller can not hear me when I have only one bar showing on phone. Phone does hit 4 bars sometime and phone call is clear. Any suggestion., new phone still learning how to use. Should I try to reset to factory settings??? Have read lot of negative comments on the web about doing this. Trying all options before going to the Apple store.
Thanks for any help or advice.I ended up getting a new phone, straight through Apple. I called their technical support and went through all he basics again and they decided to replace it. Was a pretty quick process - after defaulting and resetting the whole phone (about 2 hours), I called them back to inform that there was no change, so they set up the order.
I had to give my CC# so they could hold a charge on it (in case I didn't send my old phone bach, which they sent me a pre-posted package to send it in anyway). Had a brand new iPhone 4S in my hands in 4 days, which was pretty decent. I had uploaded everything previously to iCloud, so setting up the new phone was a snap.
Only thing I really didn't like was they charged me almost 30 bucks for shipping or processing, or something. Not so sure that should have been my responsibility after spending so much on a brand new product, only to have to have it warrantied after, like, a month. -

But I don't have enough free space on my external hard drive to do this because my external hard drive already contains one complete backup. My hard disc on my MacBook is 320 and my external drive is 500 GB, so it doesn't add up. I don't want to delete the original backup in case something goes wrong during the new full backup. What can I do?You don't have too many options. The best approach would be to buy a larger external drive. The guideline for Time Machine is that you should have 2-3 times as much capacity on the external drive as data you're backing up. See item 1 of Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. In any case, you can't prevent that first full backup unless you're willing to turn off Time Machine permanently.

Iphone 5s - siri can not hear me
I Have troubles with Siri and the keyboard microphone. Siri can not hear me and it is not possible to dictate any text via the keyboard. Both functions are working fine when I use a external headphone with microphone. The voice memo app is working correctly, so I don't think it is a hardware problem. I checked all siri settings and they seem okay. Voice feedback is not on handsfree but on always. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? I have the feeling the iPhone isfor these functions expecting audio input from annexternal source in stead of the build in microphones. Does anybody have an idea to solve this problem?
Well, that's a new comman issue comes up with IOS 8.3 version. Before 8.3 IOS version Siri were only available in some languages, however, after 8.3 release many languages are supported.
Even if you enable Siri > General > Settings.. still respond your voice.
No need to try to troubleshooting device - it will not solve your problem. You have to restore your iPhone and then setup as a new device. That's solution.
May I ask you to tell me if you siri in English ? -
In iTunes I'm having problems changing the "Media Kind" in the OPTIONS menu from "Music" to "Audiobook". After going through the steps, the next time I check, the items have reverted back to "Music". What must I do to save it as an "Audiobook"?
After more digging in the Support section here and some Google work, I turned off iTunes Match and lo and behold! I can change the media kind to Audiobook! So, it looks like iTunes Match locked the files up somehow and for some reason.
I went into iTunes Store > iTunes Match > "No, Thanks" to disable it on the local PC. -
Sometimes after creating an event folder on iPhoto, all my pictures in that event will be gone the next time I open iPhoto. Why is this happening? Is there a way to retrieve the missing photos?
Most events I make on iphoto will still be there the next time I open iPhoto, while other event FOLDERS will be there, but pictures in it gone.What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

With v3 I regularly had 5 tabs open all the time and could save these on exit so that they opened automatically the next time without me having to click individually on each one via bookmarks. V4 does not appear to allow this as a default and I cant find an option to allow it to happen. Please advise

Its seems that for many people, this feature was not enabled automatically, instead it is set on a different setting of 'show my homepage' or 'show a blank page'. But it is very easy to change, I just did it myself! Here is how to do it:
At the top left of the screen is an orange 'Firefox' box, click on it. On the right of the dropdown menu you will see 'Options'. Click on it. Then you will see another 'Options', click on it. This will bring up the Options menu.
The part we are interested in for this fix is where it says, 'When FireFox starts:'. There is a dropdown selection next to that sentance, click on the little down-arrow, and choose ' Show my windows and tabs from last time'. Then click on 'OK' at the bottom of the Options menu, this will close the menu.
You should be sorted now, I was. I hope it works for you too. To test it out, have a few tabs open, and close firefox. Then try open it. Those same tabs should re-appear. Holding thumbs & fingers crossed :) -

I have Iphone 6 and sometimes like once a month, when i make a phone call, the person can not hear me.
WWe have tried the soft reset. As of now it only does it to one other phone number I call. The number is my husbands who is on Same plan. We thought maybe it was just something with the iPhone 6. The phones are only 3 months old.
