TV episodes from Mac to iCloud ??

Good morning. I would like to store all the many episodes of the TV shows I bought on iTunes (not the links to download them again but the actual episodes' files). How do you do it from your mac to icloud? Is it possible? I see nothing at fiest glance on iTunes on the mac that allows me to do this. I also want to send all the music I bought on iTunes from the mac to iCloud (not from my iPad or my iPhone as it would take many many hours based on what the devices undicate). Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
iCloud for TV shows and music, is intended to allow you to download your purchases as and when you want from whatever device you want, it isn't intended to place all of your content on every device.

How did you do that?  According to Apple, the system requirements for iCloud is OS X Lion 10.7.2 or later.  You posted in the Snow Leopard forums and your system info is showing "Mac OS X (10.6.8)"

  • HT2623 transfer apps rights from @mac to @icloud

Is it possible to transfer app bought from @mac.com to @icloud.com? (Now, I need authorise the computer for old accounts when upgrade apps bought long ago.)

    No, apps cannot be transferred.
But if the part before the @ of the accounts you want to transfer apps between is the same, then they are the same account, and no transferring is necessary. You can use your [email protected] or [email protected] AppleID interchangeably.

  • How can I move my photos from Mac to iCloud?

I want use my iCloud account but I don't know how can I leave my files in iCloud. I use a MacBook pro and I need leave some pictures just in iCloud...and take off from my Mac.

iCloud is not a photo storage service and Photo Stream is a tool to share photos rather than to back them up. For the most part iCloud is about sharing your data between devices. It does have some back up features such as storing your iOS devices back up but most media should be propperly backed up using your computer's back up routines.
In iPhoto you can send a copy of a photo to your Photo Stream by selecting it and clicking the "Share" button. Photo Stream has a 1000 photo limit and will only store them for 30 days. I have not come close to the 1000 photo limit nor have any of my photos been deleted after 30 days, but I still wouldn't use it for a back up.

  • Bandwidth problems with uploading photos from Mac to iCloud??

We do not have blisteringly fast DSL & I am getting zero photos uploading from my Mac to the iCloud Photos.   Anyone else encountered this???  I am hoping I can tag on to a faster WiFi at some point to see if that helps .... Current on all OS & iOS's.....

I am using a n'bor's (faster, though only in the 10mg or so range) WiFi
    What is a " n'bor' " ?

  • HT201342 I have not been able to upgrade to a new computer. So I am running an old OS 10.5.8 in a Powerbook Pro 15¨. I recently have had some e-mail problems. I would like to know if this is related with all transitional process from @mac to @icloud.

I have just starting having problems with my @mac.com account because I still have an old computer. Un fortunatelly so many years this is my main account and no option to send e-mail are possible.
Is this related with the transitional process from moving to an @icloud.com account?
    regards

First of all, your profile says you are using OSX 10.5.8 which is incompatible wth all features of icloud, although users have been able to use icloud's email with older versions.  With the transition to @icloud.com accounts, it's difficult to say what the effect is regarding older versions of OSX.  I've read posts by others who are still using these versions and have now been having problems with emails.
iCloud mail is a standard Imap account, any version of OSX (or Windows) with an Imap compatible mail client can use it.

  • Transfer from Mac to iCloud does not work

    Hello,
I failed to transfer any data from my Mac (OS X 7.3) to the iCloud. I use Microsoft Outlook (Calendar, Mail and Contacts). The Calendar and the Contacts are mirrored to the local iCal and address book. However, nothong gets synchronized to iCloud. ICal and address book are empty (exept for the Apple and my address). I would need to transfer these data to an iPad and iPhone I'm planning to buy.
I also cannot transfer any other data (including photos) to the iCloud. Only "Search my Mac" works.
    What am i doing wrong?
MobileMe also does not work, I cannot log in with my vaild Apple ID. Since this will shut down sooon I'm not concerned but maybe these things are connected?
    Regards,
    Axel

Microsoft Outlook is not compatible with iCloud as Microsoft have not yet added support for the industry standard CalDAV and CardDAV protocols that iCloud and other similar services uses.

  • ICloud sync: Contacts are not syncing from Mac to iCloud, other services OK.

Notes and calendar data are syncing fine. Syncing between iPhone and iCloud on all 3 appears to work fine. I have toggled syncing through the control panel; did not help.

Go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, restart your Mac, then go back and sign back in.  (This deletes the account and iCloud data from your Mac, but not from iCloud.  Your data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

  • Syncing contacts from mac to icloud

I've got all my contacts on my MacBook. However, iCloud only shows a single contact. I want to upload my copntacts from my MacBook to iCloud. Why is this so hard?

First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

  • Updated contacts do not sync from Mac to iCloud

Updating or adding contacts in my Mac addressbook are not synced to the cloud. But if I make changes in my contacts on my iPhone or iPad, sync works perfectly and updates are reflected in my Mac addressbook. I'm running Lions on a MBP.
    Any hints much appreciated.

  • How can I move calendar from mac to iCloud

I am trying to move my calenders that are on my Mac to the cloud so that they will appear on my phone and ipad. How do I do this?

First, iCloud requires OS X 10.7.2 or later, so open  > About this Mac, and check that you are using a newer version. Then, open System Preferences > iCloud and tick Calendars, so they will be moved to iCloud and they will be synced to the iPad and iPhone

  • Mail disappearing from Mac Mail - iCloud

There has been a fair few people with the same problem. I have reset my Apple Id password and this seems to have solved the problem.

smart mailboxes are not actual mailboxes. they are saved searches. if something disappears from it it means that the original was deleted from whatever mailbox it was sitting in. For example, it could be that those messages were in trash and you have your trash emptied periodically.
