Two button dialog have to press no twice

I put a 2 button dialog in an event structure. When my stop button is pressed the value changes, it enters the event structure and a two button dialog pops up that says do you really want to quit? If yes is pressed the program ends. If no is pressed the dialog box stays open. If its pressed again, then the program continues running. Essentially it does what i need it to do, keeps the program running if no is pressed but its a bit annoying to always have to click it twice. Any way to fix this?

Is it possible that you may have 2 instances of this dialog in the block diagram, one on top of the other, so you can't see there's 2 of them there? Try moving the VI icon. If not, please post your code, as it may be a race condition.

Change color and font in two button dialog box

The two button dialog is boring.
I need to change the font (larger), the background color, the button color, and hilite the important part of the message.
Ex: is this color RED ? I'd like to see RED is red.

I think it will be better if you create your own dialog window. Create a vi with all the features you want the dialog window to perform. Edit the connectors of the vi so they return what you want to retrieve (Right-click the upper right icon in the fron panel of the vi and select "Show Connectors"). Then, edit the configuration of your vi so it behave like a dialog box (Right-click the upper right icon again and select "VI Setup..."). Finally, add your vi to your main application vi.

IPad Mini with Retina Display's Volume Down button sticks, have to press really hard to make it unstick and then decrease volume level. Anyone else seeing this issue?

When trying to press the physical down volume button on my iPad mini with Retina Display, it sticks making you have to press really hard before it unsticks then allows you to decrease the volume level. Not sure if this is a common issue and not sure if its worth a genius appointment but it does seem to be getting worse. Anyone having this issue or know a fix? Thanks

Thanks for letting me know, I will have AppleCare arrange a replacement rather than getting a new retail box. I find the replacements are usually better quality when it is a new product. The AppleCare team said they wouldn't be sending a refurbished/repaired handset this early which gives me some confidence.
My home button does feel different and definatley sounds different but from what people have said this is normal. Someone posted a video of their and it was the same as mine so I'm not concerned.

Replace button dialog

I am trying to use the Find feature to locate all one button and two button dialog boxes in my VI so that I can replace them with my own message VIs.
This is a large application with many sub VIs as well.
I am having no luck finding them programatically and have to search manually.
Does anyone know of a way to find them?

I have to press the button anywhere from 4-10 times and then it usually flashes on and back off. It is very, very frustrating. The other issue is that the battery drains very quickly. I have called Verizon numerous times regarding these issues. They tell me to do different things that never help. We eventually did a factory reset and it still has the same issues. Help! It is a brand new phone and unfortunately I am in a new two year contract. Ugh. Is there anyone out there who can help me?

I have done that several times. In fact, every time I call Verizon with my phone problems, they have me do the same things repeatedly. I keep telling them I have already done them but they insist they are SURE it will work this time. It never does. After doing the factory reset and it still not working correctly, they act like they are confused, almost like I am lying. I did what you suggested above on the slim chance it would work this time but it did not. I bought two S5's that day and the other one works perfectly fine. I know I got a bad phone. You need to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 at the very least in order to sync your iPad with iTunes so you could update your Mac, if it can be updated, and if you care to do so.
If that's not an option, you will have to find someone that can restore the device for you with their computer running iTunes or make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask them to restore the device for you.
I hope that you have an iCloud backup, because you will lose everything on the device when it is restored.

Also, I would not give up on the reset technique....holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. It takes about 10-15 seconds and sometimes just a little longer to get the logo to appear.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Turn the Phone Off... ( if it isn’t already )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... (But can take Longer...)

Hi people. Im authoring a dvd with lots of layered menus. I had first made the menus so that every button had its own layer when it was being navigated. But there came a problem when navigating the dvd with the mouse, the overlays (layers) would not work, but using the remote would. So I changed from layers to a single pict overlay file, and also some layers, so that for instance when one is resting upon a button, it will be highlit but there would also be a picture displayed next to it (a separate layer). Am I being clear? (this is difficult for my english).
So the problem now, is that overlays work, but a button has to be pressed twice in order for it to be activated.
This is in dvd sp 4.
If anybody has had this experience or know what Im doing wrong, I would love to read it.

There are two types of still menus you can use in DVDSP, and both are "supported" by the dvd spec. The first type is a simple highlight overlay (and really is the preferred way of creating a menu). The advantages are that the menu responds quickly and generally in a way that the typical user would expect them to (mouse over results in highlighting, and one click navigates to the object).
The second type, and the type you are using, are layered menus. Basically what DVDSP is doing is making an identical menu (with the exception of the changed content, like your button) for each state. One needs to click on it once to select it (and tell the dvd player to go to the menu with the change in the button appearance/associated image/etc) and click a second time to navigate to the object. You can have 'highlights' just like you would with the menus I described above, but in this instance the highlight appears but it still requires you to click twice. These kinds of menus are often confusing for the viewer, because they don't behave like what most are familiar with. They also can be quite sluggish in performance, and can behave very slowly on some set top players. For the most part (although the graphics can definitely look much better), I think they are best avoided.

Show indices of Last TWO buttons pressed in a boolean array (how to?)

How would you go about showing the indices of the last TWO buttons pressed in an array of buttons, and only after TWO buttons have been pressed? I know how to show the LAST button pressed, and I know how to flag the event of two buttons being pressed (using the modulus), but I can't readily see how to show the indices of the last TWO.
For example, in an array of 24 buttons, someone presses buttons 2 and 7... an indicator says 2 & 7. Those buttons remain pressed. Now the user presses buttons 14 and 3, the same indicator now reads 14 & 3.
The indicator can be text, an int array, two ints, whatever. Any ideas?

To get the LAST button pressed, I just XOR the array and look for the True, as shown. No biggie.
Yep, I know about the ability to expand the left side S/R to get a histogram, and have used that in the past. It doesn't seem to do anything for me here!

1. The most efficient way to charge an iPad is with the charger that came with the iPad and having that plugged into a wall outlet. Trying to charge while connected to a laptop often doesn't work because the USB port may not provide enough power.
2. Once an iPad battery has completely drained it may take an hour or more on the wall charger before the iPad responds. So after an hour on the charger reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
3. If the iPad still does not start up make an appt at the Apple store. It will be far better if you have an appointment rather than just walking in because those with appointments will be taken care of before you are.

The first thing to suspect is a completely drained battery. When this happens the iPad shuts down and will not turn on. Two buttons pressing

I know some Java and I have to make a program that will press two buttons like this:
If i press the button START it will
1. Wait 5000 milliseconds
2. Press F5
3. Wait 100 milliseconds
4. Press Enter
5. Wait 2000 milliseconds
and then over and over again from step 2, until i press the button STOP
I don't think that it will work in applet, because when you minimize applet, it stops working. Am I right?
So I will have to use the standard Java. Right?

Then you should try restoring the iOS software next. Read this and pay attention to the last part of the article that describes recovery mode, you may have to restore your iPad that way.
