    Hello All,
I am looking on the difference between type 2 n connector and type n connector?
is the 1552H outdoor access point need special fitting for the AIR-ANT5114P2M-N antenna?

Your antenna is 2-Port Directional antenna with N-type connectors. It has two ports, but uses standard connector type (N Male). Don't worry!

  • What type of connectors needed for optical audio out?

Hi, looking at upgrading to an imac and I noticed on the spec it has optical audio out which would be great to go into my audio interface. What connector do I need? Is it TOSLINK type?
Had a look at the picture of the rear but couldn't see an optical out port, only the jacks for analogue. Where does the optical come out!?
    Thanks!

If you want to connect the iMac to something that has Toslink then you would need a cable similar to this:

I use one myself, they work fine.

  • What type of connectors are used with MXI-4 cables?

I have two MXI-4 cards (PXI-8331). One in each of the two PXI chassis that I have in the lab
I also have three MXI-4 copper 190957A-03 cables and would like to connect the cables together using connectors (preferably two mini DB9 Fem/DB9 Fem gender changing connectors or something simular)
Again the goal, in the first PXI to have One PXI-8331 that connects to a MXI-4 cable which will connect to a mini Fem DB9 connector Which connects to the second MXI-4 cable which then connects to the second mini Fem DB9 connector that will now connect to the third MXI-4 cable which will now connect to the second PXI-8331 in the second PXI.
Again one long line between the two PXI-8331 slots using three cables. If these two DB9 connectors cannot be used what do you recommend?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Solved, I called NI support and was told the 'bulkhead  connector' idea of mine wouldn't work. The high freq traveling across the Fibre Channel cable would cause conflicts with the DB9 Fem/Fem connections I planned to use.
Solution, find two MXI-4 cables where one end was male the other female. Then use the third cable (male on both ends) to interconnect the two. NI doesn't have these MXI-4 FC (DB9 M/DB9 F) cables but I found them elsewhere.
    Thanks for the help...

  • With the new MacBook having only a USB Type C connector, does that mean Thunderbolt is already antiquated?

What are people's thoughts on this?
With only one port. We went from one USB port on the first MBA, to two, and now we are down to one port, period. Not even a headphone jack! And now the user must carry around an adapter. What's the point of a beautiful laptop if you have an octopus of adapters hanging out of its single port?

  • How can I determine the type of video out connector I need?

    Howdy,
I have a white macbook purchased Jun/2008. I want to connect to a TV but don't know what adapter I need. How can I determine the type of video out jack my macbook has?
System Profiler says the model identifier is "MacBook 4,1". Under Graphics/Displays the only thing it says about the "Display Connector" is that no display is connected. Too bad it doesn't tell me what type of connector it is. If I knew the name of the connector I'd probably be home free. But it seems like every macbook model has a different video connector (since the state of the art has advanced over the years) and I haven't been able to keep up with the names.
Now, I have a 6" long adapter that will convert this connector to VGA. And searching the Apple store for VGA adapters, the existence of mine says my connector is might be one of "Mini DisplayPort", "Apple Mini DVI", "Apple DVI", or "Apple Micro-DVI". But then there is also the connector at
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/M8639G/A?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY
and that looks like the one I have. But unlike the other adapters, this one is just called a "VGA Display Adapter". Does the connector have a name? How can I find adapters that have that same connector?
I know I could use the adapter I have, plus a VGA to VGA cable, to hook up to a TV. But the quality of the VGA signal is poor in the digital world. My goal is to hook up to the TV via HDMI. Is this even possible? By which I mean, will my macbook generate the signals necessary to be able to be converted to HDMI?
    Thanks for any help,
    Zebulon T

    Thanks, Ded,
You're right, the cable that I have won't work. I't from my previous, 2004 iBook. This is pretty embarrassing... I looked at the cable but didn't bother to try plugging it in.
Looking at the close-up picture of the Mini-DVI to VGA adapter, that does look like the right connector. So I have Mini-DVI, and the other apter you pointed to can convert this to DVI. I'll take a look to see what makes the most sense, connector wise, downstream from that.
    Thanks very much.

  • CUP Connector type SAP EP LDAP

    Hi Experts,
I noticed the connector type SAP EP LDAP the other day when setting up some new ABAP connectors.  Does anyone know what this type of connector is used for?  I couldn't find any documentation on it.

    Hi Christopher,
this is what I got told - I'm not sure whether this made it into the doco yet:
"  SAPEP  LDAP is used for LDAP Group provisioning. It will have 2 LDAP connectors mapped.  Internal and External.  In CUP you can import the  groups form these two ldaps and provision them using Access Request. "
    Cheers,

  • What connector should I use??

I have Imovie on my Ibook, but I don't know what type of connector should I use to download a personal clip. And how should I configure this device, somebody please let me know what I need to buy to download, edit and burn my movies. Thanks.

    Welcome to iMovie Discussions.
Some people shoot short movies with a digital stills camera, like a Sony Cybershot. (..These cameras can record a short movie onto a chip in the camera..)
You can connect these cameras to your Mac with a USB cable, and then manually copy a movie to your Mac, or the latest version of iPhoto should automatically copy movies from a stills camera, too.
These movies (..avi movies or .mpg movies..) may play OK using QuickTime player, but may not be playable - or editable - in iMovie, unless you convert them to a suitable system for iMovie, using a program like MPEG Streamclip.
Some proper video camcorders are not quite compatible with iMovie ..things like the 'Everio' camcorders which record onto an internal hard disc, or like camcorders which record onto a small internal DVD. Video from these will also need to be converted with 'Streamclip' or 'Handbrake'. The same applies to video recorded onto "microMV" tapes.
As Scalzmoney says, iMovie works just with "miniDV" and "Digital-8" tapes, and those camcorders need to be connected to a Mac, and iMovie, using a 4-pin-to-6-pin FireWire cable, also called a DV cable or an "i.Link" cable.

  • Need external antenna connector for old Nokia 5110...

Hi all, this is a long shot I admit, but doesn anyone know what type of connector (and where to purchase) was used on the old 5110/6110 Nokia phones, it is the external connector located on the rear behind the rubber grommit use for the car kits... I need some of those connectors.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi omega1
I should be able to help you.
If you want to connect your 6110/6150/7110 to an external connector, we have a adaptor lead to do just this.
Plugs into rear antenna socket with short lead to fme plug - then you can connect your antenna cable to this.
Let me know how many you need.

  • RTA, JCo & Connectors

    Hello All,
What is the difference between a JCO, RTA and a connector (in RAR config TAB). Please do let me know the same with relevance to the following scenario:
I have two SAP Development systems, whom I need to connect to one GRC DEV system (with RAR and CUP). In this case, what will be the RTAs, JCOs and connector (in RAR config TAB).
I am facing a lot of issues understanding this is I am a non-basis person but usually encounter these terms while doing the SAP GRC implementation as a security consultant. Kindly help me knowing these a bit better.
    Tx.
    Amitra

    Hello Sunny,
Thanks for answering. It clears a lot now. Can you please confirm based on the reply you just sent, if my assumptions to the scenario as under are are correct:
*Scenario:* i have 2 SAP systems, say DE1 and DE2, which are development systems, with no HR installed on either.
    *ASSUMPTIONS:*
Now, if I need to connect both of them to my GRC server, I would:
    1. Install VirsaNH on both DE1 & DE2, which are the backend systems.
    2. Create 2 JCO connections - one each for DE1 & DE2. These JCOs will be created from RAR tool. These two JCOs are in itself, a type of connectors.
Are the assumptions based on point 1 & 2 mentioned above correct?
    Tx.
    Amitra.
