I upgraded to 8.1 yesterday. Now Whatsapp does not work. It just says 'not connected or 'connecting', but that is all.

Assuming you are using the current version of iTunes (11,2,2), open iTunes, click "Preferences" under the leftmost entry on iTunes' menu, then choose "Devices".
Find the iPhone's backup there, highlight it, and choose "Delete Backup". -
When I changed my Apple ID the ID did not change on my iCloud account. there appears to be no way to change the ID because I cannot get into account settings for iCloud
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I have a 80gb ipod classic and i cannot get it to sync anymore since I updated my itunes. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do?
Does the device show up in Windows Explorer when connected?
Have you tried going into Control Panel > Programs & Features > iTunes > Repair?
Have you proved the cable with a different device, or the device's connectivity with a different computer?

When I enter the 4 digit number it then says to me wxyz and then nothingVoice activation? You mean VoiceOver. Unless you remember going into Settings and enabling it, you must have set a triple-tap shortcut for VoiceOver. Try tapping the home button three times (quickly but not too quickly). If that doesn't resolve the problem, you will have to takie things slow and listen to VoiceOver to unlock the phone. You tap the first digit of your code, then tap it again, then tap the second digit, wait, and tap it again, and so on. Press the home button if you are in an app and slowly swipe your way to the Settings app. Tap the app, wait for it to speak, and tap it again, tap General in the same manner, then scroll down to accessiblility (which will probably require two finger to scroll (scroll in increments), then tap VoiceOver, and then turn VoiceOver off with the switch by tapping the switch, waiting, and tapping it again.

Reporting a problem from my bill just gets me sent around in circles. This has happened before last month, and seems to be linked with the upgrade to iOS 6.0.1. as problems started immediately after the upgrade. My subscription just seems to lock itself out even though it is still current and on auto renewal. Tried all the usual tricks.
All I am getting from iTunes is an automatic reply.
This has been going on since September and the iOS 6.0.1 update. I have been bumped from Times of London to iTunes and back each saying it is the others problem. iTunes is the final auto response after their several suggestions is to go to the creator of the app which does seem to make sense.
It is a bizarre problem. All is okay for about three weeks then I am not allowed into my downloaded copy. If I try to go into a page on the paper which at that point I can see, I get bumped out with a message that a subscription is not available. The app has been re-downloaded (several times from iTunes Canada).
Nothing seems to work. I didn't have a problem with my subscription previously. Have had the paper for several months with no problems.
I have tried to get this message to those who might be able to do something but come up against a brick wall of automated responses. -
what else do I need to do to open Adobe Photoshop Elements 13? I've followed all the instructions except subscribing to cloud. I am on a new computer and have moved Photoshop Elements 10 from the old computer. I purchased the upgrade, downloaded, installed and extracted, but it still doesn't show up as a program in my files. please help!
Hi,
If you go to that link I gave you before and expand the Photoshop Elements 13 part, you should see two downloads for Windows - 32-bit and a 64-bit. Make sure that you download the correct one for your system. Once it is downloaded, just double click on it to start the extraction.
Be patient as it sometimes looks as though it is not doing anything but is actually working in the background. May take a minute or two but it seems longer.

Have just loaded iOS7 and now I cannot send or receive mail . Device message is : cannot open mail cannot connect with server. Any ideas?
Had the same problem. Deleted my account and readded it...still didn't work. Had a call with Apple, and they couldn't figure out why the Exchange server wouldn't work. They had me set up mail through Gmail, and that finally worked. There must be a bug they need to fix for the Exchange Server.

HOw do I remove a corrupt game app from my McBook Pro. As soon as I reboot the app appears preventing me from doing anything. Also the game does not open it is just the main screen of the game.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
What I would recommend in this situation would be trying to Force Quit the application. I know that you said the application opens as soon as the computer display comes on and you cannot access anything else. You can use the key command Command-Option-Escape to bring up the force quit menu and quit the game causing the issue. Please use the following article for more information.

Cannot get into settings to backup
I cannot get into mt settings area. I need to backup. It just flashes to blank screen then goes right back to home screen.
Double tap your home button to bring up the recently used apps. You'll see an app icon below and a page view above. Swipe the page view upwards with your finger to close your apps fully. Then tap the home button once and you'll be back to your home screen. Try to open settings now.

I am stuck on a message Password Incorrect for Exchange (my work email). My Wi Fi password has been reset and it is trying to auto connect. I cannot get to General Settings to change the Wi Fi setting. Also stuck on FB app sitting behind the message. When I dbl clk Home there are no apps listed.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
After the iPad starts up completely maybe then the apps will appear in the task bar and you can close them or maybe you will be able to back out of the apps after the reboot.
You can also try force quitting the mail app.
Force quit the app by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears. Let go of the sleep button and then hold down on the home button until the app quits. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
I cannot get into the iTunes store. I keep getting error message 0x80092013
I have spent hours trying to get into the iTunes store without success. Error message 0X80092013 keeps appearing. Someone has suggested maybe a driver is missing. Please help if you can. (I can get into the store using my laptop. I cannot get into it from my desktop.) I'm using Windows Vista.

I am in my iTunes application and when I press the link to connect to the iTunes Store, it starts churning, and churning, but never connects. It has churned for hours and when I finally click the "X" to close it, I get error code 11222.

I ordered an iPhone 5s in early September from the orange shop in Chamonix Mont-Blanc France.
I needed a new phone as i dropped my iPhone and broke it so it thought i would upgrade.
I was asked in the shop if I wanted a black or white one, I asked for a Black one, as all my iPhones have all been Black as I DON'T LIKE White ones. (sorry)
I was told my phone would arrive in a week so I waited with broken phone for new one. The following week I was told it would be the following week, the following week i was told the same but the assistant in the shop told me they would ring me when it arrived. Three days later i recieved a text from the shop to say the phone would be in tomorrow, when I went in they said it had not arrived and they would call me when it was in the shop.
They called me on Thursday the 17th of October to say the phone was in the shop.
I arrived at the shop at 6:00pm after my work, the shop closes at 7:00pm. I recieved the phone, signed for it and extra unwanted insurance with I was told I could only canceled in a month. I was then told they didn't have any sim cards in the shop, i said no problem the Phone i assume will need charging so i will take it home and charge it and return for the sim tomorrow.
So the Phone remained boxed.
When I returned home and opened the box I realised it was a white one, I replaced the lid put it back in the bag, and returned it to the shop first thing Friday 18th October, to point out the error, only to be told "to bad" ?? I was told I could have changed it the night before but not this morning? They said I had ordered a Black one but as I had signed for a White one nothing can be done. I was angry and left the shop. I returned later the same day with a French friend to try and resolve this problem, as I wasn't sure if something was being lost in translation. I didn't think I was being unreasonable, it is a very expensive piece of equipment and this wasn't what i wanted. They told my friend that the phone was not available in Black, that was the 5, and that the 5s was only available in silver and gold, and that mine was a silver one.
I then thought it was my mistake as it was a new phone. She put a sim in the phone put it in the box and I left for a business meeting only to arrive and see a Black iPhone 5s sitting on the table??
So I then returned back to the shop with the Black one and mine still all boxed and untouched to prove they had blatantly lied to me an hour ago, only to be told that there was nothing they were prepared to do.

A minor point, but it may avoid a little confusion if, instead of saying "black" in reference to the iPhone 5s, say "space gray":

Installed a new SSD as my other blew it's age. I have no back-up and need to format the new one. I go in and either partition or erase and get and error message. Please help.
