    </mx:Panel>
</mx:Application>
as per code... its showing graph as
If u notice the chart in each series, as there no proper data.. its showing that empty gap as per the order of column series created..
In array collection, in each object we are missing some value.
Any idea ow to remove this gap.. How to remove those empty spaces....
Thanks & Regards

Hi ramesh,
check out my edited version of Chandrashekhar Mahajan's fiddle
http://jsbin.com/jetoz/1/edit
Chandra was trying to create a new Dialog everytime which i've modified & chart inside a popup is a known issue which has been mentioned by SAP UI5 in Notes section. You can do a workaround by manually rerender() or setTimeout()

Please reply me as soon as possible.Waiting for reply. Thanks in advance.
    Type: Column Chart

    Additional information

u2022     All values in Black, but adverse to be shown below the bar.

    Hi,
This type of question is almost impossible to answer over a forum .
You need to work with your business to understand what these requirements mean in terms of data modelling and relationships between object entities.
    - Some of these metrics should be delegated to source, and calculated in the update routines to your datatargets (aka Cubes/Tables)
    - Others could be resolved in the semantic layer (Universe)
    - Other will be calculated in the presentation layer as local formulae or variables.
whilst BusinessObjects is a fairly intuitive tool, it may be unreasonble to expect a new learner to deliver an advanced report with conditional formatting.

  • Issues with Custom Chart

    Hi,
I am facing some issues with custom charts.
    1. X Axis value is getting cut off. Given date as x axis parameter and last 2 digits of date is getting cut off. (format like 19-Apr-2011T00:00:00). And this value cut of happening only for custom chart.
    2. On right click of the custom chart, when i am selecting Preview, it opens a new pop up window with and error as Error: "Application error occurred during the request processing.". No preview is being generated.
    3. In Server Scaling, i checked Use global auto scaling, and many times it is showing improper y axis or mutiple y axis values with the same value or it is displaying improper global range
    kindly help
    Regards
    Muzammil

    Muzammil,
Without seeing your data and your chart configuration, it is difficult to understand exactly the issues you are encountering.  I have the same JRE and the same version and build of MII as you.  I have no difficulty with the scaling or with Global Range, but problems displaying the date in my tests.
I would suggest the you enter a ticket into the SAP Support System, and enclose a  copy of your data (run the query, use Browser with Content Type = text/xml) and export a copy of you display template.
Lastly, what type of query are you using - sql, tag?
    Kind Regards,

  • Issues with Line Chart

    APEX 4
    Anychart 5
If I create a new chart region, specify a 2D Line chart, and format my query everything seems to work well. If I add a new data series the chart becomes a 2D Column Chart. I simply want two lines graphed. Once the chart is displayed as a column chart, I cannot get it to display as a Line again unless I delete the object and reconstruct it. I have tried changing it to a 2D column, 2D bar, 3d bar, etc and then change it back to a 2D Line chart and it will only display as a column chart. Anybody else seen this behavior? Anybody got an explination?

    Hi Austin,
The default setting of the "Series Type" value to correspond with the selected Chart Type, in your case a Line chart, has been resolved as part of a fix for bug 10205497. The fix will be available in our upcoming 4.0.2 patch release. Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.

  • Issue with column Total in a table

    Hi All,
I am facing a strange issue with the column total value in an advanced table. I have enabled Total for a number column in the table, and added a total item in the footer section.
This is working fine for the small numbers (10 digits) . But for the bigger numbers , once the sum is calculated the sum data is getting populated in one of the fields. This is for numbers with 30 digits.
Pls suggest a solution for this.
    Thanks!
    Srikanth

    Unbelievable :)
Numbers with more than 30 digits ?!!!?
What kind of application is that? ;)

  • Multiple Line Charts with Column Chart

I want to show two line charts with a column chart.  Everything goes on the screen fine, except the two line charts origination point always starts at the same point despite the numbers being different.  For example, the ls1 might read 280, 190, 180 and the ls2 is 175, 188, 177 but both origination points start at 280.  The other two datapoints should also be close together but they have a substantial gap of about 50 between them.  Obviosuly I want to have two separate lines.  I have also tried moving the line series below the first lines series with no success.

    myArrayCol.refresh( );

  • Background Element Size issue in Column Chart

    Hi All,
I am trying to add multiple chart to hbox dynamically with each chart having vbox as an background element and only first and last chart is having axis.
for example shown in below image three column chart are getting added out of which second chart dosn't contain either axis on left or right.
I am facing a problem in making background element of same size means there should not be size difference as shown below:
How can i make all the vboxes that i have used of same size ?
    Thanks in advance.

Spacing is done based on the number of columns in the chart. It is better to use one chart and group the data accordingly. It is possible to add multiple axis for a chart

  • Dynamic crystal report generation - issues with column headings

    Hi All,<br>
I'm trying to generate a crystal report dynamically based on a "result set" data(Query: select REPORT_ID, REPORT_NAME, REPORT_DESC, RPT_FILE_NAME, LOCATION from IRS_REPORT_DETAILS). appreciate your help.

    IField field = table.getDataFields().getField(i);
Here you are getting the first field in the array.  This may not be the field you want to add since we aren't sure how the arrays are ordered when retrieving fields from the report.  It is better to retrieve the fields with the findObjectByName method, thus ensuring you are retrieving the field you want to add to your heading.

  • Issue with Column Alias Name in a SELECT statement

I am trying to run sql query(IN ORACLE) to get the data from a remote database(TERADATA). The query is
    select (table1.exp_date - table1.setup_date) AS day_diff,
    CASE
    WHEN day_diff = '0'
    THEN 'YES'
    WHEN day_diff > '0'
    THEN 'NO'
    ELSE 'Unknown'
    END AS alias_type
    from table1@remote_database_name;
The query is running fine when I run it in TERADATA environment directly without the remote database link since it is not necessary. If I run the above query in Oracle I am getting an error ORA-00904: invalid identifier.(this error is pointing to day_diff alias name)
Can anyone help me with this?
    Thanks

The Column alias can be used in the ORDER BY clause, but not other clauses, like WHERE clause, in the query.
    Use..
    select (table1.exp_date - table1.setup_date) AS day_diff,
    CASE
    WHEN (table1.exp_date - table1.setup_date) = '0'
    THEN 'YES'
    WHEN (table1.exp_date - table1.setup_date) > '0'
    THEN 'NO'
    ELSE 'Unknown'
    END AS alias_type

  • CS4 vs CS5 compatibility issue with columns[0]

    Hello,
    I've run into a problem.
I have a CS4 script that has this line:
    myLines = myTextFrame.columns[0].lines.everyItem();
This gave me a simple way to access all lines in a text frame that are on the edge of the frame, and ignore any lines in columns.
In CS5, if a paragraph in a text frame has span columns on, then columns[0] only returns the lines until the first span paragraph.
In other words: myTextFrame.columns.length in CS4 would return 1 if there are no columns.
But in CS5, if there are no columns but one of the paragraphs is split into 2, myTextFrame.columns.length returns 4.
Given this, the question is: Is there a quick way to get all lines in a textframe that are in the leftmost column in CS5?
    Thank you,
    Ariel

It looks like you're the only person so far who's posted that particular message on the web anywhere!
Out of curiosity, do you have the Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility option set to Always in Edit - Preferences - File Handling?
I have no experience with nested groups, myself, but that setting comes to mind as being involved with the kind of compatibility you're hoping to accomplish.
I do know that nested group capabilities have been around since at least Photoshop CS2.

  • Issue with Group Chart of Accounts

    HI All,
Good Morning. I have 2 Comp Codes, using different Chart of Accounts and have 0001 as Group Chart of Accounts. When I try to create GL Account in One Comp Code, giving Group Account Number,  I am getting the below error.
"Corporate Group Accounting 200121 not defined in Group Chart of Accounts"
What I have done was that during creation of COAs for the above 2 Comp Codes, I have assigned Group Chart of Accounts 0001 to them.
Pls let me know if any configuration was missed out.
    Niranjan

    HI Murali,
I have done so.  I have created G COA and Op COA and assigned G COA in Op COA in OB13.

  • Pie chart issue with WAD

    Hi Experts,
When I try to execute a query through Web Application Designer with a form of Pie chart, its not working properly. All I'm getting in web dash board is just a circle with blue color. Its similar to the first picture in the below image.
    http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/1450/question3hn0.jpg
But I'm getting correct output with Column chart.
Could someone please help me to resolve this problem?
    Bregards,
    Bala

    Hello Krish,
Please try to check the below:
1.Did you check the result of the query in graphical view via Query Designer or analyser.
Is the graphical view with chart type as pie , showing different colours through Query Designer or Analyser?? if you finding similar kind of image then swap axes and try..
2.Did you try to assign different colours for different categories.
    3.Swap display axes
In th left hand side of the WAD screen.
you will find a properties window. in that there will be 2 tabs.generic and web item.
Click on Webitem.in this go to specific.
and check the check box ...swap display axesand now execute.
    Hope this helps you..

  • Problems with pie chart formatting - APEX v2

Hi - I have created a region with an SVG Pie Chart and set the CSS to display the three segments as red, yellow and green using one of the examples from a previous forum posting. That all works fine, but I still have two issues with the chart:-
    - the legend is displaying too big and is overlapping the right hand region border which looks messy. Is there anyway to force the size of the legend as there is lots of blank space to the right of the labels/values?. If not, is there any way to get the legend to display at the bottom of the area rather than to the side of the chart?
    - the pie chart is 3D but the colours are only displaying on the side, not the top. Is there something I need to set to get this to work OK? Current CSS included below.

    hi Kishore,
For this we have to change the .pcxml file for the pie chart .This is the path
    \OracleBI\web\app\res\s_oracle10\popbin\pie.pcxml
    http://obiee101.blogspot.com/2008/08/obiee-cusstomising-your-pcxml.html
    http://debaatobiee.wordpress.com/2009/09/26/customising-graph-obiee-a-charismatic-gradient-effect/
I am not sure whether it will work or not but try it out
    thanks,
