Umwandlung .docx- pdf - Bilder fehlerhaft (Musterfüllung)

Hallo,
ich habe ein Problem beim umwandeln von Word Dokumenten in PDF mit Acrobat X Pro.
Ich benutze in Acrobat die Funktion PDF erstellen.
Im Word Dokument habe ich Excel Tabellen mit streifiger Musterfüllung (das sind eigentlich ganz feine Streifen von links unten nach rechts oben). Diese sind allerdings nicht als Tabelle sondern als Grafik in Word eingefügt!
Leider wird beim konvertieren folgendes daraus:
Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegen könnte?

Die SaveAsPDF oder auch PrintAsPDF Varianten hätten in der Tat das gewünschte Ergebnis gebracht. Sie waren aber leider nicht praktikabel für meine Zwecke.
Ich hatte aus Dringlichkeitsgründen gleichzeitig im englischen Forum (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1163405) gefragt und zitiere mich ganz frech mal selbst:

If I try the print as pdf function in word I got the same results. But this way is unfortunately not suitable for me. I have to use the create pdf function respectivly the merge function to create one PDF from a bunch of single word files. Additionally Save As or Print As doesn't provide the quality I need for some included photos although the internal settings are the same like directly in AA.
Maybe you got the same results when converting the word file this way?
After a lot of searching through the web I found this bug:

The same way. You will get a load of binary idata, and you have to handle that yourself. .. What, are you expecting libraries to read and somehow convert a .docx document to your taste? You need to look up what 'file format' means.
(Oh alright, there /may/ be a standardized way in OS X to read a jpg and convert it into something OS X can use without you having to know the specifics.)

By the way, If you need to be able to perform operations like find and copy/pasting text. I would suggest converting the document to a .pdf, and displaying it inline, in whichever standard pdf viewer the client machine has installed.

Markup not displaying Doc/docx/PDF properly

I'm using Oracle text in conjunction with Apex, all on top of the 11G database. My issue is that using the Oracle text Markup, many files types do not display properly. The level of wrongness varies, from some readable text to complete gibberish. This happens to all version of PDFs, Docs, and Docx files. A sample of what appears is below:

Well, I figured this one out on my own. I had been using a multi-column datastore, and it turns out that you have to turn on auto-filtering for each column you add. Once I had done this and rebuilt my index, my markup was much more accurate and readable. Hopefully this can help out anyone else going through this issue.

Help with configuring docx - PDF conversion needed

Problem is: pdf is created but it is not pdf, files are just renamed to .pdf
I have following environment
- centos 5.6
- WLS 10.3.5.0
- UCM 11gR1-11.1.1.5.0-idcprod1-110413T184243 (Build:7.3.2.182)
- IBR Version:11gR1-11.1.1.5.0-idcprod1-110413T184243 (Build:7.3.2.182)
- Enabled PDFExportConverter on IBR.
- Checked "Convert to PDF using PDF Export" on "primary web rendition"
- Configured IBR to convert doc and docx files to pdf.
When i checkin new docx, following data is written to agent log:

What exactly you mean with pdf drivers.
I have not configured "Distiller Engine" in any way, since configuration guide says:

PDF - Bilder sind nach Kopieren "zerstört"

hab PDF auf USB kopiert, jetzt sind "Fehler" im kopierten Bild und im Text (FARBE und STRICHE) als wäre das Blatt in einem Kopierer stecken geblieben.

Beispiel:

it creates a pdf document with two pages the first always blank
how do i solve this problem in the conversion process ?
i just want to create a single page pdf from a single page docx document

Incorrect displayed pictures after conversion docx- pdf

Hello,
I use Acrobat X Pro and I want to create a PDF using the "Create PDF" function in Acrobat itsself.
In the word document there are excel charts. But they are insert from excel to word as graphic! The charts have some table elements filled with stripe patterns.
But after conversion it looks like that:

I ran these in AA 9.5 with a print from WORD. The settings file was set to my default of the IEEE publications settings (for Journals). You could also try press or print settings. The standard and smallest size settings do not do very well for a lot of graphics. Any way here are the two pages captured on screen at 200%. I can try AA XI if you like.

I redid the experiment with AA XI. Unfortunately on this machine I do not have OFFICE, but have LibreOffice. I am including the results or printing to the Adobe PDF printer from LibreOffice. I have cut and pasted the view of both pages (as in your PDF).

Actually, the LibreOffice version looks better to me than the MS version. For some reason the second table seems messed up, but that is how it looks in LibreOfffice also. I do not use LibreOffice much and so I may have not done some things correctly. However, that gives you another view.

Convert dotx or docx to pdf with Word Automation Service failed

After search on the internet, I'm looking for a solution to this issue.
I wrote this code for a document conversion in a visual studio 2010 workflow:

Were you able to resolve this? I am coming across the exact same error on a SharePoint 2010 development machine. I don't see any other posts on the web about it. Here is the entry from my ULS logs:

I've actually tried re-installing SharePoint several times on brand new virtual machines. That did not resolve the issue. Strangely enough, the RTM version of SharePoint appears to work just fine. With all other configuration points the
same, I loaded RTM ... ran a Word Automation PowerShell script ... and received the expected PDF output. Then when I apply the SP1 patch ... it stops working and I get error 65543.

Convert list item attachment from docx to pdf using Word Automation Services

I have been trying to convert List Item attachments from docx to pdf using word automation services, it works in a normal document library but when I use the list attachment it throws a null reference error.

Using reflector I was able to see my problem lies in Microsoft.Office.Word.Server.FolderIterator.cs where it uses SPFile.Item which returns NULL

According to your description, my understanding is that when you use word automation service to convert Word to PDF for list item attachment, it throws the null reference error.
I suggest you can create an event receiver and convert the word to memory stream like below:

Some PDF, .DOC, .DOCX won't import properly (open) after iTunes sync

Hi everyone,
After exporting/transferring documents from my MBP to my iPad2 (specifically .xlsx to Numbers, .Doc, .Docx, .pdf to Pages) some won't allow me to open them on the iPad and I can't figure out why.
Once I make them available to open on the iPad and I go to import from "Copy from iTunes", the odd one (less than 1 in 10) is greyed out and won't let me open it. I've tried renaming the file, removing the file type from the name, etc. etc.
Note: all .xlsx have worked; about 9/10 .doc or .docx have worked, and about 4/5 .pdf have worked, so I know I'm doing things right on the iTunes side.
Any idea what's up?

Solution I've found:
- emailed myself the PDF in question and opened in iBooks.
I'm wondering if you aren't supposed to be able to read PDFs in Pages, since it's a fixed document (not editable).

Mit Adobe PDF aus Word 2003 erzeugen: empfohlene Einstellungen für Screenshot-Bilder ohne Artefakte?

Mein Word-Dokument beinhaltet Screenshots von Text-Dialogen (einige 100% und einige verkleinert).
Obwohl die Qualität der Bilder im MS Word-Viewer gut ist, zeigen die erzeugten PDFs Artefakte hauptsächlich an schwarzen Texten:
Die einzelnen Buchstaben sind verdünnt oder verdickt!
Die Betrachtungsqualität steigt auch nicht beim Hineinzoomen (z. B. auf 200%).
Ich versuchte Einstellungen ohne Bildkompression, aber die Artefakte bleiben!
a) Ich füge die Screenshots via Copy&Paste hinzu, wobei ich das Ausschneidetool "snagit" benutze.
b) Wie ist die richtige Einstellung des Adobe PDF-Creators, die keinerlei Kompression anwendet (= Original-Bitmap)?
Oder ist es ein Prinzip, dass in einem PDF Bilder immer komprimiert enthalten sind?

Ich nutze Windows 7Ultimate-64 SP1, MS Word 2003 SP3 und hatte getestet Adobe XI Pro.
Ein Screenshot mit meinen Testeinstellungen, die leider nicht zu PDFs ohne Bildstörungen geführt haben.

JPG Bild in JPG Bild einfügen

hi liebe forumsmitglieder,
ich habe ein jpg bild geladen . in dieses bild möchte ich ein weiteres jpg bild einfügen. dies gelingt mir nicht.
wenn ich das 2 te bild vorher umwandle in ein pdf bild dann geht es über plazieren. nun die frage. kann ich nicht direkt ein 2 tes. jpg bild ohne der umwandlung in das erste einfügen. wenn bitte wie mache ich das. mit dank im voraus josef

+ Beim Kopieren wird nur der sichtbare Bereich einer Ebene genommen, bei Verschieben wird die gesammte Ebene verwendet.
+ Lediglich Pixel können mit dem kopieren von einer Datei in eine andere rübergeholt werden, bei Vektorebenen muss ein anderes Auswahlwerkzeug genommen werden, bei Text wiederum ein anderes, beim Verschieben muss ich nicht überlegen.
+ Wenn man bei einem Textlayer eine Auswahl trifft und kopiert und in die andere Datei einfügt, dann kommt das gerastert an.
+ Wenn man eine Formebene mit einer Auswahl hat, dann kommt nach copy/paste nur der Pfad an.
+ Beim Kopieren wird die Zwischenablage gefüllt, das kann bei schwachen Systemen die Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit reduzieren.
+ Beim Verschieben kann man durch Drücken der Umschalttaste ein Bild exakt im neuen Bild zentrieren und hat sogleich einen Ansatzpunkt, wo das Zielobjekt hin muss.
+ Wenn man ein Smart Object kopiert gehen alle Informationen beim Einfügen verloren, es kommt lediglich eine Rasterebene an.
+ Beim Kopieren gehen Ebeneneffekte verloren.
Vorteile bietet das Kopieren beim Befehl Copy Merged (ich weiß gar nicht, wie der auf deutsch heißt, weil ich gerade die US-Version laufen habe), wo man das Erscheinungsbild aller Ebenen kopiert.
Ich weiß, dass vieles nicht bei JPG zutrifft, aber man sollte sich trotzdem die richtige Vorgehensweise angewöhnen.
