Unable to change the Primary in a Team MVG for Master Case
Hi,
In the 'PUB Master Case' BC, I have configured the Team field to hold an MVG.
Changes Done:
In "PUB Master Case" BC,
The Team field is an MVF. I have changed the MVL from "Contact/Position" to "PUB Master Case/Position" which is identical to HLS Case/Position.
Set the Business Component User Property: "MVG Set Primary Restricted: Position" to "False"
Observation:
The Business Component has 'BusComp View Mode' set with Owner Type 'Position' and Visibility MVLink 'Position'.
The "PUB Master Case - Cases View" View has two applets "PUB Master Case Form Applet" and "PUB Master Case - Cases List Applet". Both has MVF 'Team' with "Contact Team Mvg Applet" as the Mvg Applet.
"PUB Master Case Form Applet" belongs to "PUB Master Case" BC and "PUB Master Case - Cases List Applet" belongs to "HLS Case" BC.
I am able to change the primary in "PUB Master Case - Cases List Applet"
Issue:
I am not able to change primary for the Mvg in "PUB Master Case Form Applet"
What could be causing this issue?

Could you please try to get logs/sql? Would be more helpful to see what is happening in the backend.

You can reach out to Verizon Wireless' Customer Care team by calling 800-922-0204 between 6am and 11pm daily. Also, please be advised that Verizon Wireless discontinued the price plans that required the designation of a primary line. We now have Account Level Pricing, so there is no need to change the position of any number on those plans.

Change the Primary Address, Billing Address, or Shipping Address
We currently allow the users to add multiple addresses per account, we need to have the ability to change which is the primary address, which is the billing address and which is the shipping address. Currently is the addresses view we can see the Billing and Shipping checkbox but can not edit them. We are also unable to see the primary checkbox but can load to that field. How can we allow the users to edit the Primary, Billing and Shipping checkboxes in the Addresses view?

Name your address fields Address 1 and Address 2 and then match your picklists to this, you might need to manually create the 3rd address fields. Think I may have missed the point here, i've just checked an environment and see you are talking about the Address Related information not the main address information in the body of the Account record. Sorry, can't help ;-D

Unable to change the data in PSA
Hello All,
I have a delta failure because of invalid characters in one of the field and now i wanted to change the PSA. I have deleted the request from all data targets and started changing the error record, it is not showing all columns from PSA hence i am unable to change the data in required field.
Could you please let me know how will i see all columns from PSA. Thanks

To increase/decrease the number of columns that are displayed on the menu from the Settings option select Change display variants
Also if you want to see say all the failed records you can sort the order of the data using the Status column -

while installation i have given the central SLD system as solman,
By mistake i have deleted the system from SMSY.. now when i createed the system manually i am unable to change the data resource as SLD due to this i can start my SMD configuration

You can proceed with deleting your SAP system from SMSY (along with connected technical content such as AS Java definition) and the run the LANDSCAPE FETCH through transaction SMSY_SETUP to have the correct definition of your SAP system in SMSY.
Following this, you could use the addon Landscape Verification (a new thing I learnt today!!!) to check the correctness of transaction SMSY. The following link details the Landscape verification 1.0 for SolMan:

Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 domain join displays error "Changing the Primary Domain DNS name of this computer to "" failed...."
DC:windows Server 2008 R2
Domain functional level:Windows Server 2003
When Winxp join domain, have no this error message.
I checked http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2018583?wa=wsignin1.0 does't work.
There have 3 suggestion in this article:
1.The "Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" checkbox has been disabled in the IPv4 properties of the computer being joined.
Doesnt's work.
2.Connectivity over UDP port 137 is blocked between client and the helper DC servicing the join operation in the target domain.
On my DC, I run netstat -an, reslut as below:
UDP 192.168.20.3:137 *:*
3.The TCP/IPv4 protocol has been disabled so that the client being joined or the DC in the destination domain targeted by the LDAP BIND is running TCP/IPv6 only.
We are not using IPV6.
This server recently updated from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2. Before upgrade, when Win7 and Win2008 join this domain, also have the same error message.
Please help to check this issue.

I have faced this critical error which makes over-writes the host names in the domain when you join.
For example: Already you had a host name called as PC.domain.com in the domain.com Domain.
When you try to add the another host name called as PC in the domain.com Domain, it doesn't give you the duplicate name error on the network it does over-write the existing host name called as PC.domain.com & it will add the new host name into the domain.
Host name which got over-written will get removed from the domain. I faced this issue in my project. My DPM host name got removed from the Domain & new host name got joined into the domain which halted my backups for one day.
Final Resolution is as follows:
You need to start the dns console on the DC & drop down the domain name.
Select the _msdcs when you click on _msdcs it will show the Name Server's list on the right hand side.
You need to add the Domain Naming Master under the _msdcs or add all the domain controllers which you had.
After you add the Name server's try joining the PC OR Laptop to the domain which is successfully joins it.

How do i use WGM or dcsl to change the primary groups of users, defined by another group?
i've got a ton of users, whose primary group is "current student". they all belong to the other group "year 13"
they've left school, so i thought it would be easy to do a search of users with GID equal to or containing the GID for "year 13" (in this case 1121) and then change their primary group to "left school"
except that doesn't work. i can only search for them in WGM by primary group, it seems. therefore i cannot do any batch operations on a secondary group.
so. how do i do this? is there a way of scripting dcsl to find users by 'other group' and then change the primary group attribute?
i'm going to need to be doing a lot of this (changing the other gropus of a school full of students). bit stumped.

How can I change my Apple ID without having to change the primary email address to this non-existent account? If I did so, I wouldn't be able to access the account to receive the verification email. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I had to change the Apple ID used for my iphone 4s. How do I change the Apple ID for the iCloud information? - the old Apple ID/password no longer exists and this information is requested to make a change. I am unable to change the Apple ID for the iCloud account.
Apple IDs never go away, so it still exists.
But lets be clear. You actually stopped using an Apple ID and created a NEW Apple ID. You didn't just change the email address of your Apple ID? That means that all of the music and apps purchased with the old Apple ID will have to be purchased again.
If you really did create a new Apple ID you will need the password associated with the old one to disable Activation Lock. There is no way around this. As I said, the old one still exists. You can use the standard tools to recover the password at https://appleid.apple.com. -
Can't use Find My Friends on iPhone due to Apple ID not being verified.
Can't do this as I can't access my .mac email any longer and I can not change the primary e-mail address for my Apple ID!
So my options are:
Create a new Apple ID, use that and lose all the apps I've purhcased with it (a fairly substantial amount)
Somehow Migrate these purchases over to a new Apple ID
Apple let me change the primary ID for the account

Do you mean selecting the address which by default appears as the 'From' address when composing a message? Mail Preferences>Composing and set 'Send new messages from' to the required address.
If that isn't what you mean can you please explain in detail what you are trying to do. -

You need at least 10.7.2, check that you do have that, 10.7 is insufficient. Post back with your OSX version.
