Unable to complete the installation of Premiere Elements 12

I am the administrator on my windows 7 box, 64 bit system. PC is clean, runs smooth, run CCleaner several times a day and have no problems downloading and installing other software.
I see others have this issue as well. Error says my machine is not up to date and I need a 64 bit system but my system is a 64 bit system. It shouldn't be this difficult.
Any suggestions on why the download takes place and when it hits 100%, I get this error?

I will try to provide all the answers to your questions.
Q: Have you ensured that the version of the program you've downloaded is for 64-bit Windows?
A: Yes see screen captures attached below.
Q: Have you gone to Windows Update and ensured that your computer will get Microsoft Updates as well as Windows Updates and have you installed all of the updates, even the non-critical ones that don't install automatically?
A: Yes up to date. only update not loaded was the bing tool bar and I don't want it.
Q: Have you ensured you have the latest version of Quicktime from Apple?
A: Version 7.7.4 (1680.86) latest version
Q: Have you got at least 4 gig of RAM? How much free, clean, defragmented space is on your hard drive?
A: I have 8 gig of RAM with a 1 Tb hard drive with 723 Mgb free disk space, none fragmented.
I have also tried a clean boot and reinstallation of Premiere Elements trial version and still can't make it work.and I still get these messages.
Thes eare the two screenshots associated with this install.

Can anyone help with the installation of Premiere Elements 10 from disk onto a Mac?

I have tried to install to a Mac from DVD. The installation fails at 51% on Disc 3 (the first disc for Mac) and returns Error 7. I have tried to download a trial version, but it is no longer available for PE 10. I've also tried to run the Premiere Elements 10 Installation Fix, but it won't run, returning an error that says the Certificate has been revoked. Can anyone help?

I can't download the trial of Premiere Elements 11 - why not??

Hi - I am trying to download the trial of Premiere Elements 11 (as Adobe suggested because 10 was not working properly) but am getting nowhere. I click the "download now" button and ....nothing....nada...niente!
Help?! I can't find any evidence of the "download assistant" on my laptop (I was thinking maybe it was already there which might explain why it appeared to do nothing) but no. So I have fallen at the first hurdle.
This is a complete nightmare - why is it so difficult?!! What am I doing wrong....or is there another way to download it?
Help me please...and quick, as I'm supposed to be working but will have nothing to show for it at this rate.....I'll have to just get back to Prem Elements 10 will all its frozen pictures!!

Getting the message Adobe Premiere Elements could not start after silent install

I am getting the following message after running a silent command line installtion. The coomand line I am using is
setup.exe" /S /UL1033 /V"/qn COUNTRY=244 SERIALNUMBER="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" the x64 on Windows 7 64-bit.
After manually running the set-up.exe installer located in the ElementsSTIInstaller folder, Premiere elements launchs.
What is the cause of the error after running a silent installion?

and command to install Premiere elements silently is : start/wait OEM.exe /UL%LangCode% /V“SERIALNUMBER=%Adobe volume license serial number%”
Example : C:\ Adobe Premiere Elements 10/Adobe Premiere Elements 10 - 64 Bit> start/wait OEM.exe /UL1033 /V"SERIALNUMBER=1111-1111-1111-1111-1111-1111"

Trouble with completing the installation

hi there.
i am having trouble with completing the installation process of iTunes 7.0.2. i get to the part where status says "Registering Modules" and it stops there. i leave the program on and untouched for 30 minutes and the installation is still not complete. this totally screws up my computer and makes it unable for me to open iTunes at all. i have unistalled my old iPod softwear (i lost the thing anyhow) and there is no change. please help me i am at the end of my rope and i dont know what to do

this document is the best place to start with one of those:
iTunes 7 or later for Windows Installation stops responding while "registering modules"
... but if no joy there, and you have SpyCatcher (or the version of Ghostsurf Platinum that contains SpyCatcher) on that PC, try uninstalling SpyCatcher altogether prior to the iTunes install.
if the itunes install goes through properly after that, launch itunes at least once prior to reinstalling SpyCatcher.

j'ai acheté le logiciel d'installation hier et donc avec le cd
d'installation et le S/N.
Le programme s'installe bien sous Windows 7 ( photoshop elements 12 et
elements organzer ) puis me donne un message d'erreur ( copie en annexe )
lors de l'installation de shared technologies obligatoire.
J'ai désactivé mon anti-virus et essayé plusieurs fois, même la version
d'essai. Rien à faire je reçois toujours le même message.
A noter que j'ai acheté aussi premiere elements 11 le mois dernier et que
je n'ai eu aucun problème a l'installer !
D'autre part, la page d'aide que vous me proposé est hors service !
Que puis-je faire?

Unable to import .mp4/.ts into Premiere Elements 3.0

The device saves the footage in a .ts file.
I've tried to get information on the file using a program. If there's a better way to do it, please let me know:
When I try to import the file into Premiere Elements 3.0, I get an error message: "File format not supported/One of the necessary components may not have been installed."
I've converted the file into an mp4 format with this program: http://ftp2.avermedia.com/C875/C875_utility_v1.0.0.9_20131029.zip

Ideally, I would like to avoid converting the video file, if that would take up a lot of time. If I can just upgrade Premiere Elements, that would be the most ideal solution.
Please let me know if any additional information is needed.

I am able to import a .ts file into Premiere Elements 10, 11, and 12 Windows 7 64 bit.
But, not so, for Premiere Elements 4, 7, 8, and 9.
And, the reason why your .mp4 conversion did not work would be in accord with the fact that you used AVCHD as the video compression, and AVCHD video compression was not supported by Premiere Elements until version 7.
If you do decide to move to version 12, please note that there is a dramatic difference in workspace between 3 and 12. So, go the free tryout of 12 before any purchase.
You could try to convert the .ts to H.264.mp4 and not AVCHD (MPEG4 AVC/H.264).mp4 and see if that works for you.

Mainstage Was unable to complete the download world music loops

Ok, so I have bought Mainstage 2.2 from the app Store, and have almost downloaded all the additional content.
However, the only pack that will not complete it the World Music Apple Loops.
I immediately get the message, Mainstage was unable to complete the download.
There is no attempt to download this pack.
Any suggestions? I don't really want to uninstall and download 20Gb again.

More disk space than I can shake a stick at, very stable internet connection, speedtest shows ping <18ms etc. The main reason for purchasing mainstage is for the loops and instruments, at £20 that's a bargain, but only if I can get the application to download the last package.
Wireshark shows that the server is rejecting the request from MainStage as a HTTP/1.1 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable.
Looks like either a MainStage Application issue requesting the HTTP GET command or the Server not servicing that request.

I ended up putting it in DFU mode. It's kinda hard to tell it was in DFU mode because nothing showed on the screen, it was just black, but the sounds from the computer helped to tell me it was connected.
Itunes still didn't recognize the device for whatever reason.
So I used redsn0w. I don't know if I can say that on these forums, but considering itunes was worthless at this point I am going to give credit where credit is due.
Now I am giving itunes a second chance to upgrade to 5.1, if it doesn't work, well, back to redsnow and maybe I will even jailbreak it this time rather than just using the fecovery fix found under extras.

I would be glad for the opportunity to customize a Premiere Elements 12 answer to your Premiere Elements 12 issue.
But, I want to make sure that we are together on the details. This is my understanding of what you have written. Please review and let me
know if I am misinterpreting anything that you have written.
You have a video created in Windows Movie Maker.
How did you output the video from Windows Movie Maker...wmv or mp4, what was the frame size and frame rate of that export?
Next you import that video into Premiere Elements 12 (can we assume that this is on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit?)
From what you wrote, you have applied a pan and zoom effect to your video in Premiere Elements.
Now you go to export the Premiere Elements 12 Timeline content with your video with the pan and zoom applied.
But, the pan and zoom effect is not seen in playback of the export.
Is all of the above correct so far?
If so....we are going to need some more details from you...
a. What is the project preset that you or the project are setting to match the properties of the video coming from Movie maker? See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Rate, and Pixel Aspect Ratio even if the fields look grayed out.
b. Are you applying the pan and zoom effect with the Pan and Zoom Tool, fx Effects Presets, or keyframing the Scale (for Zoom) and
Position (for Pan) in the Motion Panel expanded?
c. What are you selecting as your export in Publish+Share/. Please give details...are you using default settings or customizing the export
setting under the Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab of the preset selected?
I am suspecting some sort of mismatch of your project settings or some problems with working with the Pan and Zoom tool. I need
your answers to help me help you. If I have written anything that you do not understand, please let me know. I will re-write if necessary
so that we are in sync to resolve the issue.

Never heard of that being caused by installing iTunes. Try asking on a Windows forum. This isn't a problem with iTunes or any other Apple product. If you believe it is, uninstall iTunes. If the problem persists, you'll have to seek advice on a Windows forum or contact Microsoft for support.

Windows could not complete the installation recovery error message with HP recovery discs

While doing a system recovery on an HP G72-b50US notebook using HP purchased recovery DVD's, the reboot "Welcome" screen always (tried 5 recovery attempts from scratch) generates the error message "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on theis compuiter, restart the installation". any attempt at a reboot, even into safe mode, regenerates this same error message. How does this get fixed to allow completion of the installation process?

I wish I could tell you.
I also used the HP factory recovery disks on an 8200 Elite CMT. I used them once before with no problem.
The second time was a show-stopper. The recovery process would ask for all 4 disks, then the recovery installation would begin, reboot continue on, everything normal.
Then on the last reboot, when the recovery program stated it was configuring windows, it just quit and stated Windows could not complete the installation.
I made sure that I had absolutely nothing connected to the PC except the keyboard, mouse and monitor.
The only thing I can possibly think of was that I installed a Radeon HD 6570 video card which I replaced the Radeon HD 6350 card with. However, both cards are supported in the PC, and I cannot remember if I did the restore with the 6350 the last time or the 6570.
Now, the reason the ISO file will work is because this is a plain and simple Microsoft Windows 7 ISO file--the very same one that you download when you purchase W7 online from the very same download site.
It is not PC-specific and will install on any PC in the world.
A recovery disk is PC-specific, and is a very complicated mish-mash of programs, drivers, operating system, all customized for your specific model PC. Even something like installing a new hard drive or memory can foul up the works.
The downside of using the plain MS disk is the only programs and drivers you can install are the ones found on your notebook's support and driver page.
The upside of using the plain W7 installation, is you normally end up with a better performing PC, free of bloatware and unnecessary running processes.
For someone like me, it is a non-issue, but for others, they may miss some of the included software.
But that is better than having a computer that is of no value with no operating system installed, wouldn't you agree?
