I was enlarging pictures on Facebook to full screen. When i went to move on. All my tool bars and my task bar have disappeared. I have tried all the suggestions on this site to no avail. I don't know how to do a system restore without my task bar, and don't want to lose my book marks. Please help, i can't grt to my important favorite sites.
Can you launch a new window (Ctrl+n for a normal window, Ctrl+Shift+p for a private window) that has the usual complement of toolbars? If a new window also is missing bars, try using the View menu > Toolbars list to restore them. If the classic menu bar is not displayed, usually tapping the Alt key or the F10 key will show it temporarily.

I just bought a ipod touch. I am unable to use it because itunes tells me I have no internet connection (unknown error 306). I have tried all the suggestions I can find, including checking the firewall, the no proxy server is checked, resetting cache on itunes, I even scanned the computer with Registry Easy but nothing worked. I use Mozilla Firefox and have a PC with Windows 7. Obviously, buying a ipod and being unable to use it for 3 days (and counting) because I am unable to register it, is pretty frustrating. Can anyone help?
Did you try all of this:
iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054"
Proxies, parental control settings and software, security or filtering software, or a bad iTunes Store cache can cause this.
To address proxies, Remove Internet Options proxy settings and connect to the Internet without a proxy.
To reset iTunes Store cache:
In iTunes, choose iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (PC).
Click the Advanced tab.
Click the "Reset cache" button.
Click OK and see if the issue is resolved.
Adjust Parental Controls in iTunes:
Open iTunes.
Access iTunes preferences:
On a Mac: From the iTunes menu, choose Preferences.
On a Windows PC: From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
Click the Parental Controls tab.
Remove restrictions on Parental Controls.

I am unable to connect my Macbook air, iPhone or iPad though bluetooth. I have tried all the suggestions I have read. i.e. toggle bluetooth on and off, turn devices on and off, forget devices and then pair. I seem to be able to pair but the devices immediately go to not connected and a message appears that reads: make sure devices are turned on and in range.
Pairing the phone with the car is one thing, but paring to the computer is not generally supported. Tethering is using the cellular data access from the phone for the other devices. It is part of Personal Hotspot. If you aren't aware of what it is, then it probably is something you do not use.
As far as the car is concerned, what is not working? Does the car not see the phone, or the phone see the car, or after you start to pair something fails? If you provide more information about the problem and what you have tried to do to correct it, then we can offer some solutions. What version of the iPhone, what iOS, and what year and make of vehicle? -
MacBook Pro: Unable to Empty Trash (secure or otherwise). Have tried all remedies suggested on Apple's site. I think "Secure Empty Trash" bogs at the first file "iPhone4, 1_8.02_12A495_Restore.ipsw" at 1.78 GB size and goes no further. When I try to move it out of Trash to a temporary location so I can empty remainder of Trash, I get the message "Some of the items you are moving are in use by another application. Moving the items can cause problems with the application using them. Are you sure you want to move these items?" at which point I select "Stop" to avoid possible disaster. Can you help? Thanks.

I recently changed my password to my apple id and was able to log into everything fine except the icloud on my ipad. It reverted back to an old apple id and I don't know the password. I have tried all the suggestions and no luck.
You didn't say what you've tried, but f the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

After updating to itunes 10 I now get an error message that says there is a problem with the windows installer package. I have tried all the things that others suggested but cannot download itunes at all now. Have I lost itunes forever?

I was trying to download a movie and then it said there was a problem connecting to the network , check your settings and try again (5) . I tried all the various suggestions already in the discussions including restore, restart, unplugging everything etc - still doesnt work. Any other new ideas? I bought my apple tv just a few days ago and am really annoyed its already run into problems
Reboot router, make sure it's up to date. If on wifi try ethernet. Make sure DNS is set to automatic (settings - general - network).

I am getting a connection timeout occurred message on my mid-2009 macbook pro I am running mountain lion 10.8.2 but problem occured before and after update. The message only happens when i attempt to connect to the wifi at my university. It works normal at my home. This error just started last semester out the blue. I have read many forums and non have helped ive reset my pram a few times, ive deleted all my networks including my home network out of my system preferences<network and all that extra stuff. if anyone has a clue please help me because one of my classes requires me to take in class test over the internet. Assuming that you've ruled out those possibilities, click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the preference pane and authenticate, if necessary. From the Location menu at the top of the window, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test. -

I am afraid that the solution did not work... the ipod touch of mine seems really not functioning. It receives an electric isgnal from the computer but it doesnt sync at all... Whenever I put my ipod touch off and plug it to my computer it turns on but it doesnt sync... .. Moreover, I have used different PCs so as to try it syncing.. I have used mac book pro and windows 7 laptops but it gives similar feedback, which is NO FEEDBACK at all...

My tabs are NOT restored after I reopen close and open firefox. I have tried the default page - on it I don't have "Restore Previous Session" button. I tried with the history menu - the "Restore Previous Session" option is not even available, like I never had previous session. I have tried to put my settings to always restore the tabs from the previous time- in fact, this option is on "Show my windows and tabs from last time" for a very long time now. Still don't work. Please, give me ideas, or even set up some time to chat live. Thank you all in advance.

Last week for the first time in ever having zero problems with Firefox for years all I had was a black screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, searched for hours for solutions, I feel like I've tried them all to no avail. Almost every troubleshooting tip says to start with the toolbar, I have no toolbar in Firefox any longer, only a clear window where I can see my desktop behind it and a black square. Interestingly enough, from memory of course, it's said something about incompatible XP but I've got Windows 7, never had XP on this computer.
Anyway, I'm using Explorer now and I don't really like it. I've really enjoyed Firefox for years and I miss it intensely. Never had a problem on my other computer, either, but it has XP and I don't use it online any longer.
Please please please don't ask me to try any troubleshooting that involves starting at the toolbar, again, I have no toolbar, literally a black screen and only the minimize and close buttons. That is all. Thank you.

My apple tv quit working and I have done everythng listed on Apple's site as well as other help sites and nothing has fixed the problem. I have restarted and reset the apple tv, I have reinstalled itunes and I turned off and reset my router. All to no avail. Any suggetions?
Port is open and router recognizes the Apple TV. I noticed on the web that certain Apple TV's had problems and Apple was replacing the units. I am going to take the unit to the Apple Store and have the it checked to see if it is one of the units that don't work with the latest version of itunes.

Firefox does not prompt to save my tabs nor does it bring them back when it reopens. It does not even bring up my home page. I have tried the suggested fixes in the help section. This still happens in safe mode so I tried disabling plugins etc. - no change.
