Hi All,

  • Unable to create data-domain in Endeca 3.0v

    Hi,
I have installed Endeca 3.0 server in non-SSL mode. The verification URL http://localhost:7001/endeca-server/ws/manage?wsdl is opening up. I could login into the WebLogic Administration Console and could see that the oracle.endecaserver Web application has a State of "Active" in the Administration Console. But when I try to create data-domain using through command prompt I get an error as: 'java' is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
May I know what is preventing from creating data-domain.
    Thanks,
    Anusha.R

It sounds like you are running endeca-cmd[.sh] create-dd as a user who does not have the Java JDK on its PATH.
To set this temporarily for the life of one shell you can follow the instructions in the JRockit Installation and Upgrade Guide, http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15289_01/doc.40/e15065/post_install.htm#i1066387 . To make this permanent, for Linux you'll want to add this to your shell startup files (.bash_profile) or on Windows follow the instructions to add an environment variable.

looks like you have not defined PS_CFG_HOME as an environment variable. that is why it is trying to create the domain in the local user profile. I do not think you want this.
Define a PS_CFG_HOME location where you want the domain files to reside and make sure you have write access to the directory.
Perhaps you have UAC enabled, which is withholding the copy of files.

  • Unable to create a domain in the CMS

While entering the various parameters of Change management service server an error occures server exception: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access.
The CMS user belongs to a different system whereas the sld is configured on the other system. The user credentials are not same on both the systems.
    How to overcome this error.

    Hello Gauri
The CMS user must exist in the complete transport landscape and it must also have the same password. This is because it is basically a service user.
I think you need to ensure that appropriate users are created with correct rights.
For additional info, pls have a look at :
    https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/nw-howtoguides
From here go to XI -> Go to the document "How to transport XI Content using CMS"
Just look into user management section and domain creation section.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error in creating the Domain from template in WLS 10.3.2

    Hi All,
I am using WLS 10.3.2 and I need to create a domain from the template of my existing domain.
I followed these steps while creating my existing domain:
I chose these 2 while creating my existing domain
    ** WebLogic Portal - 10.3.2.0*
    ** Weblogic Portal Collaboration Repository - 10.3.2.0 [wlportal_10.3]*
after Test JDBC Data Sources step where all my tests fail and in the next step
Run Database Scripts: here I am running the Scripts by clicking on Run Scripts button and I get the message Database Load Successful!
everything goes fine and my domain works fine.
Now I am trying to create the domain template based on this domain which I created.
After this step I am trying to create a new domain from the newly created template. I follow the steps given and at the end
Creating Domain: Here it shows the progress and once it reaches 100% it displays the info in a popup window saying CFGFWK-60600: Before booting this domain, it is necessary to run the SQL file located at C:\bea\user_projects\domains\base_domain\security\SQLAuthenticator.sql in order to initialize a domain security admin user in the database.
I assume this message is because while creating the domain from template I did not get the step Run Database Scripts and that is why I get that msg at the end.
So I executed the create_db.cmd file wich is in domain home now I get the msg
    +[java] Files=+
    +[java] file:/C:/bea/user_projects/domains/local_domain_frm_tmpl/security/SQLAuthenticator.sql+
    +[java] Load was succesful+
    +[echo] ***** output written to logfile=create_db.log+
so that says DB load was successful now when I tried to start the domain wich is created from the template.....it doesn't start and throws this error:

  • Unable to create a first Domain in JDI CMS system

    Hello All,
I have installed JDI and configured SLD and everything seems to be working properly.  However, when I go into the CMS service (http://localhost:devinf) and try to create a domain it tells me I am creatinga customer domain and will not be able to transport out of it (OK, Fine), I click save and get a message that says only "unable to process request, please see system administrator".
I have one host serving as the SLD and name server.  I am running a J2ee add in system with ABAP as persitence layer.  My SLD is set to use Database as persistence layer.  I tried changing it to ABAP and trying again but that did not fix it.  I have created all users according to plan (CMSadm) and given him all the rights therein.
I have configred the name server in DTR as well, still no luck, still get the message when trying to create a domain in CMS for the first time.
Anyone else seen this or have any ideas?
    Thanks!!
    Tommy

    Hi,
Actually this is not the right place for your question, please look in to Java Development infrastructure Forum. However i will answer your query.
System admin has to create domain(Three letter word)
if you check this url http://<server>:port/devinf as you mentioned you will get DTR,CBS and CMS.With cmsadm user you can create  track before that you have to creta Software component.
if you post what, message you are getting it helps us to answer.

    Hi,
I am getting this error while trying to activate a session in OSB (clustered env with 3 nodes). I have a OSB project which listens to a JMS queue. I was able to create the project fine and was able to activate the session, no issues. But when I tried to update the queue name or delete the project itself, this error gets thrown:
[ConfigFwk:390105]Unable to create WLS change list due to a short term automatic lock obtained by user null. The user has no pending changes and the lock will expire in 600 seconds. Please try again after the lock has expired.
Retrying after those seconds takes me back to the same error but the time get's reset to 600 sec.
I can change the code in that project and activate the session without any issues but if I change any configuration for proxy/business services or delete the project itself, i get this error. the only way to get around this issue is to clone the project and make changes to the cloned project. But, that is not the solution i am looking for as I don't want to keep a old version of the project and don't want to keep creating new queues everytime (since no two proxies can point to the same queue).
Oh, and this happens only with the projects which deal with JMS queues.

  • Unable to create Trust between domains

Scenario. I am trying to build 2 way trust between two Windows forests abc.com & xyz.com
Highest OS in both domain is Win 2008 R2
FFL and DFL in both is Win2003
I added forwarders in DNS in both - It is resolving
    I disabled Antivirus
I stopped Windows firewall in all the DCs of the domains and no n/w level port restrictions is there
I am able to ping to all DCs from each of the DCs in both domains.
Doing above all I am unable to create trust - in the trust wizard it is not identifying Domain names.
Another thing is I have a Primary zone exists in name of each of the domain name. ie In abc.com I have another Primary zone created in xyz.com, Likewise in XYZ.com I have ABC.com primary zone . Will this be an issue?, If not guidelines please...

    Hi,
    >>In ABC.com I have a Primary zone created as xyz.com, Likewise in XYZ.com I have ABC.com primary zone .
    How
    did
you create these Primary zones?  Is there a ABC.com zone in ABC.com?
    >>I am unable to put Conditional forwarders because I have a Primary zone exists in name
of each of the domain name
    If
    there is
    a
    DNS zone of another domain
then we cannot create a conditional forwarder for the other domain.
    Besides,I
suggest you check the SRV Records. You can try to restart the netlogon services
    to re-register SRV records.More
    specifically, in the command
    prompt, type
net stop netlogon to stop netlogon services, then type net start netlogon to start netlogon services.

    Cause: AccessGate instance creation failed.
Action: See the Identity Asserter/Authenticator log for details.
    Level: 1
    Type: ERROR
    Impact: Configuration
This seems to indication my identity assertion is incorrect. My oam authentication provider is pretty simple.
I am using OPEN transport security so the provider config is pretty simple. I provided an AccessGate pwd, primary and secondary access gate servers and Access Gate name provided by my administrator.
I'm not sure about what the Application Domain field refers to. Can someone provide guidance on that?

  • Simple question - Error in creating Weblogic Domain 8.1

    Hello all
I am new to weblogic. I am trying to create a domain for my development. I am following the the steps from
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/adminguide/overview_domain.html
    $ setWLSEnv.sh
    Your environment has been set.
    $ java weblogic.Server
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: weblogic/Server
    So i tried this below
    $ startWLS.sh
    * Warning: This script is DEPRECATED. Please *
    * don't start new Domains with this script. Use *
    * scripts generated by Domain Configuration *
    * Wizard instead. *
And eventually i am not able to create a domain
Please help me figuring out what is the problem.

I am using the default db the installation uses which is PointBase. I am not using any specific db, JDBC Datasource/Connection pool Configuration.
Just to try something different, I tried creating a domain w/ one Admin and Managed Server which uses a Cluster and I did not get any errors. From what I read, a cluster is not necessary but not sure why it works without errors w/ a cluster.
I will try commenting out the datasource from the config and see what happens and will let you know.

  • Creating Weblogic domain with Admin Server and managed servers on different

I am trying to create Weblogic domain where Admin Server and managed servers on different machines. However I am unable to find any steps which would allow me to do so. The config.sh script always creates an Admin Server. Please help.

Whilst the method that Lawrence gives can result in a domain that is perfectly functional, it is a method that can result in errors as you are having to enter the same information twice. Also you will create two admin servers, as the second domain creation will have the console added to it on the renamed admin server and this will give issues.
The best method to create a domain spamming multiple physical machines, is to create the domain with all the components on the first machine. This means planning the domain and making sure all components are added once; so having the information about the domain written out is wise. Ensure that the WLS software is installed in the same path on each machine before starting.
Then copy the domain that you have created from one machine to the other, keeping the same paths. You can simply copy (I've used this method multiple times without issue) but the supported way would be to use the WLST PACK and UNPACK methods. These create and extract domains from templates. Some more information on these is given here -> http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13179_01/common/docs100/pack/intro.html#wp1069056
