Unable to find open A/R Invoices

Hi All,
Somehow, I login as Manager to SAP B1, I double click on the A/R Invoice.
The form wasn't shown. But, If I go to Windows, I can see that A/R Invoice was on the list.
Then, if I go to Row details, I can see the data is in there.
I am not sure what has been changed.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?

David,
It is possible the Invoice form went off your screen co-ordinates. Try to Click on Windows > Cascade and re-position the AR form to the screen by dragging it.

No I did not tried any column formatting before running spreport.sql.
But yes, after the spreport i tried quering tables "stats$snapshot and stats$database_instance " and also tried to set the column format. But it didnt helped.

Unable to find open item in F-44

Dear Guru's,
One of our client have raised a accrual/defferal entry in FBS1 on the date 31.06.2011(goods in transit Dr, vendor Cr) and again he has reversed the same entry in F.81 on 23.08.2011 and now he wants to clear the open item in F-44 for the above two entries, now the issue is that he could not find the open entry in F-44 which he has raised in FBS1, where as he could find the entry which he has reversed in F.81. As a result he is not able to clear the vendor. Also we could find both the above entries as open items in FBL!N for the vendor. We doesnt use F110 where it could block the proposed payments. Please help me on this.

Hi,
when you have entered document under TC FBS1. Here you can generate the payment also.
My point of view you have done the reversal entry under TC F.81 also. This means document reversed it.
You can see the reversal item reversal under TC F-02. Or
I am suggesting to you can post documents again and clear the payment.
when we have normal clearings then used the TC F-44.

What can be done so that I can either open and see the layers or how can the sender save it in a way that it doesn't "merge" the layers in some way to just one?

Could try saving as tiff provided layers and transparency are chosen at the time of saving. But it's hard to give a definitive answer as it depends on the final usage. For example PSD's tend to work better in applications like In Design in comparison with tiff.

Error 1019002 - Unable To Find Or Open .esm file.

We use nightly MaxL scripts to re-set and re-load our cubes each night. (We are on Essbase 7.1.3) Same process has been working for years...this week we start getting errors on some of the cube builds. Some cubes build fine, but 1 or 2 throw on error in the middle of the build when trying to access the .ems file.
1019002 - Unable To Find Or Open [E:\Hyperion\essbase\APP\CHRGBCK\CB_db\CB_db.esm].
1019041 - Unable to write information to file [E:\Hyperion\essbase\APP\CHRGBCK\CB_db\CB_db.esm], adWriteObject returns [1019002]
When you go into the Database folder for the cubes that fail, sure enough, there is no .esm file. However, when you manually kick-off the MaxL, it runs fine and somehow creates this .esm file.

.esm file(Essbase Kernel file) is one of the critical files that manages pointers to data blocks, and contains control information that is used for database recovery.
If there is a problem with any one of the following essential database files, the entire database becomes corrupted and Essbase Server cannot start the database:
● essn.pag
● essn.ind
● dbname.esm
● dbname.tct
● dbname.ind
To restore the database, delete these file, restart the database, and reload from data files or from export files backed up prior to the corruption.

Whenever I try to open a certain document on Microsoft word it keeps saying it is unable to find the document. How do I find it?

I typed a 10 page paper. And when I went to submit it to my class online the document was grey and it had no information and it wouldn't let me open it; like it was corrupted. When I do click on it, it says that Microsoft Word is unable to find my document.
When I click would you like to locate it yourself, it brings me to all my documents but it is no where to be found on my computer. How do I retrieve it?

From where did you open the file for editing originally? Have you saved it properly before you submit it?
As Paul mentioned above, in some cases, corrupted documents are rarely recoverable. Do you have a backup of that file? Or elaborate a little bit about your situation for further assistance.

Process :
Create PO : Me21n
Do GR : migo
Then all the ERS invoices are settled using MRRL .
Issue:
Once settlement is done in MRRL they should be available in mr90 for output .This is not happening.I am unable to find invoices in MR90

Unable to find the published output for this request - problem

Hi ,
In the invoice Payables module i modified a report to be open in xml and not text as it was. The program name of this report iis Print Invoice Notice. I did same thing we normally do to register a xml report in ebs.
The problem is that when i run the report from the invoice form and from the button wich call this raport i get this error:
Unable to find the published output for this request.
No output file exist for the request
and if i see the log file i get this message :

The thing is that if i run this report from Other ->Request -> Run of the same module this raport runs correctly
And if i change the output of my report (From concurrent manager) to text its open correctly even from there where i want to open it.
Can anyone give me any sugestion why i get this error while i try to open this xml publisher report from a button in a form in application?
PS: i am using ebs 11.5 version

Unable to find AP transaction journals in GL

Hello,
I have a situation where AP transactions (invoices/payments) are accounted for in AP and appear in the Posted Invoice/Payment Register, however we are unable to locate them in GL (Period-May). This happened right after month end close (May) and it is not clear whether these transactions were accounted for before or after the month was closed in AP. Now June is still not open in GL and we are unable to find the journal entries in GL May. Could someone explain what may have happened here?

While referring the Oracle documentation : Bookshelf v8.1/8.2: About the Sample Rulebase, There was a mention of using the IO PUB Sample Intake but I was unable to find the same in any Oracle Installation. Also If we have to create the IO by ourselves I did not find many of the BC mentioned in the table Table 15. Entities in the Sample Rulebase. The below 9 BC were specifically not present.

I see you are confused between using ra_interface_lines_all and API. The AR Invoice can be created in two method.
1. Using Autoinvoice interface a open interface program. For this you need to populate ra_interface_lines_all and ra_interface_distributions_all (if you are not using auto accounting) interface tables and then submit the Autoinvoice Master program, a interface program to load the AR invoices. Once the program completes, the errors will be stored in ra_interface_errors_all table.
2. Second method is to use the API. If you are using API, no interface table will be used to and errors will not be stored in interface tables. You can use the following routine to get the errors.

Photoshop unable to find Java script plugin

Since the last ACR update to PSCS6, I am unable to browse in Bridge or Mini Bridge and I get the error message "Could not complete the Browse in Bridge Command because Photoshop was unable to find the JavaScript plugin". When I try to open mini bridge, it will open but there is the error message: "Could not complete the command because the extension could not be loaded". I have tried a system restore and read all of the posts related to this error but no one seems to come up with an answer. I tried pasting the .dll files recommended in another post but that did not help. I tried the suggestion to run PS as an administrator but that did not work. I have searched the web, many people have this problem but very few answers, as per usual with Adobe. Using PSCS6 x64 with Windows7x64. Need help!
