Unable to install and also unable to uninstall

I am trapped in an infinite installation loop. Well, not exactly.
I am unable to re-install my IDE and relevant servers. The log indicates that the installation is being skipped because the studio, etc. is already installed. I have tried cleaning the registry, and everything. Where is this information hiding from me so that I may re-install this prduct?

thank you so very much. i was able to find the pdf i needed for uninstalling. it was a file left in the windows\system32 directory that was the culprit.
now, if i could just upgrade the jdk from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2... :-)

Problems with current version of AIR. Won't load and also can't uninstall

I have recently purchased a new Mac and loaded the most recent version of AIR but now when I try to run it I keep getting the following message
This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which cannot be found.
Please download the latest version of the runtime from
http://www.adobe.com/go/getair,
or contact the application author for an updated version.
I am also getting this message when I try and run the uninstaller so I can I can try and re-install.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I had AIR 3 on my MacBook Pro before I updated it to Lion. I use AIR 3 to run McMillan Study guides Master your CDCs. when I updated my mac to lion and tried to run the application the application couldn't find AIR 3 on my mac. So I uninstalled it and tried to install it again. when I tried to install it the installer program doesn't open. please help me this program is crucial for my upgrade training.

Is this the error you are getting when you are installing AIR 3.0? Or is this the error you are getting after you've already installed AIR 3.0 and attempting to run AIR applications? If it's the latter, which applications are you trying to run? Can you please send us your logs so that we can investigate further? Thanks!

If I try to remove the printer icon I get a warning access denied and then the printer is off line and cant be restored to default or used / I had to restored windows and now are able to print / fax / copy but still no scan
I then followed to the letter un plugging the printer / removing all drivers which I don't think worked / re installing from the web site / only to be told down load unsuccessful with a red cross next to the driver downloads
So nothing seems to work / I tried the suggestions for Waseemulla / Sandeep still nothing

Unable to Install and run iTunes

After downloading and installing iTunes from Apple.com, it does not work. The error message shows unable to read memory at some address. I had used the repair option when I tried to re install it also. Still the problem lies. How do I resolve the problem? If anyone can resolve this kindly send me a mail at [email protected]

Checking on something before proceeding. What are the numbers being cited there for the address?
Can you also check to see if your QuickTime is working? (iTunes needs a functioning QuickTime in order to work correctly, and sometimes a broken QuickTime can produce error messages similar to what you are reporting when trying to launch iTunes.)

i hope there is someone here that can help me. i've recently upgraded to 10.4.11. There was a problem with safari, which i learned was related to Adobe Flash player. part of the fix is to uninstall the flash player. I downloaded the uninstaller and ran it. I noticed the progress bar didn't even move, it stayed at 0 for over 15 mins. I had to force quite the application.
I then tried running just the adobe flash installer. Similar problem.
the uninstaller and installers that were downloaded are both made for PowerPC macs.
Is there something wrong with my mac? someone please help me. i can't watch youtube or go to any flash heavy sites.

Unable to clear java cache and also unable to load JAVA Applets when QTP installed in PC

Hi,
I am facing a problem when QTP 11.0 along with Java 6 Update 22 and Java Plugin installed in the PC. The Java Applets are not being loaded in the webpages, when I try to load it through QTP, but when I try to load the applets manually that is working fine. Can anyone suggest any kind of solution for this. All the setup was being run on 32-bit and 64- bit PC's.

start the weblogic server with the command startWeblogic. And then start the SOA server from Admin console.This is the issue. For starting servers from console, you need to configure node manager. Start SOA servers from command line using command startManagedWeblogic (as mentioned in Quick Start Guide for BAM server).

Creative Cloud unable to install and Cleaner Tool crashes

Hi.
I really need help. I am working on three different projects i Adobe Premiere CC and I am also using AE and Audition. A few days ago they all stopped working when I started my computer. When I tried to start Creative Cloud it was just a blank window that showed up, In other words it didn't load anything. And when I tried to open Premiere or the other two applications that I had installed nothing happened. I went to the folder the programs should be installed in and pressed the icon there and a small window with a warning text showed up. It said something like: This application is either gone or moved so that it can't be found. So I tried uninstalling all CC programs, used the Cleaner Tool, rebooted the computer and installed everything again, but as soon as I rebooted the computer again it was all the same as before. After doing this a couple of times and searching around the internet without finding anything that helped I decided to format my computer and do a clean install of windows. I am using windows 7 by the way. Now I tried to download Creative Cloud and installing it again but all of a sudden that won't work at all. This window pops up instead:

I am not a computer genius but I am skilled enough to usually being able to figure out what's wrong and fix it.
Everything worked fine before. I'm not paying money for Creative Cloud if all these problems keep happening!

The crashes probably mean that a specifc DLL is missing. Install the MSVC 8,9 and 10 runtimes from Microsoft manually.

Miscrosoft Security Essentials is making Excel not respond and also unable to print, or open up Devices or printers too

I have isolated the problem to Microsoft Security Essentials - when I open Excel it hangs and tells me that the program is not responding, I cannot print any more and I cannot open Devices and Printers, it just spools the green line at the top.
I went to MSE > Settings > Real Time Protection and turned off the tick box. I was then able to access Excel normally and likewise open Devices and Printers.
I re-booted and then found that MSE had ticked itself back and that I was again unable to access Excel and unable to access Devices etc.
What do I do to fix this?
I also before doing this ran Excel without Addins, I also checked that my Windows updates were up to date, I also created another user for my machine, I also scanned pc from the command prompt - neither of these had any effect. I am convinced that MSE is
the issue, but what do I do? I cannot run it without real time protection can I?

Did you point to the tick box as below?
If yes, did this issue occur for one specific Excel file or all Excel file? I consider the root is not the MSE.
I suggest you turn on this protection to avoid being attacked.
You could make it to be trusted and turn off protect view:

Unable to install (and or) launch Aperture

I purchased Aperture 1.5 today, installed it and launched for the 1st run. It crashed. I then tried to install update (to 1.5.6). Update could not be installed ... I then removed all of the Aperture files, including the application and re-installed everything. I did not launch Aperture, but tried to update to 1.5.6 first. Update could not be installed this time either. Were did it (all) go wrong ? Looks ridiculous to invest more than 5000 euro in a computer and not being able to run an application labeled as professional ... Who can help ? Any suggestion is welcome.

I can't launch Aperture after re-installation on my iMac G5 a new MacOS Leopard. It is not possible to update Aperture using automatic update. The system sends me a message that there is no digital signature found in my original Aperture software files (I don't use a copy) and it can not be launched and/or an update can not be installed. What to do???? PERHAPS I WILL GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS MacOS X Tiger version on my iMac (Aperture worked without any problems). Very similar probvlems I have found also in case of Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 (it works even more funny, sometimes Excell and Word launch and after few minutes disappear from the screen).

Unable to install iTunes 8 or to uninstall old version of iTunes

I have an old version of iTunes (more than two years) and wish to install iTunes 8. However, I am neiher able to install the latest version of iTunes or uninstall the old one. When I try the windows uninstall program, I get the error message that the path to AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi cannot be found. It appears the update has not taken effect, but I cannot find the above update file to do that. Thoughts much apprecitated.

Install the Windows Installer Cleanup tool and remove the entries for :
. Apple Software Update
. Bonjour
. Quicktime
. iTunes
Then, the installation program will work correctly !
1 day lost for that.
Thansk Mr Apple to fix your installation procedure ! It is too much fragile !
and remember that temporary directories are made to be cleaned up !

Unable to install iTunes 5.0, cannot uninstall apple software updater

I am trying to update iTunes from ver 10.3.3 to 15.5.1.4 with no luck!! I can d/l the file, wneh it goes to install it through the update tool, I get an error saying the resource is unavailable, i have searched my entire hard drive for the file "applesoftwareupdate.msi" and its not here. Trying to remove it will not work either due to missing file. I have tried to manually remove the software tool with no luck. I am using windows xp. Is there anything i can do before i go through the grueling task of doing a full windows recovery?? Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Unable tu install and use Adobe Digital Editions

I don't think there is a way out.
You could use it for non-DRM books without authorizing, but there are much better options (such as the free Calibre) for that anyway. http://calibre-ebook.com/
If you make a temporary internet connection, then once authorized, you should not need internet access to read books you have got elsewhere and copied to it.

Unable to install and use apps that i previously bought for 2nd gen touch as they all require iOS 4.3.

Just found out that majority of the apps that i previously purchased and worked with my 2nd gen ipod touch with iOS 4.2.1, will not work as they are incompatible because the required iOS is 4.3. They worked before and now i have apps that i bought just sitting there being unused because they require an iOS update which 2g touchs have been at 4.2.1 forever. Thanks for taking my money and the apps that i paid for, and now are unusable on my ipod touch, and im def not going to be buying a new one just to use the apps.

They were installed before my ipod got its screen repaired, i restored it, and when i got it back i re downloaded all the apps from my purchased section, and only a few were able to be installed, i didnt see any app updates for requirements until they didnt work
