Hi,
I am unable to load the data from PSA to Cube using DTP in the quality system for the first time
I am getting the error like" Data package processing terminated" and "Source TRCS 2LIS_17_NOTIF is not allowed".
Please suggest .

Some Infoobjects are missing while collecting the transport.
I collected those objects and transported ,now its working fine.

Document will be of ASCII characters right?? but image data will be in binary format. as per database concept it is stored as binary large object. But in datawarehousing the back end is also going to be some database such as Oracle or other DBs.
which can take blob's. so it would be possible to store the binary data.
If any one has faced this situation can reply.to this ques.
can post the step to load image(jpg/bmp or any image format) data in to info cube??

You would need some sort of EEPROM programmer. Typically might
communicate with it via serial. I don't know how you would do this in
LV. You would need to have the command protocol for the programming
device to start with.

When I copy and paste the data from a web site in to excel, it comes in one big splurge - ie it is not 'delimited' - and I can't see how to delimit the data into cells. In Explorer, the data is delimited. Any clues ? John

In ASO cubes you can only load data at level 0 (=leaf level). Every upload to aggregated dimension members are ignored. The warning message "ignore update to derived cells" is meaning that you are trying to load data at node level. As this is not possible with ASO cubes, essbase ignores that data.

Unable to load master data to cube

Hi,
I have one master data 0PART which is referenced by 0Activity Type master data.
I have added 0PART chara into one infocube. and wrote abap code in update rule as below:
data:    begin of i_acttype occurs 0,
                0PART like /BI0/PACTTYPE-ACTTYPE,
          end of i_acttype.
select ACTTYPE into table i_acttype
        from /bi0/pacttype
    for all entries in DATA_PACKAGE
       where objvers   = 'A' and
             acttype = DATA_PACKAGE-PART.
The reason behind adding this code is,
Cube is populating from ODS and in ODS data comes from R/3 but standard extractor dont populate this field so i am trying to load it from master data.
when i try to load data into info cube it gets stuck in update rule. it reads the data but not transfering it to cube. so i believe that there is some problem in my code. in monitor i can see that it starts processing update for cube and ends immediately without any error message. process status ends but shows request is still running.
can someone correct it for me ?

Hi
You are just populating the internal table with the records using the select but no code to write the record to the part field of the cube. Im not very good in ABAP but you can try adding the below code and see if it works or not.
data: begin of i_acttype occurs 0,

Unable to load LabVIEW VI into TestStand using LV Run Time only

I'm unable to load some of my VIs into TestStand from LabVIEW. I am using:
TestStand 4.2.1
LabVIEW 2010
I have the appropriate patches installed for both TestStand and LabVIEW, and I still get the error.
Attached is a message that I get when I hover over the "!" to explain my error. The VI has the "Simple Error Handler.vi" as part of the build, and when I eliminate this VI from my VI, TestStand then loads correctly.

This fixed my issue as well. Thank you for posting this. I have repaired LabVIEW 2010 sp1, LabVIEW FPGA, LabVIEW RT, DAQmx, and VISA 5.0. These are not small programs to do repairs on. Even after doing all of these repairs I still had issues with just labview coming up.
Just by clicking on my lv shortcut to run the labview.exe I would get a loading screen for gws_int.vi This was before opening any projects or VI's. Labview was having many issues. Once the loading vi screen went away the standard labview 2010 startup page was present. But this page was dysfunctional. For example if you clicked tools and then options it would just totally crash LabVIEW, no error message or warning.
Many people are suggesting to mass compile to fix this, but that is not an option. If you went to tools>advance>mass compile the same loading vi screen would come up (pic A), but then the mass compile program would have a broken arrow (pic b) I included a image to show people this.
The error list will always pop up, but there are no errors.
I called NI tech support and they suggested that I repair all of my programs starting with the largest programs first. During the repairs I found this forum. I have over 30 different NI modules installed on this machine, I would have been at this for the next two days.
Thank you very much for this.
A good question is why didn't the repairs of these large programs find this, and would any repair of any module have fixed this?

Error Loading Transactional Data into Cube(0PCA_C01)

Hi Guys,
I am trying to Install the following cubes from Business Content. 0PCA_C01 / 0PCA_C02 (Profit Center Analysis). Everything got replicated. I am trying to load transaction data now. I created Infopackage and loaded the data. Its running for a long time. It still says " not yet completed/warning ". If i try to see the content of the cube, I am getting the following errors.
"Your user master record is not sufficiently maintained for object Authorization Object3.
System error: RSDRC / FORM AUTHORITY_CHECK USER NOT AUTHORIZED 0PCA_C01 0PCA_C01
System error: RSDRC / FUNC RSDRC_BASIC_CUBE_DATA_GET ERROR IN RSDRC_BASIC_QUERY_DATA_GET 0PCA_C01 64
System error: RSDRC / FORM DATA_GET ERROR IN RSDRC_BASIC_CUBE_DATA_GET 0PCA_C01 64"
Also if i try to change something in the infopackage, it says "Init. select. for field name currently running in". I guess its because the job is still running.
Please let me know if i missed something.

This seems to be an authorization case.
i guess you are in BW Dev system.
Go to SU01. Enter your user id and display.Go to Tabs ROle and PRofile.
Ideally in development, a developers id shud have access to all devevlopment activities. So check with basis folks and get access to the relevant profiles. If you can get SAP_ALL, then perfect!!

Iam uploading the Data Using Excel sheet.TCode:qp01.
Upto 3 screens the data is passing in a very fine manner.
From the fourth screen I'v to enter the Lineitem for a single material.
Ex: Matnr is PJBRIX.
For this material upto 3 screens the data is same ,but from the line item data,the PJBRIX has 3 characterstics.
How can I upload that data.
Structure:

Hi Amit,
This conversion problem. Calender not maintained for Fiscal variant "V3", for Year: 1008.
Maintain calender for year: 1008 and transfer global setting from soruce(R/3).
RSA1--> Source systems --> from context menu --> transfer global settings > choose fiscal year variants and calender> execute

hello experts,
I am using the GUI_DOWNLOAD fm to download the data in to excell sheet on to the desktop but here i am getting some problem
For some of the fields i put constant values like '004' or '001' when it is downloaded the data into to .xls its removing the leading zeros.. and just downloading the values as 4 or 1
can anyone guide me how to hold those leading zeros
its bit urgent plz

Job cancelled While loading data from DSO to CUBE using DTP

Hi All,
while i am loading data frm DSO to CUBE the job load is getting cancelled.
in the job overview i got the following messages
SYST: Date 00/01/0000 not expected.
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE
wt can be the reason for this error as i have successfully loaded data into 2 layers of DSO before loading the data into the CUBE

Are u loading the flat file to DSO?
then check the data in the PSA in the date field and replace with the correct date.
i think u r using write optimised DSO which is similar to PSA it will take all the data from PSA to DSO.
so clear the data in PSA and then load to DSO and then to CUBE.
If u dont need a date field in CUBE then remove the mapping in transformation in cube and activate and make DTP activate and trigger it it will work.
