I am using Microsoft outlook and I am unable to open any attachment in any email. It seems like abode is not set as my default maybe

What exactly means "unable" - what happens when you try?
Does the attachment show the Adobe Reader logo?

FB03 unable to open attachment list

Hi SAP members
I got the issue in which for FB03 unable to open attachment as it was maintained in the respective table.
Goto FB03 > ENVIRONMENT > ADDITIONAL ASSIGNMENTS > OBJECT LINKS and a popup appears in which attachment is available but double click on it nothing happens
Please let me know whether it is a functional issue or Technical Issue.

I am agreeing the Dev Patra's answer. Because it would be because of missing authorization roles also. Please execute SU53 after checking the above FB03 path.Then you will get the missing objects list to that t code.

First i would suggest update Reader to XI.
To set the default application you may visit this article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/change-default-programs#1TC=windows-7 this article is for windows 7 but it will hold good for vista too.

Unable to open / view Hotmail Email attachments - Palm Treo 750 Windows Mobile 6 Professional

I recently upgraded the Operating system to Windows Mobile 6 Professional.
To access personal Email I select Start and Internet Explorer. My homepage is: http://home.mobile.msn.com
I select Hotmail and my Inbox opens listing my Emails. The address is http://mobile.live.com/hm/folder
After I open one of the Email messages I see the text. I select view header and I get: This message contains attachments followed by the file name (ie: filesname.doc) I cannot click on the filename. How do I open / view the attachments?

HI, I bought a used Treo 750 adn on it i am able to use Msn and therefore get my hotmail BUT am unable o brosw thorugh IE or send/recive MMS. Tried browisng and MMSing on other set it works. So my Cellualr agent told me to get the software re installed I mean Updated version of Windows . Mine has windows 5.0. So where do i get this newwer version? Do i just downlaod from teh internet ?can you pls guie since you have already installed it.

suddenly today i am unable to open url link from my eudora mail program. firefox is my default browser. never had this problem before.

Unable to open attached documents in emails with Adobe Reader 9

I get emails with attachments but when i try to open, i keep getting a warning saying .... ADOBE READER CAN NOT OPEN DOCUMENT BECAUSE IT IS EITHER NOT SUPPORTED FILE TYPE OR FILE HAS BEEN DAMAGED.....etc. I presumed that as the attachments were most likely WORD documents (and I only have Microsoft WORKS) that this was the reason. So i downloaded the free Microsoft Word reader but still unable to read. I send the emails to friends to open and they send them back to me.....Its becomming a bit annoying for them understandly....Can anyone help me...Many thanks

By email client I mean the email program: Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, ...
But anyway, this is of no importance; it is your file association that is wrong: Word documents (.doc, .docx) must be associated with Word, or in your case Word Viewer, not Adobe Reader. This is why you cannot view your attachments.
On the other hand, the installation of Word Viewer should have corrected that, not sure why it didn't.
What I would do if I encountered your situation:
uninstall Adobe Reader and Word Viewer
reinstall Adobe Reader and Word Viewer

Are you getting a black screen? If that is the problem launch Firefox, then near the clock there will be a 4 arrow icon, click it and select "Stretch to fill screen" and restart the tablet. This will correct an issue with Android improperly suggesting Zoom to fill screen for Firefox.

Need to ask question - I cannot open email attachments - wmw files. What opens up is a screen of "gibberish" - why is this?
I used both apple mail and entourage.. and with both.. I cannot open the attachments. Is there a program I need to download.

Unable to open Numbers doc emailed to myself from my iPad.

I am trying to open Numbers sheets I emailed myself from my iPad. I receive an error message saying I need a newer version to open and I can get that in the app store. When I go to the app store and click "buy" I am asked if I want to continue because the software already exists on this computer (yet an older version, 9) and was not purchased in the app store. So I do not know how to proceed. I don't want to lose what I have in my computer software and I don't what to have two numbers on my computer. Please help if you can. I need to get some work done.

iWork (no 's') for iOS & iWork for Mac have not gone away.
iWork.com (beta) (also no 's') is going away the end of July. iWork.com (beta) is/was an online method of sharing iWork files with other users & never moved out of beta in 3+ years. It is a completely different entity than the iWork apps & is not & never has been necessary for the iWork apps to function.
A Numbers document, as well as Pages or Keynote documents, cannot be opened on a PC. You must first export them to a file that a PC can use. For Numbers that is generally Excel. In Numbers on your iPad tap the wrench & then tap Share & Print & choose Excel as the file type.
As for transfering a file from a PC to an iPad, I'm not sure as I don't use a PC.

Please try cleaning out the Temporary Outlook Files folder and then test again. To do this, please follow:
1. Exit Outlook.
2. Open the registry editor and navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Security
3. Find and open the OutlookSecureTempFolder registry key.
4. Copy the path from the key and paste it to address bar of the Windows Explorer. Press Enter.
5. Clean out everything in the folder and restart Outlook to test again.

Ever since I upgraded my iPad to IOS6, I have been unable to get into my work email, which is through Google. No problems before update.

Downgrading to an older iOS version is not supported on iOS devices.
Make sure that you have downloaded all of the updates for your apps and see if that helps.
Try this as well. if the Apple apps are working OK and it is the third party App Store apps that are crashing - try downloading another app - any free app. See if that helps.
You said that you reset the iPad but you may have to restore your iPad to factory settings and then to a backup if you can't resolve the problem.
