I installed my purchased copy of PhotoShop Elements 11 on my work computer (PC unfortunately running VISTA OS). When I open the program I get a license agreement page for Organizer. I click Accept and it opens the same page. It continues to open this agreement page every time I click ACCEPT.

Hi,
I used Adobe Application Manager to install Photoshop in my system (OS: Windows XP)
After the installation process was complete, I tried to launch the program but i got an error message: "The Procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"
What should i be doing? Please Guide me.

This error usually comes up when you are using a program that requires a version of windows later than Windows XP Service Pack 1

Can't open Photoshop after installing Yosemite

Hi all, Not sure if this in the right place? I've got a Macbook Pro and have recently just installed the Yosemite operating system. After installing it, I have tried to open Photoshop but it is not allowing me to do so. Photoshop tells me to install Java 6.0 - even though I've already done this twice! Can anyone advise please?

Did you delete Photoshop's preferences before re-installing? If you didn't, then you ended up rightwhere you started after re-installing. Uninstalling and re-installing does not delete the corrupted preference files.
In addition, do not forget what I said:

Finally, apply all the available updates again, as the re-install wil instal the ancient, original CS5 version.
Have you actually done all of this as already instructed in this thread? If not, then please do not post again until you have done so.

Unable to open iPhoto after installing Mavericks and latested iPhoto Version.

I have just installed Mavericks onto my Macbook Pro. The next thing I did was purchase, download and install the most recent version of iPhoto. The previous version of iPhoto was '09 Vers. 8.1.2.
I have about 300gb’s of images in my iPhoto library, which are on an external HD. When I try to launch iPhoto, I get a message saying the iPhoto library must be upgraded. So, I click on ‘upgrade’,and either a white screen with a large icon of a folder appears, but nothing else happens. One other time, before I clicked on upgrade, a gray screen with a scrolling gear appeared, but once again… nothing happens. I still can not access any of the images in my iPhoto library.
How do I get the new iPhoto version to play nice with my images?

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Genieo adware is installed without your knowledge. You have to remove it.

I had a user with the same issue after updates and I was able to resolve.
I copied QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
I did so after uninstalling and re-installin, but I don't beleive that was necesssary. Thanks to user thurdy. This fix was from apple support for the error "iTunes stopped working". Figured I'd give a shot and it ended up working.
For reference the user was receiving the following errors exactly:
"the procedure entry point ?fastfree@***@@YAXPAX@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library JavaScriptCore.dll"
and
"iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error127)"

Unable to open Pages after new hard drive

I am unable to open pages after recently having to get my hard drive replaced. I have a time machine that I could get the application/files off of, but when I try to open it it comes up with the message:
"Check with the developer to make sure Pages works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to re install the application. Be sure to install updates for the application and MAC OS X"
I have done all the software updates possible for both MAC OS and iworks compatibility, and nothing has worked. I do not have the original CD with me, so I cannot reinstall. Is there any other way to get the working version of the application off of my time machine?

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.

The keyword is "migration." Migrating or copying files for Adobe applications usually does not work. Not all of the necessary subsidiary files are copied to the right location.
You'll need to first clean up the mess with this tool:

after installing the update for iTunes, it doesn't run (comp makes noises but nothing comes up on screen). when i open task manager itunes is running as a process, but i can't end process.
hmmm. okay, Norton is still our prime suspect here. that "running itunes.exe process that will not die" symptom is associated with the nastier versions of the NIS 2005 launch suppression problems. (people who get that also often see things like looooooong sloooooow shutdown times on the PCs and odd end program dialog boxes.)
let's try throwing the trusty Lorraine M technique at the beast. (it usually fixes the nastier versions of the NIS 2005 problems.)
