Unable to open Store after updating KB2919355

Hi
I updated the my Windows 8.1 Pro with KB2919355 (798MB)
on 25-Apr-2014 and after that I am unable to open Windows Store.
I tried to use the following methods
1.   (a) Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML
      (b) start "" "ms-windows-store:"
2. wsreset through Windows+R and also through Command Prompt (Admin)
3. Windows App Trouble-shooter
Each of the methods followed by restart.
Finally,
1.  I am unable to open the Windows store
2.  Running the store hangs-up the system
Also tried the Microsoft's Live chat but could not get any solution.
Please suggest if there is any solution.

    I had a user with the same issue after updates and I was able to resolve. 
    I copied QTMovieWin.dll from:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
    I did so after uninstalling and re-installin, but I don't beleive that was necesssary.  Thanks to user thurdy.  This fix was from apple support for the error "iTunes stopped working".  Figured I'd give a shot and it ended up working.
    For reference the user was receiving the following errors exactly:
    "the procedure entry point ?fastfree@***@@YAXPAX@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library JavaScriptCore.dll"
    and
    "iTunes was not installed correctly.  Please reinstall iTunes.  Error 7 (Windows error127)"

    I ran an system update today, and I am now unable to open JPEGs. For example, nitrogen can set PNGs as the current wallpaper, but not JPEGs. In the terminal, the error:

    During the update, libjpeg-turbo was installed, and I am wondering if this might have something to do with this.
    Anyone have suggestions?

    Could you please rebuild one of those programs which doesn't work anymore against libjpeg-turbo? In case that solves the problem, it would be very helpful for Allan to know. But in my opinion this is definitely something for the bugtracker!

    Do note that the updater saved the iWork '09 apps in a separate folder. Also, note that the new ones are crippled to match up with their iOS counterparts; i.e., dumbed down. See these for details:

    Same as you would do with any battery issue before you updated:  restore the phone as NEW, not using backup at all.

    Use iTune to update your apps.
    Check for Updates (bottom right) in iTune. When download is completed, sync to iPad.

    I am unable to open pages after recently having to get my hard drive replaced. I have a time machine that I could get the application/files off of, but when I try to open it it comes up with the message:
    "Check with the developer to make sure Pages works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to re install the application. Be sure to install updates for the application and MAC OS X"
    I have done all the software updates possible for both MAC OS and iworks compatibility, and nothing has worked. I do not have the original CD with me, so I cannot reinstall. Is there any other way to get the working version of the application off of my time machine?

    Enter mac App Store and check if it state that Pages is installed on your machine.
    If it does, you may download Pages 4.0.5 thru this channel for free.

    Assuming that you aren't far from your original DVD for a long time, you may remove every files related to iWork '09 with my uninstall script

    download and install the trial version,
    don't run it
    Trigger Software Update to download and install the required updater.
    I apologize but I don't remember if the updater 9.0.5 apply the entire required changes.
    After that you will have an up to date package which you will be able to use during 30 days.
    When you will be back home, re-apply my uninstaller
    install the package from your DVD
    don't run the apps
    Trigger Software Update to download and install the required updater.
    After that you will have an up to date full time package.

  • I am unable to open the latest update (10.4) iTunes not properly configured

    when I attempt to open it says iTunes was not properly configured and then close - I can't reinstall 10.2 since 10.4 in installed; it won't repair because mid-way thorugh it pops up "itunesresources is not an accessible file... make sure you have access to this file" and stops the repair.
    any thoughts?
    I HAVE used 10.4 since upgrading - I shut down my computer; when I rebooted a few days later, this is what happened...

    It sounds like you are unable to open iTunes after installing a recent update. I would recommend the troubleshooting in the following article:

    Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
    Check for .dll files
    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
    If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
    Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
    Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
    Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    The keyword is "migration." Migrating or copying files for Adobe applications usually does not work. Not all of the necessary subsidiary files are copied to the right location.
