Unable to remove/hide help icon in Discussion Service OOTB

Hi,
Is there any way to remove/hide help icon from Discussion Service OOTB toolbar ?
I am not able to find help icon tag in ListTopics.jsff and ListMessages.jsff fragment file.

In order to display custom training PDF, an alternative approach could be to make use of workbench channel "Links". You can store the custom PDF on intranet and display the link under links channel.

Unable to reply and forward mail from discussion services in webcenter spac

Hi All,
I am Mustaque.
Currently i m working on oracle webcenter 11g. I am not able to reply and forward discussion topics from webcenter spaces. Its throwing error msg :
Failed to send the message with subject "Hi". Further information: 550 No verifiable sender address in message headers.
Will anybody help me?

Removing help icon from LoginProvider

I am new to Sun Portal Server 7.1 Update 1, and am looking for a way to remove the 'help' icon from the LoginProvider for the devauthlessanonymous user. I am making use of the Developer's Sample portal that comes bundled with the product, and want to eliminate all icons that appear in providers/containers/channels.
Within PSConsole, for the have updated the helpURL property to be "" instead of the default en/desktop/login.htm, per the Portal Server 7.1 Technical Reference guide. After doing so, the icon remains but instead directs the user to login to the web server doc root (e.g. /porta/docs).
Are there any other parent provider/container/channel helpURL fields that I need to update as well, or do I need to enter a different value for the helpURL field in the LoginProvider for the devauthlessanonymous user?

Remove Help Icon

I am customizing the TopBar View and I was wondering how you would remove the help icon?? I want to keep the link but not have the image.

What I usually do is check the element in the browser's developer tools - for e.g. Chrome's "Inspect Element". This way I can identify the id of the element in the ADF Faces source file (.jsff).
In the folderViewer case the element id was "cilhelp" and the tag in the .jsff is below

Instead of removing the music from the cloud or the iTunes library why not shuffle your music using a Smart Playlist which excludes the holiday music, or tracks that are not checked. For example, use this very simple Smart Playlist:

Unable to find help icon

I need help with putting the help icon back on my phone. I have looked everywhere and it is gone. I have tried sending the service books to my phone and I have tried reregistering my phone, nothing has worked. Please help.

Did you delete this Help application or just made its icon hidden ?
If you've made it hidden - open menu and select "Show All".
All hidden icons will be shown in gray colors.
If you wish to un-hide a gray icon and turn it in color - select it, open menu over it, and remove check-mark "Hide" in menu.
If you have deleted Help application - the only way to return it back is reinstall the device OS.

Probably to hide the collapse and expand icon you could go about with the theme editor , where u can set the url to these images as some blank image that coincides with ur background colour.
To have a fixed navigation panel without scrolling ,probably you can change the the width of the navigation panel by changing the value defaultExpWidth in the file WAandNAVPanel.js file in the par file com.sap.layouts.framework.par from 220 pixels to a higher value.Later u need to upload the file back and restart ur system.

But jquery increses overhead for just small thing.
So put something like this in your <head> section of master page

display: none !important;
</style>

How do I remove the Box icon from the menu bar?

I have an account on Box, which is a sync program.
Before the last Box updated, I could hide its icon from the menu bar, but now it is not possible and I really don't want it there.
I have tried to drag it out of there, by pressing CMD and dragging, but nothing happens.
Is there any other way to remove it?

Apple TV unable to remove tv shows from favorites

After the latest upgrade I am unable to remove tv shows from favorites and when I rearrange the icons they go back to the previous order after a few minutes. Is anyone having this issue? Any ideas on a resolution or is this just another of the many bugs in the latest release?

Unable to remove Nokia Multi Media Transfer software

I have tried unsuccessfully to download Nokia Multimedia Transfer. I have also tried unsuccessfully to remove it.
When I startup my iMac the Nokia application is open waiting to setup Bluetooth. I have tried to do this but still to no avail. I am unable to remove the icon from the desktop.
There is no icon in the Applications folder in the Dock.
The operating system is OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Can you help me please?

There are 3 methods to remove an app. First is look to see if the developer (Nokia in your example) has an uninstaller, if they do, use it. Next is you drag the app to the Trash. Finally you can use a third party utility such as AppCleaner, Google it. My recommendation is to search for an unistaller before trying another method.
