Unable to send the data entered in sap portal

Hi
All
i am trying to configure and test Leave Request from portal. When, we create the leave request and submit for the first time, it is giving the error/message Unable to send the data entered However, if do a submit for the second time, the same leave request, it sends the leave request.
Please share your valuable thoughts or solutions.Thanks in advance.

Hi Rafi,
We are also facing similar kind of issue.
When i select type of leave as annual it is giving an error message as
" Parameter missing in call of method BUILD_ACTOR_SELECT_CLAUSE in class CA_PT_REQ_ACTOR "
But when i select some other leave type and click review it is working fine, again if i click on previous step and change the leave type to annual it is working fine without giving any error message.

We have install SAP netweaver EHP1 standalone java on oracle 10.2.0.5 on windows 2008 R2.
while installation i have given the central SLD system as solman,
By mistake i have deleted the system from SMSY.. now when i createed the system manually i am unable to change the data resource as SLD due to this i can start my SMD configuration

Hi Paresh,
You can proceed with deleting your SAP system from SMSY (along with connected technical content such as AS Java definition) and the run the LANDSCAPE FETCH through transaction SMSY_SETUP to have the correct definition of your SAP system in SMSY.
Following this, you could use the addon Landscape Verification (a new thing I learnt today!!!) to check the correctness of transaction SMSY. The following link details the Landscape verification 1.0 for SolMan:

How Can i send the data entered in Input text fields to e-mail?

Iam Jennifer, Iam having a doubt in Flash, I hope that you

Error while sending the data using input schedule

Dear Friends,
I am unable to send the data using input schedule due to following error is occur while sending the data.
The Error Message : Member (H1) of dimension (ENTITY) is not a base member (parent or formula)
Can anyone please help me to resolve the above error.

Hi,
You are trying to send data to a parent/node, you can only send data in BPC to lowest-level children (base mamabers) of any dimension.
"H1" is a parent in the entity dimension so you should try sending to a child.

Iam unable to send mails to outlook from sap system through work flow .Actually we r able to send mails from sap inbox to outlook successfully.But when trying with workflow we r not able to send.Please guide me that is there any configurations required from BASIS side for work flow.Actually we configured everything like default domain .

Hello,
Actually i checked the mail ID for WF-BATCH using su01 .But i didnt find any mail ID for WF-BATCH then i added the email address of the user.Then we tried sending mail it was successfull.
But later i removed the email address what i entered in WF-BATCH user .Even after removing the email address also iam able to send the mails through workflow.
So iam confused whether it needs an mail address or not.But now we are able to send a mail to outlook through work flow but not able to send mails to GMAILor yahoo.For that we need to do any settings.
ABAPer is sending mails through work flow.

Hope you are using Classic WHT for your company code in country GB.
And the Classic WHT tcode XX was maintained in customer master data, but the same code would have been deleted from the system. Since these line items to be cleared also, stored that tax code only. So you are getting this erro in F-04.
So you need to create the above said tax code in OBA7 and then you will be able to clear the customer line items with F-04.

'unable to send print data' on HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP

Hi there,
I'm running an iMac with OSX 10.6.8. Via an USB cable I have attached a HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP to the iMac.
I also use this printer to print via wifi (i.e. through the iMac) with my MacBook Pro (with OSX 10.7.3).
Suddenly today the printer stopped working via my MacBook Pro. I get an error message: 'unable to send print data'.
I have checked my antivirus etc., but that does not appear to be the problem. I have also updated the firmware of the printer, without success.
Can somebody help me out? Is the OS difference the problem? But until today that hasn't been a problem.

I understand you lost connection with the network for the Laserjet 1536 through ethernet connection.
Disconnect the routers power cable, wait 10 seconds, then reconnect the power cable. Wait till it's ready. The router might not be finding the printer on the network.
If this doesn't resolve the issue continue to the next steps.
Print a configuration report from the LaserJet 1536dnf.
Press the Setup button, (the one with the wrench on it)
reports, press OK, Config Report, press OK.
Check to see if the ip address is valid.
If you have a valid ip address then delete and add the printer on the mac, the driver might have become corrupted.
Delete printer on mac.
Click on the Apple, click System & Preferences,then click the Print & Scan icon (on some systems this may be displayed as Print & Fax),highlight your printer name and click the button on the bottom left corner of the screen.
Add printer on the mac.
Click on the Apple, click System & Preferences, and then click the Print & Scan icon (on some systems this may be displayed as Print & Fax),click add a printer, then select the printer from the list, make sure the printer listed beside use or print: shows proper printer name and not airprint, (airprint is a preinstalled apple driver with basic funtionality if on 10.8) add it in.
If the ip address is not valid please let me know.

Problem with interface - when send the data for PA0002

I am interfacing employees data from one system to another system with all the PA infotypes.
we are using the fuction module " HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA " to upload the master data. Here the problem is, when we send the data - in destination system all the segments have the data correctly . But middle name is not loaded in to the system. Problem with only middle name.
But, here strange thing is, when i resend the idocs it is laoded correctly all the fields with middle name also.
I am unable to figure out the problem .. Please let me know if you have any advise on this ..

ABAP Proxies to send the data to PI

I have a scenario to send some data from ECC to Legacy system in flatfile format. I would like to use ABAP client proxies on the ECC side and File receiver adapter to tranmit the data to Legacy system.
I tried various sample scenarios and know how to send simple data using ABAP report program(which triggers the client proxy from ECC).
But the question is if I have to read SAP data files and send the data conditionally based on certain criteria to the other Legacy system. How do we write the ABAP code with in the ABAP Proxie program? Can any body share the real time coding procedure to achieve this. I am not good at ABAP.
I absolutely have good idea how we can configure on the receiver side.

If I want to transfer only specific data from various SAP database files from ECC and then triggering the ABAP client proxy in the ABAP report program
There are various ways to do this. Create a class that can call reports(forms) for various legacy system say L1, L2 and L3. now create 3 reports each for the systems .
In XI create a generic structure which can satisfy L1, L2 & L3 and generate the proxy for this structure.
now in reports for L1 pass the data from ERP tables specific to L1 and use the client proxy report to pass the data to XI and deliver the flat file. Similarly for others you can do
now at XI you do conditional receiver determination. Identify the condition from the payload that can distinguish L1, L2 & L3. based on this you can pass the data to defined receiver.

I'm using a URL;
http://<myserver>:13080/aps/APS
This URL seems to be valid if I plug it into a browser in that it returns a page listing the following information;

Yes, you're right. I've now installed the habnet server on the machine hosting Essbase and can access it via browser using;

However.... when I try to connect using the DataServer I'm shown the same error message as beofre except for the change of URL. Can you remember if there were any other settings that needed to be made?
I've also noticed the line above ' EDSUrl=http://localhost:11080/eds/EssbaseEnterprise (optional) ', this says 'the page cannot be displayed' if i try to access it from the habnet machine but I'm really not sure if this is relevant or not.

Hi,
Kindly check whether the Work Status has been changed for the CV for which you are trying to enter the values. In addition to this, validate the concurrent locks also for your application in BPC Admin.
