Unable to setup remotewebaccess

Hi,i am unable to start remotewebaccess service and returns with tonnes of errors.i have a mode,wireless router attached to the server.trying to find out how to connect things up.even changed the
besides the point the error says modem with upnp suppot.I also want to know whether router and modem can have same ip address?
besides the error says that dns is not configured.will upload the pic.

Your question is not the clearest to understand.
Perhaps you can start with some basics, like an ipconfig /all from the server.
What is the topology, is the server plugged into a switch, then the switch to the router?
Is the server using WiFi?
Are you attempting to use UPnP to configure the router?
What is the actual error in the wizard?

hello, for the old sync system in firefox 28 and below you also had to sign up with a mail address and password originally - to connect firefox to the old account you would need to have all those three pieces (mail, password & recovery key) available to you unfortunately...

8.1.7 install error: Unable to Setup Inventory

I have problem with the installation of 8i 8.1.7.
After the first Welcome , and the second Source and Destine, the next windows don't appear. The message "Unable to Setup Inventory, You may no have proper permissions" display.
Oracle 8.1.7, for AIX 4.3.3

I've run into this when I had 2 Oracle homes (each with a different user -- oracle & ias, but the same group -- oinstall). It was a permission problem.
I'd check 2 things. First, that the ownership is correct. If not, fix by something along the lines of chown -R oracle.oinstall $ORACLE_HOME/oraInventory. Second, make sure the permissions are right on the directory. For the oraInventory directory, I usually do chmod -R 775 oraInventory (you could get away with a 755 as long as you only have one owner for the system, which sounds like the case -- I use the 775 because of the two owner issue I mentioned before). That should do it.

On an M425dn, I am unable to setup scan to network folder on a home wireless network

On an M425dn MFP, I am unable to setup 'Scan to Network Folder' on a home wireless network. The network folder exists and has been set to share with full permissions for everyone. The OS is Windows 7. The printer IP address is 192.168.1.104. I have used this in a browser to access the setup tab called Scan. I have established a network folder and have attempted to test the setup folder multiple times. The tests end in one of two ways. The attempt spins endlessly which requires a cancel action or it ends with the following error: "Cannot connect to the network folder. Ensure the shared folder name is correct." The network folder does indeed exist.
The computer name is Delta. The shared folder name is Images on my A: drive.
So the network path entered is \\DELTA\Images. By the way, printing to this network printer is always a succesful operation. Any guidance to solving this dilemma will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

8945 Unable to setup video

I am testing video calls with 8945 IP phones on Call Manager 9.x. The two phones are in the same VLAN. When I place a call between the two phones I receive an "unable to setup video" message on the called phone. I believe all of the correct configurations are in-place. Any ideas?

Hi I have a HP 5520 all in one deskjet printer. I am unable to setup webservices and thereffore ePrint on my all in one. It gives an error saying unable to connect to service try again later. I have tried several times but it does not work. I read somewhere on the forum to manually set the DNS but that does not work because as soon as I restart the printer it looses the setting. Please help.

Hi there, are you changing the DNS settings from he printer embedded web server? Try the following:
Type the printers IP address into URL bar of your web browser
Click the Network tab on the screen that displays
Click Networking, then Network Address (IP)
Set the DNS settings as per the screenshot below and click Apply

Unable to setup Inventory

The Install of Oracle 8i on a Solaris 8 System is in progress an the Server goes down.
In the second Step, I reboot the System an try to reinstall Oracel, it causes a problem like this.
After I type the groupname "dba", a window open that means: Unable to setup Inventory, you may not have proper Permissions.
In the First Time I start the Script "orainstRoot.sh", it ist possible that the Script writes anything? Where can I find this? Please, can everyone help me?

You have to log in as root to run the .bash shell. Create a directory 'OraInventory' when logged in as root. Then log in as the user 'oracle'(create one if you don't have one yet) and perform the installation process while keeping a terminal window open and logged in as root.
Throughout the installation process you will have to do some procedures as root so keep the window open.
p/s enter a group ID that's valid. If you put DBA then make sure there is such a group and the group has permission to create write into directories.

Has anyone had this problem when the GROUP NAME screen appears. After I type the groupname "oinstall", a window opens and states the following:
"Unable to setup Inventory, you may not have proper Permissions."
What is puzzling is that it (Oracle Universal Installer) is able create the directory structure /d01/app/oracle/oraInventory/Install.Platform. Which implies that it has the proper permissions. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Well, there isn't much I can do.
Does anyone have an answer to this problem or have seen this before?

Check the list of prerequisites in the installation manual and be sure you have all of them. Also the manual or couple page addendum that comes with it should refer to an online site where you can find updates. Be sure to check it.
I ran the 9.2.0 install and applied 9.2.0.4 on AIX 5.2L without a hitch so I do not think I could be of much help. But one thing you might want to consider is if Oracle says that a piece of the OS is missing then even if you are running the machine standalone you might need the "group" piece to be installed as part of the OS.
I am not an administrator so the name did not strike any bells but I once tried to install Oracle on a Silicon Graphics box only to discover that it was missing the C compiler. Oracle needs the archive feature to access libraries during the install (link) and failed to install because it was missing. Once I got it installed the reinstallation went perfect.

Who is the owner of this directory, the group "oinstall", or the group "dba", I suppoused that the "oinstall" group is.

Where ever you are installing Oracle OS make sure you user oracle have read write premission on the directory.
let say am installing oracle in the following directory.
/oracle/software
if you do ls -al on the directory you are installing oracle..
it should look something like.
drwxr-xr-r 8 oracle dba 512 Aug 6 12:38
The one you are interested in is the premision and who own this..
where ever you are creating your ora_inventory directory make sure you have all the right premision.

Unable to setup eprint

Unable to setup eprint.
My printer was working with eprint fine until I got a new router. Since then I cannot seem to use or setup eprint.
It is connected on the home wireless network and this is working fine to print documents.
I have reset factory settings for webservices but still no luck. Keep coming up that I am not connected to a network and wants a proxy

Try restarting your Wifi - Router.
Check the maximum number of devices that can be connected to your Wifi - Router.
Try disconnecting other devices and connect your Printer and Laptop to the router and try the below option.
EPrint Setup Process for your printer.
1. Connect the printer to a network with Internet Connection. (Make sure your laptop or Computer is connected to the same network as Printer)
2. Check the Printers IP address on the printers front panel.
3. Type the IP address of the printer on a browser on your computer and press Enter.
4. On the Webpage that appears click HP Web Services Tab.
5. If your network supports proxy you can add the proxy in this page.
6. Review and accept the terms of use, and then click Enable Button.
7. The printer should print an information sheet with code on that.
8. <code>@hpeprint.com will be your email ID.
This is just a method to register the printer to cloud from the Laptop. You can also try to register the printer from front panel as well.

I don't know how this happened but I was unable to see my email icons (3) on my home page today. I tried to redo my email set uo but I kept getting the setup option for Blackberry Enterprise Server which I didn't have in the first place.
I just wanted to restore my personal accounts.after lots of searching up and down, I finally logged on to my provider's BIS site and managed to set up ONE account. on clicking the next option for adding an extra account, i got the @blackberry.com option which I don't want/need. Tried to set up a third one but was told I have set up the maximum number..
I rebooted my phone and my email icons did appear, thankfully.
My question is, how do I set up an additional email account now that I got my icons back? The email setup option is still asking about Black Enterprise Server.
Please help............
