Unable to sync contacts and calendar to my Blackberry since installing Maverick (worked before). Hunted all over for iSync and it can't be found?
Ok so what have you done with iSync in Maverick?
I have a Blackberry Curve 9320 and until I "upgraded" to maverick I was able to sync my calendar and contacts using Blackberry desktop. Now I see the error sync service disabled. Looking on your help there doesn't seem to be anything that tells me how to enable sync ..
However, hunting around I can find sync services but am unable to do anything with them - i.e. no preferences, etc.
I've looked at your "Advanced" help and the help refers to earlier versions of OSX.

what a "BIG" company with a poor customer service! everytime you read from other's complaint, the so-called Administrator or BlackBerry Technical Advisor would ask you to "contact your mobile service provider and have them engage BlackBerry support for live investigation, diagnosis, and resolution. i used Q10 for a month with my icloud account for calendar and contact.. after few days of "honeymoon", the sync suddenly failed! and no more cal sync, and even the contact is.... sigh.... totally messly!
and you will find that... no help from BB, no advise from BB, (may be the said advise is the best answer from BB), no one cares the issue.
Yes! i agree with you! the keyboard is great!!! some of the new features are wonderful.... but those basic function.... hahaha!! no more!
I feel very disappointed to BB and go back to my ip5... but i keep the q10 in my room... i'm still waiting one day, the bugs are fixed...

If you keep looking, you're sure to find a similar second hand copy in your area, without the need to upgrade your graphics card.
I'd go for Final Cut Pro as above over any version of Express. FCP has the full version of LiveType - not the truncated version that was released later on. -
I'm trying to reinstall Logic Pro 9, and it says It's already installed. I have a project due for class and I need help asap. Please help!!!
Yea I am. I deleted Logic Pro 9 and moved the App to the Trashcan like normal. Then when I go to install it, it says its already Installed. When I do this with other apps; it works fine, the install thing comes back up like it should once you have deleted the app

You don't need additional iCloud storage to sync photos.
You need to sign in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on both devices and enable Photo Stream.
Settings > iCloud > Apple ID - sign in then enable Photo Stream.
Photo Stream holds 30 days of photos on the server so anything on either device older than that won't sync. Additionally, you can only hold 1000 Photo Stream photos on your iOS device (the oldest will be replaced with the newest). To preserve these photos, they need to be saved to your Camera Roll and transfered to your computer. -

I get the error message "This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with my [email protected] Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem." Help. I have version 10.9.3 on the iMac, 7.1.1 on iPhone and iPad. The iPhone & iPad sync notes fine. But neither gets the changes I put in the iMac.

Since installing FF4 my pages are all scrambled..... black squiggley lines that sometimes fills the whole page or different parts. It is driving me crazy! PLEASE HELP! If I can't figure it out i will have to unistall and that will suck!

Unable to sync contacts and calendar with HP Laptop using MS Outlook 2010 and I-phone 4gs since OS 6 upgrade
The activation server is gone for AA7, but not AA8 as understand it. You will need to do the updates for AA8 to be effective on Win7. It is questionable that it will run on WIn8 (I have no clue for a MAC).
Your conversation is an example of how many of us got here in the first place. It is fantastic that you were able to hold on and get the problem resolved. Not exactly sure of the solution, but there does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel for folks. Normally, with activation problems like yours, we recommend calling Adobe Support for them to reset the activations. I was just wanting to get a heads up about AA8 on the newer systems. Folks have been successrul on Win7 with the updates, but the results for Win8 are still not known in general. There have been some suggestions, but nothing more. As long as it works for you that is great. For our info, what OS are you running? -
Unable to sync contacts, keep saying 'ipad already using contacts'. When I open contacts app it opens for fraction of secs and goes back to main screen. any ideas?

I upgraded to Mac OS 10.9 a few months ago.
Up till then I was happily able to sync mac Contacts and Calendar to my Blackberry Curve 9320 via Blackberry's Desktop Manager (for Mac).
Since upgrading the software tells me to that Mac Sync Manager is turned off. I know it isn't because everything else is syncing.
When I hunt through your support I find that there are solutions for this problem for other Mac OS versions but not for Maverick, so please tell me how I can once again use my business phone happily as I did before upgrading!

Since the release of Mavericks, syncing contacts with a Mac using iTunes is no longer supported. The currently supported method is to use iCloud. http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

Re: check that the appointments in my phone are going into iCloud calendars....exactly how do I do this? I fear this is a really stupid question!
My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud? -

ICloud not syncing Contacts or Calendar events on iOS 5 devices after MobileMe migration
On either of my devices (iPhone 4 and iPad 2) I cannot get my contacts or calendar events to appear correctly, both devices crash the contacts or calendars apps when I access them.
I first upgraded to ios5 and iTunes 10.5 (Which bricked my iPhone 5 times in a row with error 3012)
I then migrated from MobileMe to iCloud and all of my Contacts/Calendars are appearing correctly online at iCloud.com. However my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 will simply refuse to sync with the contacts and calendars...
My iPhone and iPad literally freeze when I try disable the iCloud services, I have restored both devices numberous times and started the iCloud service in MANY different steps. I have even used both my mac and PC to restore my devices.
I have been trying to fix this for two days now, I am extremely disapointed with iCloud, and I sorely wished I had of stayed with my MobileMe service. I initally thought this would be server contact issues, but there HAS to be something wrong with my devices, or sync services.
Surely other users have encounted this error, I would love to know the strategies used to resolve this.I thought I might post here and update my solution thus far..
1. Restored my iPhone 4 and iPad 2, and did not select iCloud.
2. iCloud working fine on the macbook pro, so I exported my contacts from iCloud to the vCards.
3. Turned icloud contacts off on my macbook pro (iCloud calendars remained on)
4. Synced iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with my macbook pro
5. now my iOS 5 devices sync my contacts and calendar locally with my macbook pro
6. Turned on iCloud only for my email, notes and documents.
Word to the wise: Stay clear of iCloud, WAY too many issues, especially for MobileMe migration customers. -
