Unable to view SmartList in Planning webforms in 11.1.1.2

Hi Friends,
I am using Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.2 webforms. I am Unable to view SmartList in Planning webforms.
steps I have done:
1.Created a SmartList.
2.Added entries to Smartlist
3.Assigned the SmartList to a dimension Member(Account Member).
4.In the webform I am selecting the same account member as Column member.
5.One Members for Row.
6.Rest of all the dimension members are POV/PAGE.
When I open the form I am not able to see the smartlist for the account member. I am not able to select.
Also I see that there is no "Enable Smart List" option in EPM (11.1.1.2). I have seen the same in 9.2
Any Idea what needs to be set or changed?

Hi,
Have you set the evaluation order, Administration > Dimensions > Evaluation Order > Move the dimension that the smart list is against across to the right hand window.

Unable to view forms in Planning 9.3.1

I have created few forms in Planning.I can see the forms in the left window pane and I am able to open it up.However when I go to Admin->Manage dataforms section I do not see any forms.I don't even see the folder.
I restarted the Planning services but no success.Does anyone know what needs to be done in order to solve this issue ?
This is 9.3.1 planning and Oracle is the backend.

How are you accessing planning via workspace.
If so have you tried going directly, if not have you tried going through workspace.
Are you getting any Javascript errors, check the corner of your browser.
What browser are you using.
Have you tried from another machine to rule out a browser issue.
Can you create a new folder, does it appear?

Unable to view planned order from exceptional summary window

Hello All,
I have ran ASCP plan and it details out the exceptions and recommendations, but I am unable to view planned order from exceptional summary window>recommendations>cilck discrete jobs, no planned orders visible. This issue also shows up for other exceptions, on click of exceptions details it shows up the items but unable to take any actions.
I have tried by giving large no of days to view recommendations in preference.
Can someone help me to reslove issue.

We don't have any query built on the exceptional window. As I am able to view below recommendations

When we click on discrete jobs/purchase req, its not showing any planned orders in supply window.
Can you please let me know, which is the backend table which stores supply information which are displayed in exceptional window.

Is it authorization issue or any settings issue?

Can you check if ''Selection profile" is checked in the ''view selection" option in the top left of the planning book for the user?
you can choose the hide/show the Selection profile tab, planning book/data view and macros tab using that function.

How can I reduce number of rows in Planning webform in Smartview?

Hi,
I downloaded a Planning webform into Smartview. I want to reduce the 1000 rows down to 20 for a particular user as he does not submit data for the other 980 rows. How can I reduce number of rows in Planning webform in Smartview?
Someone said that I can insert vlookup code into Smartiveiw pointing to a new worksheet that has only 20 rows. I could not test it as our Planning 9.3.1 has a bug that would not take sub variables from Smartview.

My first reaction is why do you have a form with a 1000 rows, surely this is a design issue and doesn't benefit anybody when entering data, anyway why not have security on the dimensions then users will only see what they have access to when they retrieve the form in smart view or through the planning web front end.

SCCM right click tools adds multiple ‘Client Tools’ entries
are comming when i right click on the clients. when i check for logs it shows client logs written only. More over when i try to connect to C$ i am able to connect to from console right click tools but when i go for connecting ccm folder it says no directory
found admin$\system32\ccm, but my machine is of 64 bit OS hence it should go to syswow64. any ideas how to resolve the same.

Unable to view comment bubble notes

Some of my students annotated and commented on letters using the Adobe Reader iPad App. When they exported their documents they were unable to view the comments they typed in the note bubble. They tried uploading directly to Dropbox and e-mailing both the Original and Flattened versions. Suggestions please.

I am having this trouble too I think.
My PDF business plan form is annotated within Adobe Reader on my iPad (1, iOS5) app but when i try to email it (either flattened or not) all my editing and annotations are lost. I cannot find them when I open the PDF in iBooks, Dropbox or Kindle either - all of which are options on my tablet. It just opens as an unmarked blank original business plan form.
What can I do? This has not happened before... It did used to work!

You might want to include a little more information such as the source of the download and the app. However, if you are referring to a movie purchased in itunes, yes, once downloaded you do not need WiFi to view. but it must be downloaded first.
To actually download or stream, you need a WifI connect that permits that. Most airline WiFi services block large file downloads and streaming.

Unable to View low level items for Phantom Assembly - Order created in APO

I am unable to view the sub items when I create planned orders in APO and production orders in ECC. But when the order for the same material is created in ECC, I can see all the sub items. I see that this issue is only for Phantom Assemblies.
And I cannot say that all the items in the Phantom do not appear, actually some of them do appear in BOM explosion.
For example:
Pld Ord is created for A in APO
Prd Ord for A is created in ECC
A has B, C and F as requirements
and B is phantom
B has D and F as requirements
Then my BOM explosion shows
..1 B
..2 D
..1 C
..2 D
..2 E
..1 F (This only gives the quantity required to make A)
But it should also list how much of F (..2 F) is required to make B.
Where as it comes up in ECC.
Do I need to change the material settings for Phantom or is it just the UOM that is creating an issue?

Unable to view alternate source org in PWB

Hello,
I have mutliple sourcing rule (Item-Org combination Sourcing rule and BOD) assigned to the item, which I am able to view in the assignment set in ASCP Instance after data collection. But I am unable to view alternate source org when try to release from PWB. On right click of planned order and navigate to items>sources it shows only one sourcing rule rather it should display mutiple sourcing rule.
Can some one help me to reslove this issue.

I have distinct sourcing rule in Item-Org sourcing rule and BOD. In Item-Org sourcing rule, I have make at condition and in BOD transfer from rule.
With the above setup, planner will able to switch from Make to Buy or viceversa. As most of the time, if they are unable to produce they will source from intercompany thr IR-ISO process.
Please let me know, if we require to modify the sourcing rule so that it will not result in to conflict.

I'm trying to change the billing information for my account but no matter which browser I log in with, I get the following message in my OVERVIEW tab, under Plans & Products:

Even if I click the View All button I get the same message in the Plans section. This is driving me insane.

Could you try a new browser or clear the cache/cookie of the browser your are using and then try.

Hi guys,
I think the issue was due to using varchar2 datatype column (duration) for measure Hirerchy.
after converting it into number (using view option in rational DB) & doing the whole process again. it works fine

Slowness in smartlist dropdown in webform

Hi All,
we recently upgraded from 9 3 1 to 11 1 2 2
we have smartlists in the webform and the drop down of the list takes around 5 seconds.
In 9 3 1 it was instantaneous. We don't this problem in SmartView 11 1 2 2
its only the web which is taking time.
can you please guide me towards resolution.

This version has a little different GUI in that it loads the hierarchy with arrows at the bottom to tab through groups of 5 or 10. If you want a similar experience to the older version (which might improve the time it takes to render the list), do the following. This isn't answering your core question about speed, this might solve your problem. My experience is that most users prefer the drop down box rather than the new tabbed box (assuming you don't want to search a huge hierarchy for a member).
1. Log in to workspace
2. Open the planning app in question - the setting below is app specific
3. Select file/preferences from the menu
4. Click the planning icon
5. Select the "Display Options Tab"
6. Change the "allow search when number of pages exceeds" option to a very large number
7. You may have log out and log back in to see the change (I can't remember)

Unable to View .mod files in Photoshop Elements 11, can see they are there but no picture, I import them into Premiere and all OK ?

I have hundreds of .mod files which are supported but I am unable to view them on my Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. I cant see the picture icons as pictures or see the vision when i select them? I am running the latest Windows 8.1 PC with heaps of Ram and memory. If I import the files into Premiere they play fine?

I did re-set the prefs - but to no avail
I checked and my graphics driver and audio is all up to date.
No sure how to verify Windows Media Player's hardware acceleration options. I opened WMP Options /Perfformance tab and under Cd the DirX tab is checked.
Running Windows Vista - so does the same caution apply regarding a re-install of Windows Media Components and DirectX ?
Appreciate your help with this somewhat frustrating issue. I am converting some old 8mm film to avi with the hope of doing some edits then burning to DVD.
