Hi Experts,
We are getting failed messages for the below error in integration engine .After manually restarting the messages processed successfully from integration engine .I am using PI7.1 version .
Please suggest me any parmanent solution for this issue .

For general issues with the error 401 Unauthorized, please refer to note below maintaining
the same password for all the service users in all the places mentioned (SU01, Exchange
Profile, ...):

Also check for users locked in the transaction.

There is no group membership required for Outlook Anywhere access. Probably your Outlook Anywhere is misconfigured.

HTTP error 401 usually means that HTTP authentication is required. While installing the solution you should have been asked for username/password ?

Web service unauthorized 401

Hi,
I have created a web service from a simple helloworld function module in Netweaver 7.0.
I created the service definition with basic authentification (User/pwd) security.
Now , my user has roles SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_CONSUMER and SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN_TEC but I still get a 401 unauthorized error when I run from Stylus Studio...
How can I see what authorizations I am missing... if I'm running in SRT , I can't run su53 after ????

thanks for the answer... I've already assigned roles and am wondering what is now missing... but also think it may be another problem.
does anyone know how to debug the security for web applications... in particular the soap run time (srt).
Normaly, in SAPGUI , you do SU53 after you get authorisation error... can't do this in the web.

Unauthorized 401 error when executing any managed bean event or links

HI,
I am developing one application in Webcenter 11g PS5. Ths application is using some custom adf taskflow libraries in some regions and peoplesoft portlets. This application is using composer as well. When security in not enbaled then the application works fine. But when security is enabled then the home page opens up. But when any link or edit link is clicked one erros comes up as pop-up in the browser. The pop up displays the error as unauthorized error=401. After a page refresh the link again works fine. But again another link or the same link gives same problem in the same session. Can anyone please help me on this issue?

Unauthorized 401 error message

Some users of my website get an unauthorized message when trying to log into my website? The site is password protected?

Internet Explorer is a total pain as stuff that works in one version doesn't in another. Its unbelievable how many people are still using versions 6 & 7.
IE V 8 added all these security measures which made things worse. I wonder if its this version that's causing the problem? I'm not very familiar with IE 8 because, anytime I'm on a PC, I give up on it in frustration and download Google Chrome.

Error while using receiver file adpater "401 UNAUTHORIZED"

I don't have any link for this.
But " Unauthorized : 401 " error occurs only when the users are locked or roles are incorrect.
I have faced this kind of error .
Can you please try below suggestions:
1. Check in Trace, is there any specific service user mentioned (Check for PIAFUSER).
2. If you cannot find any specific user in Trace than please check all the service users maintained in SU01 T-code in the system.
Probabely you can narrow your search by finding users with name as PI*.
The service users should not be locked.

Are you trying to post Expense reports to ERP System and you are getting this error?
Error Unauthorized (401) generally means the User ID in ERP backend maintained in outbound communication is not valid. Could you please check if the user is valid in ERP with the proper roles and its password is well maintained? If this is well maintained, Check Connection should return Ping Successful.
Once the ping is successful on communication arrangement "SAP ERP Financials using IDoc"
Go to work center Postings, Show Posted Reports. Find report & select it. Select the below tab Request a Transfer Restart.

SOAP adapter - unauthorized problem

Our third party receive an unauthorized (401) message back when they send a soap request via http protocol to our XI server.
In the soap request, the following location adapted.

 Maybe the problem is being caused because the way that the user and password is being sent to XI WebService.
 I have used to send user and password joined to the url in the format that you specified in your first message but, this worked in Java, not in PHP.
 When I used PHP to call a RFC function as a WebService, I do it using NuSOAP package, and using NuSOAP, the code was something like this:

 Where $client is a instance of the NuSOAP soapclient class.
 This code always work very well, I don´t know if your third part system is using NuSOAP too but, case not, tell the php programmer to check if the library that is being used doesn´t have some class/method like NuSOAP, to set credentials.

Weird thing is that I did not get this error on day1. On day 1 it was working fine. I am able to connect to the web service and get data. On day 2 when i tried open the form I got this error.
We have 4 WFE , So I hope it is not due to loopbackcheck security feature.
I checked in the central admin whether it is claim based web app or not. Its is not claim based web app.
So any one guide me to get ride of this error.

Please ensure the user encountered this issue has enough permission to access (or update) the data source you added to the InfoPath form.
If you suspect the issue is caused by loopbackcheck security feature, then you could try to disable the
DisableLoopbackCheck follow this KB on all SharePoint servers. And check if problem persists after reboot servers:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896861 .
In addition, is there load balancer deployed in your environment which might bring double-hop authentication? This might cause the issue happens intermittently. If so, you could manually add entries in host files. For your reference:

Configure Search Across farms in sharepoint 2013

Hi,
I'm setting up a farm to share services across differente farms but for some reason search isn't working.
I have done everything I thk i should, exchange certs, create trust relationship, publish service, service permissions, connect remote service app, s2s auth etc. I added the remote site url on the crawler, it runs without erros, then I created a result source
with remotesharepoint but when I test I get an Unauthorized (401), or when I search on my Enterprise search.
In the consumer farm I'm getting this error on the ULS:
SPApplicationAuthenticationModule: Error authenticating request, Error details: Header: 3000006;reason="Token contains invalid signature.";category="invalid_client", Body: {"error_description":"Invalid JWT token. Could not
resolve issuer token."}
I have changed my PS command according this guy(http://steve.thelineberrys.com/following-sites-across-farms-with-sharepoint-2013-mysites/) that had the same problem but with the UPS, without any luck.

I am now able to search and get results from the Consumer site collection (crawler runs without errors) on a Search Portal on the Publisher farm.
But everytime I try to open the Result Sources on my consumer site collection for example I get a
"Addresses for this application have not yet been fetched."
I dont get service toplogy/permission errors on ULS, but I have tried the script harbar posted:

Crystal Report + Web Services Security Help!

Hello all,
I am trying to design a Crystal Report (using CR XI 2 and/or CR 2008) and using a web service as a data source. I've developed the web service in .NET and have control over the IIS directory it is hosted on. I've set the authentication for the folder with "Anonymous Access" turned off and Integrated Windows Authentication.
I'd like Crystal to pass the current user id (NT Id) over to the web service when the report is created. My web service will take the user id and return only the data that the user is allowed to view (security is all in the web service).
The problem I am having is after setting up my connection in Crystal Designer, when I click preview, I am getting an unauthorized (401) error.
It seems that CR isn't passing any type of user credentials to IIS. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this so I can test this in the designer?

Nope, nothing yet. The problem seems to be that Crystal doesn't currently allow SSO or the SSO credentials to be passed through to IIS. Therefore, IIS never gets any security tokens for validation. Maybe you can do this with an SDK? I don't know.
The only half solutions I can think of are:
1. Allowing "Anonymous Access" authentication to your web service on IIS. The downside is that the user token doesn't get passed through, so if you are looking to use the current user security context, you're outta luck. You'll get the impersonated IIS account instead.
2. Hosting your crystal report file behind IIS in your vritual directory. I think this works since by the time you get to the report, it has already been authenticated via IIS. However, you don't get the luxury of the BOE servers.
So sadly, no answer yet. I've decided to just code everything into my stored procedures as I am short on time. It seems odd that CR doesn't seem to support this yet, but who knows what the future holds

HTTP_GET to apache that uses NTLM

our Intranet uses an apache-Server with NTLM-authentification. I use SAP to get data from that server. When I use FM http_get I always get "Unauthorized"
(401). Anyone knows how I can handle this?
With FM http_get I only get data to websites with basic authentification.

As the error message clearly say, you can not use ActiveX in a SQL Server CLR assembly.
But Transact-SQL supports the usage of ActiveX, see MSDN:

Trouble running "Universal Windows app that consumes data from the Azure Marketplace" sample

I am trying to run the sample titled "Universal Windows app that consumes data from the Azure Marketplace". I am not sure how to enter the credentials for the Zillow APIs. I obtained a key from Zillow, but when I enter it per the instructions
in the sample, I still get an unauthorized (401) error.
The instructions say Insert that key into the SampleDataSource file of your project in place of the string "Your account key goes here".
So I replaced my key in this line of code:
request.Credentials = new NetworkCredential("<Your account key goes here>",
"<Your account key goes here>");
Am I missing something else?
