Sorry to hear you are having issues with your BlackBerry® Torch™ 9860 smartphone.
It is not recommended to downgrade your software, however, if you wish to do so you will need to consult your mobile carriers download site at www.na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp and see if the previous software version is posted. If so, download and install it to your computer then use the BlackBerry® Desktop Software to install the older software version.

I am using mulptiple tabs in groups - an excellent feature - this worked well in V6. Now I have upgraded to V7 when I closed down Firefox and relaunch it to takes a VERY long time - up to 30 minutes - to connect to all of the tabs. This is new. and before you ask, no it is not my Internet connection. If I launch IE8 it works perfectly!

I was adding items with the intent of command z 'ing them back to their original when it crashed, autosaved, and my original numbers were lost to the temp numbers plugged in... how can i get back to the previous version? Because it had closed, command z

I have always (maybe stupid!) updated my iOS version when itunes has proposed it, thinking my old iPhone 3 should work better. It is now clear for me that it is not the case!
Can I go back to an earlier version so I can use the phone as it was meant to work?
Have read something about if you have not save the "protocol" from an earlier version it is impossible!
The question is also justified for all my other iPhones and Pad in my family, should I stop updates iOS versions on them as oblivious thy are becoming useless with the time, or?

It was not really meant to be rude to wjosten, but his answer was really short, short and did not help me with my problem.
I'm surprised to hear that your 3gs is working well!
My main reason to continue with my 3 gs (I have a iphone 5 also) is to use the GPS function in it. but from the moment I upgrade it to iOS 6.0.1 the GPS is not working well. I can not say if it is becase it is too slove or something is not supporting it. It does not matter if I use it in combination with Google Maps our my TomTom app.
It is loosing the GPS all the time.
The second problem is also that the 3gs is not working anymore in the TomTom car mounth holder.
TomTom are making them so they are only working for iphone 3 (so my other 2 iphone 4 have never worked in it, but it is in that way).
I do not know if it is the TomTom software which is not supported by iOS6 or what...
As I can only use the holder for my 3gs it is awast if the mobil is not working...

I have been having nothing but trouble with OS 10.6.8. Many of my applications will not work.. HOw can I revert back to a previous version of OS x?
Before you revert anything try this:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
Next time don't post something like "nothing but trouble." Tell us exactly what the trouble is and provide any additional information such as error messages. -
I am unhappy with the recent upgrade to Thunderbird 31.3.0 and now 31.4.0. My bottom line question is whether I can roll back to the previous version, which was working well for me.
The problems I have encountered include:
1. I used to be able to enter a single letter in many cases in the address field, and the autocomplete would fill in the entry that I always use with that single letter. That function has been lost, as has auto fill-in based on the nicknames I have entered in my Address Book. I see there is another thread on this problem (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1036962), but no satisfactory answer so far. Entering a single letter now pulls up completely unrelated address entries that may not even have that letter as part of the name, address or nickname for that unrelated address. I have created new nicknames to try to adapt to this problem, but even these new nicknames no longer work with the 31.4.0 upgrade yesterday, forcing me to create yet more complex and hard-to-remember nicknames to pull up my frequent addressees. This is all very frustrating to me, as I depend on speed and ease when creating messages.
2. Also, I used to be able to enter a single letter in the address field and then use the mouse to click on the "To:" symbol to the left of the next address line to change the next entry to "Cc:"; doing so would then cause the complete address to fill in in the "To:" address field, and make the next field ready for an entry. That no longer works. If I use that technique, the shortcut that I entered in the first field gets included along with the address (if I'm lucky enough to have the address itself selected now, given the problems I've mentioned above). I now have to press "Enter" in order to get the address in the first field to "take" correctly, and then have to click on the "To:" symbol for the next line as a separate action. Just another inconvenience with the new version.
3. While still on the subject of addresses, personally I see no reason why the address and subject fields should now be colored blue by default rather than appearing as blank, white fields. I far prefer the old look. And I suspect that changing from the blue color to a nice, clean, white field takes time and computer resources that slow things down.
4. The default font (Times in my case) no longer "takes" when replying to or forwarding messages. I've checked Tools/Options/Composition, and Times is still shown as my default font. However, when I start to type (in a reply with the original message quoted or in a forwarded message), the result is "Variable Width". In order to get Times, I need to highlight the block of text after typing, including the lead-in to the quoted message or the header of the forwarded message, and select "Times" when "(mixed)" shows up. This is a big pain; I often forget to do so and end up having to edit the Unsent Message (which I check before sending) as New and correct the font.
5. A minor problem: I rely on the reminder to attach a message which shows up when an "attachment-related" word is entered in the body of the message. It has been a wonderful feature of Thunderbird that has prevented me on many occasions from sending off messages without the attachments. However, in the new versions, even if I have indeed added the attachment, a pop-up comes up on sending the message saying there has been no attachment and asking if I want to add one. It's easy enough to just click "No", but it's yet one more unnecessary and distracting step that this new version is requiring of the user.
I'm really sad to see these various changes/glitches. I love Thunderbird and it bothers me deeply to find myself mired in so many new problems that slow down my work. I would be grateful for any suggestions and advice, and, particularly, for any information as whether I can roll back to the version prior to 31.3.0 that was working well for me.Thank you, Zenos. I tried rolling back to v31.2.0, since I had not encountered problems prior to December. However, that didn't help. So I followed your valuable suggestion to revert to v24.6; that seems to have done the trick.
I would like to mark this problem as "Solved" -- the rollback seems to have worked. However, since my original post was a complex mix of things, before I do that, should I post the individual problem sets that I had noted (address fields/nicknames problems -- numbers 1-3; default font problem -- number 4; attachment reminder problem -- number 5) as separate issues which have not been solved?
Do you know if these various issues are being worked on? I'm glad to have the temporary fix of rolling back to an earlier version, but I'd like to get back on the current update schedule at some point if and when these problems have been corrected.

I just found out through my school that the online campus does not support Fire Fox 7. So I would like to go back to Fire Fox 6 which is what I had before. My school does say that it supports version 5, but 6 seemed to work just fine. Either way how do I go back to those versions? If you want the nitty gritty details, every time I attempt to send emails while logged into my campus account it won't send them. I don't want some stupid app or some crazy version where I have to have all of these accounts and stuff. I just want Fire Fox 6 or 5 back that's all.

Thanks for the answer. I am not new to IOS software but I don't really ever bother with it, have discovered how little I take advantage of the i-phones capability, in reality I still only really use it to phone, text, check emails, listen to music and look on internet. I'm not keen on jailbreaking it as I don't trust it to work so normally just update and leave it at that. Only reason I wanted to downgrade was because the update had stopped my bluetooth working but Kilted Tim solved that problem for me so am now not interested in downgrading software. I quite liked the things that IOS 5.1 gave me but wasn't happy with fact that bluetooth stopped working in car as it caused me problems. One day I might try and work out exactly what I-phones can do but on the basis that it's a phone all I really want it to do is phone, if that bit works I'm happy. -
Each time I go on any websites, there is always double stacked writing either on the left or right side of my screen. Also, lots of other items have been disabled because of firefox 7 (like Adobe reader etc) and because of those being disabled, i can not play games online anymore. I did not want firefox7 because i was quite happy with the older version, but I have no clue as to how to change it back and how to stop from getting alerts about newer versions of firefox every other day. It is rather annoying.
If you have Yosemite you need iphoto 9.6 from the App store - what is the exact error message you are getting?
Try dragging the iphoto Application to the trash from your applications folder (wait tot empty the trash) and then install iPhoto 9.6 from the App store

I was prompted by Firefox to update my adobe flash player on 12/23/11, which I did. Ever since then the web site has frozen and/or crashed. I run a internet business and can't have this continue. I uninstalled the flash player and the problems have stopped. I would like to reinstall the earlier version of adobe, since that didn't seem to impact the web site.

When I am on Facebook or playing a game, it will freeze and I have to hit control alt delete, to get any response. Within a couple more seconds the same problem occurs. I did not have this problem with the previous version.
I tried so hard with FF4 but no deal. It was considerably MUCH slower than 3.6. Every page just had a 2~3 second wait before it loaded up. This was tested on a brand new Windows 7 64-bit install machine too.
Flash ran much more cpu intensive as well. I played many flash based games in 3.6 and my cpu usage was never always as it was with FF4 in the 90%-100% range.
I had to get rid of it due to the slowness and the lack of older plugin support: ANYCOLOR which I must run and cannot stand the light colored menu pop ups. Also the buttons in FF4 are worse than 3.6. You can't see them when you have a persona applied.
Staying with 3.6 until 4 speeds up or will give 4.1 a try.
