Unknown outbound adapter (name = SOAP)

Hi folks,
I am working on a PROXY --> PI --> SOAP scenario. I get this error in PI'S SXMB_MONI. How to resolve this issue and what is causing it?

Have you tried out the solution provided by Nisar Khan in the thread below. It looks similar to your case.

XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: No such operation

Hi,
I am doing a SOAP - PI - SOAP scenario.
When I tested my scenario, I am getting this error in wsnavigator:
Web service returned error. Fault code: "(http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/)Server" Fault String: "Server Error".
When I checked in SXMB_MONI, I get this error in the response message:
<SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: No such operation</SAP:AdditionalText>
I searched thru the forums but I am not finding this similar issue.
"no such operation" issues posted here usually have an operation name after.
I would appreciate your help.

WSDL is having some problem
When you imported this wsdl how many messages does it show. Check weather it is having SETCOMPANYFIELDVALUE request and response. you can check the messages carried in a wsdl using the messages tab in external definition.

About EDI outbound file name

Hi Anuj,
When I test EDI X12 834 outbound, the file generated is in the format %From_party%_%unique_id%.dat. I am not sure the unique_id is message ID or transaction control number, anyway it is a timestamp unique.
My question is can I specify outbound file name format? File name convention is recently proposed. It is not compliant with the default outbound file name.

Yes, we have worked on edi 834 and completed a few different transactions with people's support in this forum. Now I am glad to help other people on this.
1. Is HCA Adapter required for EDI 834?
HCA is not required for EDI 834. There are a couple threads discussed this in the forum. You can search Anuj's comments regarding this. See the the link. Oracle B2B is the right solution.

2. Any Healthcare Libraries?
If you are encountering B2B validation problem, you need to install Healthcare Library. But your problem has nothing to do with that. If you don't install the healthcare library, you still can do everything except B2B validation.
3. Any patches
If you are running SOA Suite 11.1.1.6.0, you need to install Health Care Patch to fix B2B validation problem. That is a bug.
If you are running SOA Suite 11.1.1.7.9, you need to install HealthCare Library to fix B2B validation problem. It is the same bug.
4. Any other??
If you are using Oracle B2B, you need to active B2B ui project. It has already deployed on Weblogic server, but you need to activate it. You should be able to access B2B via:
http://localhost:7001/b2bconsole or: http://localhost:7101/b2bconsole
5. Any special care while generating .ecs,xsd,.dazt from doc editor???
I don't need .dazt. You need ecs and xsd for B2B configuration. I disabled a couple validation rules to meet our business requirements. You may not need to.
For your particular problem, as the error message says "it can't find the agreement for the trading partners. B2B needs three information to identify the agreement. The document type (here it is 820 or 834), From TP, and To TP. If these three things meet, then B2B should be able to find it.
Let me know how are you doing after you check these things.

We have a scenario of FTP-->PI---> Webservice. While triggering the data in the FTP, it is failing in the PI with the below error

Hi Raja- It seems to be a data quality issue.
Check for the value @ 1447 position in the xml message that you are trying to send to web service..
may be a date filed/decimal value which is not in expected format.

NW 7.01 upgrade to 7.3 (BW) - Error: Unknown language short name Z2

Hello,
While upgrading a BW system to NW 7.3, in phase PREP_CONFIGURATION/LANG_SELECT I get the error:
Unknown language short name 'Z2'
and the upgrade cannot continue. The Z2 language is supplemented with English and is working properly in the system.
It is only used so that some BI reports to be presented in that language. It is not a correspodence language. Simulation in transaction i18n reports no errors.
Since no objects are translated in this language, I also thought to remove the language during the upgrade and import it after.
However, even this approach was not possible, since I do not get any screen in the upgrade GUI in order to be able to remove Z2 language. Also searched for Notes and in SDN, but no one seems to have faced such an issue.
The system is a standalone development NW 7.01 SPS 8 in Windows 2008 R2 SP1 with SQL 2008 R2 SP1.
Any help or ideas appreciated.

I do not have any translations to save. Nevertheless, I exported the language before starting the upgrade with SMLT_EX.
I get the error and the upgrade stops. I do not get any screen to remove the language.

Few points for your reference:
1. Whats possible with WS adapter and whats not with SOAP
With WS adapter you can create direct communication link
between two systems that use ws runtime
so you can connecto two ERP systems without the use of integration engine
(you only configure the connection in ID but XI does not take part in the flow)
WS Adapter :
WS adapter also support other ws standard like SAML which is not available in SOAP adatper
WS Adapter :
1)Supports Multiple Synchronous Operations
2)No Local Processing within AAE
3)No SOAP Action
SOAP Adapter :
1)Allows Local Processing in AAE

I am trying to create a scenario SOAP to SOAP through AAE. There is no mapping involved.
Sender is a 3rd Party application and receiver is SAP BusinessObjects [BI].
Following error is coming when posting the message from SOAPUI or through integration engine.
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: String index out of range: 0
I have done following workaround.
1) I tried the message flow through AAE, but same error in the channel
2) I checked creating a one to one mapping with soap fault message. Still the same error.
3) "XMBWS.NoSOAPIgnoreStatusCode = true" in module tab -> Module configuration
When I tried this mentioned option, the message is passing through the channel but the passing blank empty payload.

Probably because the return is blank. If this is expected, can you just use Java Mapping to parse the blank response?

Receiver SOAP Adapter Problem-soap fault: Server did not recognize the valu

I have a scenario for service orders using async call : IDOC-XI-SOAP.
I used the XML Spy tool to test the Service order's web services and it works fine. I imported the same WSDL file in XI. When I send a SOAP message from XI, I get a following error in the adapter engine.
MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction: AddUpdateCostObjectLevel1.
Can someone please help me...

This problem is resolved by me by passing the "http://company's URL/AddUpdateCostObjectLevel1" in the SOAP action.

Viewing the output from XI outbound adapter

Hi,
I am running a HTTP outbound adapter. When the message fails I am able to see the payload in SXMB_MONI but when its successful the payload is not visible.Is there a way to look out for the payload after it leaves the outbound adapter? We have some issues on some garbled data at our posting URL but when I fail the HTTP adapter and see the payload its perfect. I want to make sure the HTTP adapter is not doing the funny garbling things and check the outbound payload before it reaches the target URL.
Any suggestions guys....

I thought you ment the XI content but the other way might be to install an EffeTech HTTP Sniffer http://www.effetech.com/sniffer/
I guess the XI content, e.g. the mapped payload is ok?
I used the sniffer before and it helped me but only the full version shows you every detail. I guess there are other products on the market. Did you check the message monitoring in the runtime workbench? That has a button too for message display.
I guess with the sniffer I would send the request to your desktop where the sniffer is installed on so that you see the payload and post / get.
I guess there must be open source sniffers on the market too.

After replacing the mainboard of the test computer and activating Windows, test station shows "Invalid adapter name"c/CVI Flexible Prototype Adapter" . Invalid adapter name. Error code:-17336" when we try to run TestStand Sequence(4.2.1.83). Could you help to guide. Thanks!

I would agree with Doug regarding checking the licensing in the License Manager, deactivating if it is activated and then reactivating. It is possible that the MAC address changed when you switched out the motherboard and this would cause the computer ID to change and render your current licensing invalid. If this does not solve the situation, could you specify when this error occurs? Is this when you open Teststand or when you try to run a particular program? Do you have a base or debug deployment Teststand license?

Sender CIDX adapter name

Hi mates,
Is the name of sender CIDX adapter constructed at runtime according to the template <Partner Role>_<direction>_<Action> or is it just the naming convention for the adapter?
I understand from <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a8/502041cfb7f423e10000000a155106/content.htm">Creating a Service</a> that service name is constructed at runtime according the conventione specified there.
My question is it same for adapter name as well?
If not which sender adapter and in turn which sender agrement is used at runtime? How is it determined?

Yes. But then in your receiver determination, you still configure the non-virtural business system that represents the receiver in your landscape - e.g. an R/3 system.

Unknown app pool name error when ran: Invoke-MonitoringProbe -Identity Outlook.Proxy\OutlookProxyTestProbe

Got this error for one of our supported Exchange 2013 environments, outlook.proxy healthset showed alert state; got the same error when I ran the probe on another box whose healthset showed as healthy.
Questions:
What does unknown app pool mean? how to fix it?
Why the other server is not affected by this probe and its state is still healthy? I checked there was no monitor override for this healthset. This healthset has only 1 probe.
