Unlike some users, I want to send some files in the body of my email NOT as an attachment. How do I do that?

Some literary agents want a chapter or two in the body of an email. They do NOT want an attachment. How do I do that?

ppress and hold on email section until the select and select all show up. Ussually I select text and then hit paste instead.
Other option on pc or if you have a Bluetooth keyboard

Keynote is programmed to execute all of the effects in a build sequence before it will move to the next slide.
If you want tobe able to move to the next slide at any time in a sequence of builds, you will need to set all of the builds on that slide to: "on click". You will then need to execute each build by pressing the space bar or click the left mouse button for each object.

Mail is sending the body of my email as a .txt attachment

I have a serious problem when I send out an ordinary email, with no attachment. The first line appears as it should.."Dear whoever", and after that the email is blank. This makes me look rather stupid, but if the recipient checks the .txt attachment, they understand my message because the body of text has been punted into an attachment for some reason. I've had this feedback from several people. I use multiple email accounts in mail and I've had the same feedback for different accounts on separate domains. The message appears correct in my sent items, so I have absolutely no way of know that this has happened until the recipient tells me. It seems to be intermittent or not happening in every case.
I would be so pleased if anyone could help me out with this one?

Mail doesn't create .txt files from email messages; it sends exactly what you type. If some of your recipients are claiming they receive .txt files, that would most likely be due to their email client, which no doubt is running Windoze. Only they can solve that problem. If the message is okay in your Sent mailbox, that's exactly what you sent, so the problem is on their end.

As all of the msuic came from your computer in the first place it should still be there. Is it not?
EVERYTHING on your ipod should also be on your computer and should be included in your regular backup copy of your computer.
Make sure that everything is on your computer. You can transfer itunes purchases from the ipod. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases.
When everything is on your computer, then it can be synced back to the ipod after updating.

I want to send a response from the servlet and then call another servlet. can this happen. Here is my scenario.
1. Capture all the information from a form including an Email address and submit it to a servlet.
2. Now send a message to the browser that the request will be processed and mailed.
3. Now execute the request and give a mail to the mentioned Email.
Can this be done in any way even by calling another servlet from within a servlet or any other way.
Can any one Please help me out.

You can turn that feature off in Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars>Contacts>Show in App Switcher>Recents>Off.

How do I send a .pdf file in the body of email, not as attachment?

Hello to all you MAC geniuses out there. I am using Pages to design flyers for my business. Then exporting them to a pdf file and trying to figure out how to send them in the BODY of an email and not an attachemnt that they have to open. Not really sure if this is a mail or pages question. It is probably a very simple step I am missing, but never the less can't seem to fiugre it out. Thanks in advance!

You must take into consideration that HTML & PDF are very different formats with conflicting purposes: HTML is by design intended for flexibility in appearance in such things as font & location of displayed elements, & has no fixed page size. PDF is intended to produce WYSIWYG documents, exactly the same regardless of platform, but requires either the Adobe Acrobat application or a PDF plug-in to do so.
Because of this, there is no way to convert a PDF document into HTML that will completely preserve the PDF's appearance. You can more or less force elements into the same relative position using tables & other HTML features, but pagination cannot be preserved, since no HTML formatted documents will have page breaks.
You also should consider that the appearance of an email message depends on the application used to view it. Most email, including what Mail generates, follows a standard known as MIME 1.0. MIME is designed to identify each element in the message such that different applications can process them according to their capabilities. Thus, since Mail knows how to display image files like gifs, tiffs, or jpegs, they will be displayed as if they were embedded in the text if the MIME tags indicate they should be. Anything Mail doesn't know how to process into displayable text or images, such as PDF's, will be displayed only as an attachment. The same will be true for other email reading applications.
IOW, email is not WYSIWYG. Some apps will show displayable items inline, some won't, even if the MIME type is displayable on your Mac in Mail.
There are several ways you can deal with this. You can try to convert the PDF into HTML, as suggested earlier. You will probably have to tweak the HTML so generated with an editor to get the best results, & deal with such things as pagination, image conversion or resizing, so-called web safe colors, etc. (PDF's are compressed & usually optimized for high resolution printing; to keep the message size down, you may want to convert images to lower resolution jpegs.)
Or, you can convert the entire flyer to a jpeg or png image, which insures WYSIWYG output, but may make text harder to read.
Alternately, you can compose a new message as plain text or as HTML that refers to the PDF's content & either includes it as an attachment or furnishes a link to a web page that contains it. This allows you to reach the widest audience, including those who do not have a PDF app or plug-in.
Whatever you elect to do, remember that what you send in the email is actually a combination of content & instructions about how to deal with it, & that not all recipients will see it the same way, no matter what you do.

Sending a file to the Response failure

I have to send a file to the response for the browser to show a save/open file dialog box to the user, so he/she can download it and save in in his/her local file system. As expected the file is stored in a specific directory in the file system of the server.
What I did was to call this method within a commandLink component:

As I understand it you want to have more than 1 email address under your Apple ID. You can have what are called Alternate Email addresses associated with your Apple ID and this article will help you get those setup:
Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses
Alternate email address
You can add one or more alternate email addresses for use with Apple services such as Game Center, FaceTime, Find My Friends, iMessage, and OS X notifications.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
Add an alternate address:
Select Add Email Address, then enter your alternate address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
Edit an alternate address:
Select Edit next to the address, then enter the new address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
Delete an alternate address: Select Delete next to the address.
