Update a detail-detail View

I've created a JTree with the root nodes being the Master(Oracle Table Owners). The second level nodes are detail view(Oracle Tables owned by a Owner). Here's the problem: In a separate panel I've created a table that will ideally display the columns for a selected table name. Upon initial load of the application, the columns are populated. Once I try to drill down to a table, the table columns VO is blank and never to return. I tested the AM and all the relationships are setup correctly.
Do i need to explicitly tell the VO to refresh, seems odd?
Where should I start to discover where my problem is occurring?

Draggable download Icon and detailed cookie view?

Hi everyone
Since the Safari 5.1 update I discovered two issues that I just cannot look over.
1) Detail cookie view: As many of you may have noticed Apple made the cookie browser "more userfriendly" in terms of not showing cookies anymore but just saying "that there actually is stuff". I can look for cookies in the web inspector but that doesn't show all of the cookies I have. Seriously Apple, what the heck? Is there any way I can access and edit/delete cookies like I could before 5.1?
2) I cannot place the download icon where I want anymore. First thing is it doesn't appear anymore when there is nothing in the list but when there is it HAS to stay on the right. Here you go with my second "what the heck, Apple?"... I really cannot understand why you would ever want to do that.
Maybe some users have the right configuration info for me to fix this.. eventhough it would be Apple's task to improve it again.

That is the expected behavior and the only workaround is to download a "dummy" file (any small file like an icon or image) to keep the download icon on the toolbar.

My first suggestion would be to double check and make sure that the changes were saved in the payment information area of your account, to back and check to be sure.
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID> Tap your ID. Then Tap View Apple ID. Enter your password and go to Payment Information and check. Check the expiration date, biling address, security code, etc. and then save your changes.
If everything is done successfully, you will get an email from Apple notifying you that they received changes to your account and if these changes were not made by you... Etc, etc. When you get that email, you know that the changes have been confirmed.

Error while updating the Assignment details using 'hr_assignment_api'

An exception message is thrown while updating the assignment details through 'hr_assignment_api.update_emp_asg'.
The message is 'ORA-20001: HR_FLEX_VALUE_MISSING: N, COLUMN, ASS_ATTRIBUTE6, N, PROMPT'.
Even though a valid value is being passed to the segement,the error is thrown.
I have tested the API in one instance and it is working fine. Recently I have migrated the codes to nother instance and encountered this error. The only difference is that in the newer instance, the segment is mandatory.
One interesting thing is that, When I update the Assignment through application it is successfully saving the record. Then if I use the API to correct the Assignment, it is working fine. The API is not able to update only when the mandatory segment is null.

Goods Receipt DTW - Possible to update existing batch details?

Hello experts,
Using the three templates OIGE, IGE1, and BTNT I've managed to perform some Inventory Adjustments BY BATCH using DTW.
The issue I am having is that some of the fields in BTNT are not updating in SAP despite a successful DTW instance depending on whether the batchnumber is pre-existing or is new.
If the batch already exists, quantities are being receiving as expected but additional data such as "Notes", "InternalSerialNumber", and even some user-defined fields we have created for Appearance, Inventory Tag Number, etc. will not update. I have checked DTW mapping and it is setup correctly.
In fact, if the batch number defined in BTNT is NEW to the system these additional details load up as expected, only when it is a quantity update on the batch number do they not. I thought that since the quantity of a pre-existing batch is being update successfully via this method the other "Batch Details" should update as well.
Can anyone provide insight as to whether it is possible (and if so how) to update these batch details during a Goods Receipt or Goods Issue DTW for pre-existing batches or will it only do it for a brand new batch #?

Welcome you post on the forum.
I am afraid you could only update batch details when you imported them as new. You may only update the existing batch details through UI.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Power cycle the router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Regarding Updating Shipment Header Details in VT02N tcode

I have created a dialog program, inwhich iam populating shipment related details.
1st Screen: Selection screen fields:
billing Doc
Billing date
2nd Screen: Based on Billing Document number and date, i have to fetch Shipment details using Table Control like:
shipment number,        Output only
Forwarding Agent,      input/Output both -
editable
Shipment start Date,    input/Output both -
editable
Container id.                input/Output both -
editable
and i have created a button as "Update VT02N" on second screen.
When we choose Columns in table control and click on "Update VT02N", then it should trigger VT02N transaction and update the shipment details with following fields:
1. Forwarding agent
2. Container id
3. Shipment start Date.
So i waht to know any BAPI available to update Shipment Header details in VT02N tcode.
I have tried: BAPI_SHIPMENT_CHANGE -
NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
                    SD_SHIPMENT_SAVE -
NOT WORKING.
IF ANY BODY HAS SOME SOLUTION, PL SUGGEST WITH STEPS.

Have you called the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after executing BAPI_SHIPMENT_CHANGE , even then if it is not working
you can check the FM SD_SHIPMENT_HEADER_CHANGE.

Update Request User Details with updateRegistrationUserDetails

I have the following scenario: The Self-Registration form is defined with the fields First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Manager Login. When the request is created, based on the Manager Login, the other user's attributes are set according to the Manager's Attributes. So when the manager goes to approve the request, most of the user information are already set. To update the User Details in the request, I can call the updateRegistrationUserDetails of Request API.
Problem: I can not update the fields other than those defined in the FormMetadata.Xml. So I have to add the fields and set them as optional but I don't want to show non required fields to the end-user. I wish to have those attributes as not visible in the self-request form. Then I can update the information using the API.
Question: How to add fields to the User Details of the request and not show them in the self-request form?

As I've said, I could not update the request fields that were not declared in the FormMetadata.xml. You can try set them as not visible but I am not sure the visibile attribute works for the SelfRegistration form. If it is not a problem, you can show the fields and set them as optional true. In my exaple, the SelfReg form has a manager employee code field.

2) test if the request object action is Create Entity.

Cant Update iSupplier Bank details after approved,need to modify account no

I created the bank details in iSupplier and approved it. Now While trying to update the bank account number, in update page the field is not editable. The only fields that are editable are End dates and Bank Account Name. Is there a way i can make Account number field editable?
System on R12.1.3
Steps to reproduce:
1) Login to iSupplier
2) Go To Admin Tab
3) Click on Bank Details
4) Press Update for bank details with Approved Status
5) Account Number field is not editable
Any suggestions??

MSS Time Approval - Detailed approval view shows time data for different PN

Hi Experts,
We're using the standard MSS time approval without workflow and here're 2 issues we have:
There're multiple time records for multiple employees in MSS for approval.
1. When manager tried to select all the records for one employee and click the "Approve" button in the collective approval screen, then all the records will be approved including records of other employees.
2. When manager click the hours of one record for a certain employee to go to the detailed/individual view, other employee's time data will be displayed in the detailed view window.

1.Is it possible to change the Hours in detailed Approval view?
In CATS Approval WD, When Approver clicks on hours It will takes to Deatailed approval view, There is it possible to change the hours By Approver?. I need an option to change the hours entered by employee while approving.
Suppose Employee entered 10 hours for particular day and Released, When Approving Approver wants to change it to 9 hours and Approve. Is this possible in CATS approval via Portal?
2. How can I Change (Reject/Approve) the old records of workitem executed already in the past?
Approver might approved/Rejected some hours in the last month, Now he came to know that its wrong,
How can he reset that hours to Reject/Approve in the portal?

Probably transaction CATS_APPR_LITE will help. Using this report you can reset the approval. But you can do it from backend.
