Update contacts feature in Facebook iOS 6 not working properly

Hi!
I've been using the Update All Contacts feature in syncing my phonebook with Facebook. The feature worked for a time but it stopped and I'm not able to update my facebook friends in my Facebook. I tried manually syncing them by adding their @facebook.com emails or their contact numbers (whichever is visible in thier profile) but this has not solve the problem. I also tried resetting the feature by deleting the account on the Facebook integration feature and logging on again but it's still not working.
Any work arounds you can suggest? Thank you!

I'm convinced that this is a Facebook App problem. I'm using an iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1 and the latest version of the FB app. This happens on different WiFi networks and when I turn WiFi off and access FB via LTE. When I access my Timeline the last post I see is from January 24; soon afterwards I get the message "Network Error".
I have removed and reinstalled the app twice and removed my FB profile information from my phone. Each time I do this I reboot (not just power cycle) my phone. The same errors occur with each attempt.
I tried accessing FB using both Safari and Google Chrome on the iPhone 5; there are no errors reported and I can see my entire timeline. I'm losing the ability to "pull down to refresh" but I can get around that with one or two screen taps, so it's no great loss.
Also, as long as I have the FB app installed the iPhone intergration work fine - I just don't use the app.

No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

Push notification in fb official app is not working in my 501.. I've learned that it is the problem with old accounts.. Is it true..? Is there any way to solve this problem..??

This issue is with Facebook, not the app. There are some old accounts which don't get the option and then those are some new accounts which got the option. I don't know why it happens, but it just happens with no solution around.

Help! Slideshow feature in Elements 13 not working properly: Won't sync photos to music

Hi. I'm a photographer who recently updated my Photoshop Elements 11 to the new and "improved" 13. I upgraded specifically for the new advertised slideshow feature. I make these as a fun way to share Wedding Sneak Peeks with my Brides. But when I add photos to the slideshow and add a custom song, then click "Sync photos to music" a box pops up telling me it's working but then nothing ever happens. I can't even click back or cancel the operation. It freezes the entire program and forces me to shut down my computer. Please help! Am I doing something wrong here or is this a bug within the program?

I've also tried the following:
- rebuilding iPhoto's Library
- deleting the "iPod Photo Cache"
- resetting the sync history
... and this all didn't help at all.

Facebook Chat Not Working Properly For iPhone 4

I recently bought the iPhone for, and am having a pretty annoying problem with the Facebook App.
So, in my Facebook, I have a group for my friends (one group). Now, when I'm on chat for my iPhone, I can not see ANY of those friends in the group online.
I read around a bit, and was advised to try unticking the group, so all my friends were shown in one list.
Did that, but still no luck..can't see people from that original group online.
Any advice?

I've now gone as far as DELETING the list. So now, while on the computer, and under Facebook chat, ALL my friends appear under the same list.
Still have the same problem; can't see the friends from the old list when using my iPhone.

does any one knows how to fix it??

JMS UDD not working properly

First of all I new to weblogic world and started using it recently, the issue which we are facing is that we had a doc given by our client to create a weblogic JMS uniform distributed destination with queue. We followed it and everything came up properly. In our test env we have 2 Physical Machines on which each machine has a one node in a cluster and then we created JMS servers, connection factory with UDD. We started the nodes everything comes up properly.
But the issue starts when we tested it for the load balancing which I believe is a feature of UDD is not working properly. All the messages are going to the same node. The same documentation has been used by our client several times and it works fine for them.
What is the issue with our configuration? I have gone through the doc many times but cant find the issue.
Please help us.

I think there might be some issue with the communication between the 2 machines, check that out also check if you have disabled the Server Affinity Enabled

IPod Touch Not Working Properly After Front Screen and Housing Replacement

So my son left his iPod Touch 4th Gen on my back bumper and it fell off out in our dirt/gravel driveway. I finally found it, 7 days later, run over multiple times. Front screen and back housing were demolished as you can see, but it still worked fine (except rear facing camera was done). Ordered the rear camera, front screen and back housing assemblies off eBay from reputable sellers. Took it all apart and reassembled it. Bada bing! Everything was working fine: camera, speakers, touch screen, wi-fi, all of it, for about 2 days . It went from working perfectly, to being kinda glitchy (had to hold home and power to restart), to not turning on at all. I read somewhere that if you don't clean all metal to metal contacts, it may interfere and not work properly, so I just took it (almost) all apart again, cleaned the contacts, and it turned on and was working, but this time only for about half an hour. I've held down the home and power buttons for long periods of time, which sometimes got it to work, but now is not working at all. Any ideas on what might be going on??? Is the screen bad? Did I maybe miss a metal to metal contact (e.g. the power button, ribbon cable)? Any really important ones that you can tell me about? I really don't want to take it into the Apple store, but if I do, any ideas on a ruff guesstimate on what it's gonna cost me? Thanks for any help! I really appreciate it, I'd love to get this thing working for my 7 year old so I can have my d*** phone back!

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

It is not practicale to do this always any one faces the same problem

There may be a problem with the SIM card. Get a new SIM card from your carrier - there should be no charge for a replacement.
If no change with a new SIM card, the standard troubleshooting steps in order are:
Power your iPhone off and on.
An iPhone reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup.
If no change after any of these steps in order, your iPhone has a hardware problem.

Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection.
