Update installation fails

Question

When installing the update for Dreamweaver MX 2004 I got the
error message: the directory does not contain Dreamweaver even if
the program automatically selected this correct directory
(C:/Macromedia/Dreamweaver MX 2004 in my case)
What to do?

That usually means that the program is already up to date.
Click Help >
About Dreamweaver and see what version number is displayed.
If it's
7.0.1, you're using the latest version of MX 2004.
If it says 7.0.0, you need to contact Adobe Technical Support
if you
cannot install the updater. They might be able to determine
the problem
by checking the File Version of Dreamweaver.exe.
