  • Adobe Flash Player keeps popping up in IE11 just installed

Hi, I have Windows 7 Professional in my HP Notebook, during a recent windows update, IE11 was installed, now everytime I am in IE there is a window to allow Adobe Flash Player to download, I recently downloaded an update on AFP, what is going on?  this is very annoying, how can I stop this?  Thanks,
    Jose

When you go to certain web sites ( ABC.com video clips for example ) the ACTIVE X FILTER installed in IE 10 and IE 11 will block the video content. When it does, the web site ( ABC.com ) thinks you don't have Flash Player installed and offers to intall it for you. DO NOT use the TOOLS menu of IE to turn off ACTIVE X FILTERING. That will make you vulnerable to the malicious applets that the filter was disigned to protect you against.
Find the ADDRESS box on the top left of the IE browser page ( where http://forums.adobe.com appears ). On the far right of the box is a clockwise circular arrow that will REFRESH your current page. Immediately to the left of the REFRESH arrow is a small circle with a diagonal line thru it ( the universal symbol for negation as in NO LEFT TURN traffic sign ). Left click on the small circle and then click on the TURN OFF ACTIVE X FILTERING button that appears in the drop down box. I believe that will turn off the filtering for this one web page and for this visit only. That should solve your problem.

  • I keep getting "Attention! Your current version of Adobe Flash player is outdated! Your computer is vulnerable to malware now. Update your Adobe Flash player now" but I already have an updated version of adobe

It pops up randomly and won't let me click out of it. I'm certain it's malware or something like that, but I can't seem to stop it from happening. Below is a page that I'm directed to each time. I think all this started from me clicking on someone's tumblr page.
Here's another image from a different tumblr page. I'm afraid to download it because I don't know what it will do.

    You should ignore it.
You should updeate only either from System > Flash Player > Check Now
    or direct from Adobe site.
         Install Adobe Flash Player.

Chrome has built in Flash Player. This is bogus warning.

  • Why does my Adobe Flash Player keep crashing? I have taken the steps that I received in the "Learn More" section of the crash but it still crashes.

I open an application that requires Flash Player but it always crashes. I can use it for maybe five minutes but after that it keeps on crashing, I have the latest version of Flash Player as the article on "Learn More" has said to but that didn't help. Can anyone help me?

  • Adobe Flash Player keeps crashing in Google Chrome

I am using Google Chrome and every time I open the browser Adobe Flash Player keeps crashing.  I have Windows 7.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Hello,
Just chiming in to say that I am experiencing the same issues.
    using Win 7, Firefox 19.0, Flash 11.6.602.168
    Tried the DRM fix,
Tried uninstalling Firefox and Flash, restarting Win 7, reinstalling Firefox and Flash
Tried reinstalling display and my NVidia drivers.
Still getting "Sorry we were unable to stream this video" message.
    Also having problems on Chrome.
Some troubleshooting threads suggest to go to chrome://plugins and disable the chrome flash player.
When i disable the chrome flash player and try to play an amazon instant video, I get the "Sorry we were unable to stream this video" message.
When i disable the system flash player and try to play an amazon instant video, the video plays but 'stutters.'  The audio is fine, but the video alternately pauses and plays for a second or two over and over again.
AIV works just fine on my iPad.
For everyone viewing, please take 30 secs to create an account and let Adobe know that their product is causing problems for your Amazon service.
This needs to get fixed asap!
    Thanks
    V.

  • I reset my apple ID password here on the website, but my computer isn't recognizing my new password. what should I do? I just need to update my adobe flash player but it keeps asking me for my password but won't take my new password I just updated.

    Model Name: iMac
      Model Identifier: iMac12,1
      Processor Name: Intel Core i5
I reset my apple ID password here on the website, but my computer isn't recognizing my new password. what should I do? I just need to update my adobe flash player but it keeps asking me for my password but won't take my new password I just updated.

"If you've forgotten the Apple ID password how did you log in to make the last post?"
Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.
As far as the link you provided, I already looked to that for help earlier. It states:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Users & Groups, click the lock to unlock it, then provide an administrator name and password. Select a user, then click Reset Password.
I did these steps, but I don't remember my admin password. The question is: How do I reset my admin password so I can reset my log in password.
Is my admin password the same password I use to log onto this website to post questions? If so, like I said previously, I already reset that password and my computer isnt recognizing it.

  • HT2128 I keep on getting updates for Adobe Flash Player.app, are these safe to download?

I keep on getting messages to download updates for Adobe Flash Player.app however, I always get a warning message since it is an application downloaded from the internet and the question "Are you sure you want to open it?" Are these safe to download, or shall I cancel it? Perhaps it is best to go to the Adobe site? Any recommendations? Thank you very much.

It can be easier to remove Adobe Flash Player from OS X entirely, and be done with the effort involved.  Adobe has a tool to remove Flash Player from OS X available.  (If you really need Flash capabilities, there's a version embedded in the Chrome web browser that might suffice.)
As for your question, if you have gone directly to the Adobe web site (by entering the URL in Safair, and not by clicking on anyting in email or on another web site), and have downloaded Adobe Flash Player updates from there, then you're reasonably safe.
If you've downloaded the Adobe update bits from the Adobe site (and again, not from any other site), then clicking through the "yes, I know I downloaded this" is probably safe.

  • Adobe flash player keeps crashing after everything listed in the help page was applied

My Adobe flash player keeps crashing regardless that all steps listed in help menu were applied several times.

Try to uninstall and reinstall Flash
See this about uninstalling Flash players:

*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

my flash player keeps popping up - how can I stop this?

What do you mean by "popping up"?
    Is it an update notification?
Is it an Internet Explorer notification (This site wants to load content using Flash Player)?
    We need to know.
    What browser?
    What OS?

I was prompted by Firefox to update my adobe flash player on 12/23/11, which I did. Ever since then the web site has frozen and/or crashed. I run a internet business and can't have this continue. I uninstalled the flash player and the problems have stopped. I would like to reinstall the earlier version of adobe, since that didn't seem to impact the web site.
