Update Retriever - Missing Intel Management Engine Interface Driver for Lenovo Twist (334725RU)

I am left with two unknown devices in Device Manager. It appears to be the Intel Management Engine Interface Driver, which is unavailable in Update Retriever. I see it on the website as gars04ww.exe.
Please add this to the repository.
Thanks,
Hans

Intel MEI/HECI is the device driver for the Intel vPro feature set, it is used for out-of-band management and support, for business/companies/enterprises to perform remote management/maintenance/repairs on systems which have failed, e.g. Windows won't start,
vPro can be used to perform remote rebuild, remote access to BIOS/firmware settings, boot-over-LAN, remote KVM, etc. If your computer isn't part of an enterprise network with central/remote IT support, it's not really a loss to you...

I tried to install Intel Management Engine Interface driver in windows via an app or via floppy or via a supplied ISO, but it didnt do much else. How can I fix the find an updated driver for this device and make it work properly?
Regards to all and thanks for your help.

1, the corresponding motherboard BIOS file, you can back up from the previous BIOSaccess can also be found to the official website of the motherboard BIOS file types
2, download and install the appropriate BIOS update tool brands.
3 SLIC2.1 file download OEM makers, OEM key, OEM certificate (such as Hewlett-Packard).
4, the SLIC 2.1 and SLP files downloaded brushes into the BIOS.
    You can try it

When you get information about download from Toshiba download page it is safe and tested. Necessary? I don't think so. I presume you use original recovery image and all important components are already installed and configured.
If your system runs well and stabile you don't need to change anything. You can install it if you want to have latest version but you will not make some big mistake if you don't install it.

  • Intel Management Engine Interface necessary ?

    Please,
    For P67A-GD55 Rev B3, with I7 2600K (Sandy Bridge)
Is the installation of Intel Mangement Engine Interface driver necessary ?
If Yes, What is the preferable version ? 7 or 8 ?
Is it advised to install the latest Intel version or the version provided by MSI ?
    Thank you for your responses.

Yes, the Intel Management Engine is an integral part of the 6 series chipset. The driver is important. If running a Sandy Bridge CPU, then it must be the 7 version unless the UEFI/BIOS has been updated to a version that supports Ivy Bridge CPU's. The ones from MSI are pretested on your mainboard, so the decision is yours to use newer versions from Intel or not.

I need some specific information about your computer before I can tell you exactly what to do.
Please download and install Speccy. Once that is done, then start it up. Once it is done analyzing, click on File and then on Save Snapshot. Save the snapshot to your desktop and then right click on it and select Send To and then Compressed (Zipped) Folder. I will send you a PM on what to do with the file.
