Updated my iPad and can't get past agreeing to t&c as the part on my screen where u have to agree is broke. Is there any way around this or will it only be resolved when screen is fixed?
Try a device reset and start over again with the setup.
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
Re-reading the post, I now see your issue more clearly...can you rotate the screen (be sure Orientation Lock is disabled) to have the "agree" tap-able section in a different physical place (out of the bad section) on the screen so the bad part of the screen will be in a different area? Give that a try.

Let's start with what you are trying to install. Adobe Reader is free, so it won't be forcing you to buy anything. So
- What are you trying to install (full name, please, Adobe make lots of things)
- What system (e.g. Windows 7, Mac OS Lion, iPad...)
- Where do you go (what web address) to start off?
- Why were you "forced" to do this? -
Want to play tv shows purchased on iPad on Apple tv. When I touch icon for apple tv and choose "apple tv" it asks for an apple tv password. We have never set up any password and can't get past this screen. Does anyone know how to find this password?
You can remove the Airplay password from the Settings menu on your AppleTV.

Claudius,either you didn't read my post, or you jumped to conclusions. I had a skype account that was created using a microsoft account (NOT THE ACCOUNT I AM USING NOW). PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. What caused you to get the impression that I was writing something else? furthermore this sentence - "The solution you described in your initial message isn't actually once since all the time you were operating on different account that weren't actually linked" does not make sense, I think you mis-edited it.and I need to point out that you are incorrect. I still don't know how you can misread my initial entry like that. If you have a better solution to my initial problem - changing the primary mail of a skype account created throuth either a microsoft account or a facebook account, Please write a sticky to explain how to do it, and please inform skype support that Yes it can be done, and this is the way it is done. So far my "lucky shot" seems to be the only way to do it.

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
How do I get the iTunes festival to play on my Apple TV in the evening, as I work during the day and can't watch it at 4:00pm? I have the app installed on my iPad and can't get it to play!

If you have iOS 5 already installed on your iPad then you don't need to update the iPad - if you are on iOS 4 or lower then you will need to update if you want those apps as they now have iOS 5 as a requirement.
If you have a Mac then in order to update to iOS 5 you will need iTunes 10.5+ and Mac OS X10.5.8 or higher. If you have a PC then you will iTunes 10.5+ and Windows 7, Vista or XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later. -

Is the app compatible with the iPhone (i.e. it's not an iPad-only app) and do you have the relevant iOS version on your iPhone ? Does it show in the Purchased section in the App Store app on the phone for you to download it (re-downloading) ?

I got a new iPad and can't get my music or videos from the cloud or iTunes. Every time I download all my music & a video then click on music it says I don't have any music & I can purchase music on iTunes. I go to iTunes click purchased and download again. It shows everything downloaded so I open music and get the same message - no music. The same happens with videos. Am I missing a setting or something?

bought a used Mac Mini and can't get past security password Seller refuses to answer emails. is there a keyboard command to take it back to factory settings or do I need to buy a Disc set and OS???
You can bypass the password and wipe the drive and return to the original facory installation if the seller included the orginal install DVDs with the Mac mini. If not you will need a retail version of Mac OS X. To boot from the Install DVD restart the mini, immediately slip in the DVD and press and hold the C key.

Hold down the home and lock buttons until you see an Apple Logo, then release the buttons.
If that doesn't work, you should check to see if you have a backup because you may have to restore your device. -

Without the correct password you are not going to be able to get into the drive. I recommend you try to remember the password or you will have to erase the drive in order to use it again. -

The only time I've ever seen that happen is when creating a NetBoot volume from an Install DVD, and forgetting to create a user account. This leaves the system in a state where you can't log in, because there is no account to log in to.
