I have a Mac and can no longer minimize the firefox window by double clicking the title bar into my dock since I updated to Firefox's latest version. How do I get this feature back?
I've always been able to minimize all my windows by double clicking the title bar. Yes, I could click the yellow button -- I just want the old feature back because I do it so automatically. Now when I double click the title bar it opens a new tab. I was able to do this with all the previous versions of Firefox as well.

I used the proxy settings add-on to access the company server and wi-fi with my Android 2.36 phone.
This morning I updated Firefox. The add-on doesn't work anymore. I uninstalled it and went to the add on website to reinstall what I thought must be a new version. This add-on doesn't seem to exist anymore.
How do I change proxy settings with the new version of Firefox for Android?The author of the add-on will need to update their version to be compliant with our newly rewritten Firefox for Android product.
The new version of Firefox does not provide a user-interface for manipulating proxy settings.
On the other hand, you can manipulate these settings yourself at your own discretion by visiting the URL about:config and searching for network.proxy

my firefox info shows that I am using 10.0.2 but I keep getting a repeated message when I open it saying I'm not using the most recent version.

You may see that message below the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old Firefox default home page. That page is no longer being maintained by Google.
You should try changing your home page to:
about:home
If you don't know how to change the home page, you should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]].

When I open the web browser I cannot see the whole page and I cannot move the image sideways and must use the mouse scroll to move up and down.
Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox. -
29.01 update is TERRIBLE! New interface sucks! FF loads like I'm on dial-up. I changed nothing but but updating FF. Thia has never happened before. Please send me instructions to get this POS off my machine and instructions to get the last version back on, or I will be forced to switch to a different browser. I can no longer recommend FF to other users. I always made clients replace IE with FF, not anymore until this situation is resolved. We should not have to change anything (firewall permissions, etc.) if the old versions were working fine. I won't no other instructions to fix this, other than to roll back to previous version. Mozzilla was one of the few companies I had no problem updating when new updates came out, for fear of the update cocking things up. Apparently, not anymore. Even you now have to be added to my list that has to be researched and wait before I apply an update! It's a sad, sad day for Mozilla.

I constantly have to restart my computer to get my iTunes to open. Does anyone know of a solution?
Here are the two ways that I run apps as admin in Win 7. Would recommend trying the first method to see if it works before you use the second method.
First: I use this one if I only need to do it occasionally (you may find this way tedious after a few days). Right click on iTunes and the context menu will pop up. Click on "Run as administrator" then another popup will open asking you to confirm if you want to allow iTunes to have admin privilleges (this happens every time any app requests higher privelliges), choose yes and if our issues are the same iTunes should load.
Second: The semi-permenant method, again I'd say try the other method first to see if this will work for you. Right click on iTunes like before but choose Properites, then go to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom you have the ability to give iTunes admin privilleges every time it loads. Check that box, then click apply then OK. You will still see the box I mentioned earlier (I can't get a screen shot of it) asking if its ok to run with higher rights, but this way is a couple of clicks less.

had updated the browser and installed some plug ins like persona two days back and since FF has been acting funny.
Problem with java scripts on multiple sites and also with the menu bar. The links just dont work, they work fine with IE- which i dont paritcularly like! when I click on one of the menu bar items like tools, sometimes all that comes is an empty 3 d drop down box!
Should i reinstall FF?
Tried pop ups and also disabled the themes and an ad blocker I had downloaded.Have the same problem, Firefox won't even run YouTube

I am experiencing blackouts on all pages. It can occur in blocks or be the whole page. It appears when running my cursor over the page or when scrolling. Scrolling again or leaving and then returning to the page sometimes helps. I have updated to the latest version and I have unchecked the hardware acceleration feature, however the problem remains.

Have you also tried Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away? [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings, disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:

Hey, I'm having trouble launching Itunes, I wanted to updated but it didn't open so I wento to this page and downloaded the latest version, and now Itunes doesen't want to launch again. Uninstalling or reinstalling the iTunes application won't affect your music (data) -- but it's always a good idea to have a backup!

I just updated iTunes to the latest version and now I can't play more than half of my songs. When I click on a song it comes back and states that it can't find it and prompts me to try and locate it. I don't know where to look. Help!!!!
