Updates will not down load.

I have a Macbook Pro and an iMac, both with OXS 10.9.5 and no matter what I try both set of updates will not down load.
I have CS5 Extended on both computers. Neither one will down load the updates. Below is the message I keep getting. Any ideas?

The Adobe auto updates were so unreliable before CS6, that they were useless. The Adobe updater team in India somewhat got their act together with CS6 and regressed back to their abysmal incompetence in CC and CC2014.
The reality is that you are going to have to locate, download and install any updates to CS5 yourself and apply them manually yourself.
Use Google and add "site:adobe.com" without the quotes to your keywords to restrict your searches to the Adobe website.

You should be able to play films on windows computers, if it wasn't compatible with it (e.g. you should have got an error if you tried to buy an HD film on non-HD compatible computer).
The current version of iTunes is 11.4 - you can see if there are any updates available via the Help > Check For Updates menu option.

What happens when you try to play the film, and do other videos that you have in your iTunes play ok ?

I tried again this morning. All I see is a white screen with the words "iTunes Store" in the center of it, in gray. When I click on store at the top, and then "Home", the top of the browser says "Accessing iTunes Store" with a progress meter that goes halfway, stops and then it turns into the black Apple logo. Same thing happens when I try to click on that little house icon.
Do you guys see album covers in there, or what? I downloaded the itunes software yesterday to my desktop AND laptop, and I am experiencing the same problem on BOTH computers. I am running Vista Home Premium, on DSL.

I finally figured out that I could access the iTunes store from my iPod (duh!!) last night, but I'd like to be able to do this on my PC too. So it's larger and easier to see.

Bear in mind that 5233 does NOT have embedded GPS chip, which is why in Menu > Applications > Location > Positioning > Positioning methods there is only choice of Bluetooth GPS or Network based, the latter being insufficient for navigation purposes.

I can not down load some music from my cds onto macbook air via super drive. These cds can be down loaded onto other computers but they are rejected by my computer.

I'm sorry to hear that . I was lucky that mine was under warranty. It was a bad drive and the replacement drive that was sent by HP works perfectly. My experience with HP support was very good. It took a bit of time to work through all the questions, but once we determined that it was bad, they promptly sent a new one out.
Since Geek squad gave you bad information, i.e., the DVD/CD drive really was bad, can you speak to them? They may be able to help with a good drive in the interest of good customer service. The only other option that I can think of that might work is to try to find an inexpensive used drive from one of the local computer shops in your area or on the net.

I have downloaded addons download helper. when I select a video to down load a blank scree appears where video should be and the three rotating balls stop moving and I cant down load anything.
