Updating problem...I have a update that starts out going through but then does not finish just keep running
also with the update problem it says software update and below the running bar it says connecting to the server
Please do the following:<br><br>
#Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/?ref=logo Download Firefox 4.0.1] and download a fresh installation file to the desktop.<br><br>
#Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box'').<br><br>
#Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox<br><br>
#Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.<br>
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.

Try deleting the entries from the Movies part of your library (i.e. where you are trying to play them) and see if you get the cloud symbol next to them for re-downloading in the Purchased link
As your screenshot shows your account id I've asked the hosts to remove it -

I'm sure the problem is sweat getting into the apple supplied headphone "remote." Basically even the smallest drop can slide down the wire and get into the unit.
Unfortunately I haven't found a solution other than to get a Belkin remote adapter and some sport headphones. This doesn't give you voice over, but you can still control the volume, skip, etc.
I've been doing this for a couple weeks now and it hasn't had a freak out since. -

I updated my iTunes to version 11.1.4.62, but it does not detect my iPhone 4s any more. I have tried the following ways but still did not work:
Rebooted the computer
Rebooted the iPhone
plugged and unplugged the USB cable multiple times and to various USB ports
Uninstalled and installed the i-Tunes
Signed out the iTunes and signed in again
my USB cable and ports are all ok
my ios version on iPhone is : 7.4.4
my laptop os is windows 8.1 and my processor is: Intel Core i7-3610QM @ 2.30 GHz

Go to Windows 8.1 Control Panel.
Go to Hardware and Sound; Devices and Printers; Device Manager; Portable Devices (look for Apple IPad)
Right-click, then select properties on the menu list.
Under the "Driver" tab menu, confirm the update driver button is not greyed out. If the update driver button is grey and unselectable, you need to select and click "Change Settings" button located near the lower left corner.
Now you can click the "Driver" tab menu near the top, so you can see the "Update Driver" button.
Select "Update Driver".
Select and click "Browse my computer for driver software".
For Windows 8.1 64 bit, it should be located in the folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Click Next, and let the driver re-install.
iTunes 11.1.4.62 should open automatically if your iphone is connected already. -
This morning I opened firefox as usual and found that a sidebar for bookmarks on the left side of this page. I did not request this to open and I want it removed from my computer. I do not like the way it uses up the space on the page. I have tried to open firefox in safe mode but his did not clear it. If I can not remove this sidebar I will want to close firefox.
There should be a little 'x' Close button in the top right corner of the sidebar.
Alternatively, Ctrl + B will close it too. -
I have a Yamaha RX-A2010 A/V receiver which is connected to internt but it does not receive my itunes from my Mac computer.
Well, I see a few things that can be in the way:
1. MAC address filtering is really not a security measure since the MAC addresses are sent in the clear (unencrypted) and many devices can have their MAC addresses changed easily with software. I'd recommend losing the MAC filtering and just use WPA2 and be even more secure than you are currently.
2. If you disabled the firewalls during the install, that may have been a bad thing. The installer is supposed to create ports through the firewalls during install, so if they are disabled and later enabled, the ports are not there.
3. Does your printer show up if you type its IP into a browser?

Updating Lightroom 5.5 to 5.6 it says it installs but it does not?
I am trying to update my Lightroom 5.5 to the latest upgrade of 5.6, and it says it is installed but then it is not?
Any idea why or what I need to do.Im on 10.7. 5 ..I had the same problem with my iPad 2 - in Switzerland. I did not have the care prtection plan for iPad but the device itself still had full guarantee options. They exchanged my iPad 2 for a new one.
This problem seems to be common for iPad 2 devices. Even by removing the SIM from the tray and re-inserting it does not change anything. I think - though not sure of - that the tray contacts deform themselves somehow over the time or get corrupted in another way, maybe the detection chip gets some malfunction, too. I did not find any possible solution to this an owner could do on his own by dealing with the hardware so I suppose You will have to get Yourself a new device. Anyway, You could try to collect as many cases like Yours from the internet and show these to an Apple representative in an Apple store, maybe You will get a refurbished iPad 2 for free or at least good conditions, otherwise You will have to move over to an iPad 3.
Sorry that I can not provide a better solution but as already mentioned this seems to be a standard problem in iPad 2 devices somehow... -
My IPhone 3GS will not now join wifi, this is a very recent problem. It finds my network but does not download the IP Address hence when I load password Join remains grey. I have tried all the fixes suggested I.e. network reset, airplane on then off but still nothing. I also have another iPhone of the same type and an iPad and they are just fine so I know it is not a router problem. Please please what do I do?
Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

According to the help page i was viewing my Late 2011 13' MacBook Pro should support Airplay Mirroring. However the airplay icon does not appear on my menu bar like i says it should and when i go to System prefereneces>Display nothing appears there about Mirroring as well (like it says it should). The help page specifically says that Late 2011 MacBook Pros should support Mirroring etc...

Airplay needs 10.8 or later, you need to update your operating system. -
For some reason I am unable to download apps. I have downloaded several apps in the past but all of a sudden my I Phone 4S will not download. i can not sync my ipad mini device to my laptop computer. everytime i try to connect my device to my computer, it prompts me that my device need a itunes version 10.7, but whenever i try to download the required version, my device does not download itunes. how can i do it? please help.
You do realize that the message means that you need to download iTunes on the computer and not on the iPad - correct? I just want to make sure that you know that.
