Upgrade the forms 11.1.1.4 to forms 11gR2

How we can upgrade the oracle Fussion Middleware 11.1.1.4 to oracle forms11g R2.

As mentioned, if this is not a production environment or is an environment with configurations that can be easily added back in manually, I would start clean. Meaning, remove the old installation and install new. On the other hand, if this is a prod environment with lots of customizations then upgrading may be better (but only if a complete system backup is created before starting).
Whichever you choose to do, you will need WLS 10.3.5 if you plan to use FMw 11.1.2

Im signed into my account on Forms Central, but it is still telling me I only have one free form and need to upgrade to the annual Adobe Xl Pro package to get unlimited forms / responses. This isnt included in my monthly membership price for CC?

FormsCentral won't help with flattening a form. You could set up the form in Acrobat so that the fields are set to read-only, using JavaScript. Not quite the same as flattening but it's the best Reader can do.
Note that when Reader is used to e-sign a document, it gets flattened, but this won't be possible if you need to Reader-enable the form and under certain other conditions.

To bring all the location to a common platform, management has decided to implement / upgrade Primavera EPPM P6 R8.3 and also planned to integrate Primavera P6 R8.3 EPPM with Oracle (EBS) Projects application . Hence, If any of you implemented Primavera P6 EPPM R8.3 or upgraded the earlier versions to Primavera P6 R8.3. Please share your ideas and also the pros and cons of implementing R 8.3 EPPM. For your information we are going to have SQL database since all the existing databases are in SQL.

we have done a lot of implementations and migrations to the P6 EPPM R8.3 from different former versions and this is working fine. the dbsetup does a good job.
A good way in my point of view is to set up a new P6 EPPM R8.3 system with a new PMDB Instance which will keep the configurations so that you easily can migrate or exchange the instances. Always remind to have a validated backup of any instance before migrating.
Before migration you should mind the following points:
The source version of the old P6 PMDB instance is:
P6.2.1 or before => first you need to migrate it to P6 V7.0 before you can migrate it to P6 R8.3
P6 V7.0 => check if you have used P6 WebAccess: if not okay, else check if you used jackrabbit (look for migration tool), Workflows (close all before migrating); Check if using Jobservice XER-Export (no longer available); Jobservice Batchreport (only Workaround available see Knowledgebase); Risks in the P6 Client (need to be manually migrated)
P6 R8.0 to R8.2 => Using Extended Schema, Enterprise Reporting Database, own BI Publisher Reports => Check stept to be taken for migration
Other questions are:
Which authentication method will you use (native, LDAP, SSO)? If not using native and you want to connect the BI Publisher then you need also to use that authentication there.
The migration itself is pretty easy if you take care that all sessions are closed (no users or unclosed primavera sessions settings on that instance, stop all Applications, interfaces or Services connected to the instance. Cleanup your refrdel_deletes, logical_deletes and (if used before), extended Schema tables.
Then you can migrate with dbsetup, use additional Service Packs and Fixpacks (actually Service Pack 1) on the instances and then you can connect them into the environment by adding it to the P6 Configuration.
I mentioned you don't want to put all data into one final PMDB-Instance.

How to upgrade the schema on both the sites using sql scripts?

I need some help.
I have two sites SITE A and SITEB, on both the sites GG is installed and running (DML Bi- directional replication). I have schema SCHEMA1 on both the sites which are configured for replication and replication is working from last one year.
Now I wanted to upgrade the SCHEMA1 on both the sites. There are three .sql script which has many SQL commands like create table, create sequence, create procedure, insert record etc. I wanted to run that SQL file one both the sites.
So should I stop all the process on both the sites SITEA and SITE B (including manager process) ,execute the SQL scripts on both the sites and then start the process again ? Will it work?
Is there any other best way to do this?
Could you please suggest the steps so that I can successfully execute theses scripts on both the site to upgrade the schema1.

There is no blanket answer here; it depends. Main questions are:
1. Do the SQL scripts update existing tables?
2. Are you replicating DDL in one direction? (DDL should only be replicated one way even when doing bi-directional, do DDL should only be issued on the node capturing DDL
3. Are you using a wildcard (*) from table names or using an explicit list?
Easiest thing is if you're replicating DDL from A to B and apply DDL to A only. This assumes that the application writing to these tables can handle DDL changes under the covers. If these are new tables supporting new application features then you would simply enable said features after apply sql files.
From there it gets more complicated and would need answers to the above questions before going down each line of logic. But try to remember what's really going on here. Data in one form (DDL) is being captured and send along. If the "shape" (DDL) of that data changes then the extract and replicat need to update their meta data to handle it correctly. If change data encounters a different shape than what's cached then you will become out of sync.
I'm not sure if that makes sense but again, the answers to the questions above will be indicate where more detailed explanations should be focused. In short, we need more detail about what those scripts do and your current setup.

ThinkCentre USFF M57P 9071-A8U: I Want to Upgrade The Graphic Video Card

Hello guys. I currently own an IBM Lenovo ThinkCentre M57p 9071A8U ultra small factor form. I already upgrade the CPU bios to 2RKT64BUS (01/08/14), an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz Quad-Core, 4GB PC2-6400 memory ram and Windows 8.1. The integrated Intel Q35 Express video Chipset is great but I want to upgrade it. The system comes with a PCI-Express slot and a PCI slot riser on it. I actually changed the riser to a PCI/ADD2-R Riser V3.1 Adapter Card PCI-E:

I had to do some adaptations to make this riser fit, but the system accepted the riser and all drivers were properly installed. This riser allows to install a PCIE x1 card. I bought a Lenovo 41T2725 ATI X1600 Pro 256MB Video Graphics Card (GV-RX16PIU-RH LVK-X1600):

ATI does not support Windows 8 for this graphic card but I used Windows 7 64 bit drivers and software for this. I connect my monitor to the X1600 VGA port. The problem is that the computer boots until the Windows 8 logging screen and after that the screen gets black only showing the mouse cursor. At that particular point, if I unplug my monitor from the X1600 VGA port and plug it to the M57P VGA port, I can see and use Windows normally. But if I leave the computer plugged to the M57P VGA port, I would not see the ThinkCentre bios screen nor the Windows 8 logging screen. The screen is black until the Windows operating system screen. The Intel Q35 integrated video does the opposite of the X1600. This very confusing. I have tried playing with the bios video section but nothing has changed.
I really would like to upgrade my video card on my system. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanking you in advance,

Purchased a Trial Version of FormsCentral, then purchased the full Version, will it affect my forms?

I am just making sure that it will not affect my forms once the trial version expires (i turned off auto renewal). I did purchase the full version for 14.99 a month and kept that on auto renewal, so as of right now if you look at my services it says I have 2 products, one trial version and one full version. Once the trial expires, do I just wait until the full version auto renews? I dont think I should have any issues with my forms or anything but just want to make sure ahead of time, so I do not loose all the work I put into making these forms. Thank you

I'm a little confused buy the "says I have 2 products" part but assuming the AdobeID (email address used for the account) is the same for both instances of the paid subscription then you should be OK. You will not lose any forms, nothing would be deleted, but if something does go funny with the "upgrade" and your account is ever not behaving like a paid account let me know and I will make sure it gets straightened out.

I have registered ClientID from my site and used same client id while creating package for SharePoint provided host app. For some reasons my client got deleted from azure.
My app contains some azure service related calls.
Command I have executed to get the app principal id:

- Go to Settings>Store and make sure are signed into your account. Then try to update your app. Make sure you update only your app, not update all.
- To update the other app you will have to sign into that account.
- If there are apps that need updating that were purchased form more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased by one account.

It isn't that risky. You may be reading hundreds of posts here about problems, but that is out of MILLIONS of iPhones that have been upgraded. Percentage-wise, that means most people have no problem.
However, as with any major change to your system, you should back up everything your iPhone first. Just right-click it in iTunes to get the backup menu. That will be your safe fallback position in case something goes wrong.
I still use an iPhone 3GS. That's older than your iPhone. But iOS 5 works fine on it.

After upgrade date selection does not work in xml forms

Hi Experts,
since we upgrade the portal from 7.0.19 to 7.0.24 we have a problem with the timestamp in the xml forms in combination with IE7. When we click on the date selction button, the date screen appears and the form disappears. The only option we can choose is cancel and then the date selection screen disappears and the form is not comming back. Selecting a date en choose ok does not work. I tried with IE6 then it works fine. Before the upgrade it works fine with IE7.
How to solve this?

I think the addon is corrupted. have you reinstall B1 addon ? if you have reinstalled but it is still as same, I suggest to upgrade the B1 version and the addon to the latest i.e. SAp B1 8.8 SP00 PL16. You can also log a message to SAP support but test this case first in the SAP B1 8.8 SP00 PL16 environment.

What's the right tool to use to migrate forms modules.?

I'm in doubt deciding which might be the right tool to use to migrate forms modules from 6i to 10g.
The obvious choice seems to be Forms Migration Assistant. However I found Metalink Note: 201344.1 which clearly states :
"We recommend to use ifcmp90 as there may arise some issues due to the migration assistant ifplsqlconv90. ifcmp90 upgrades the 6i fmb to 9i fmb whereas ifplsqlconv90 upgrades obsolete plsql , such as built-ins like set_alert_property. So it is advisable to use the ifcmp90 instead"
I have a newer version of FMA and i've done some test and it compiles and upgrades forms modules, but does not generate fmx files. So i conclude one should user FMA first and later generate fmx files either one by one or batch compile.
Please any comments are welcome ....!

correct. You use FMA first and then compile the FMX files. You can also use the Forms builder environment to perform the migration, but FMA is more convenient to use.

Yes, it's old legacy syntax. The recommended syntax is:
...Rule> ($SWVER != 1.2.1(004))?http ...
Unfortunately, such type of conditional doesn't work reliable most times for me (althougth I didn't tested the particular one from your example).
I don't know why.
I suspect, that firmware numbers like 7.4.9c or 7.5.2b may be source of problem - Cisco's Provisioning guide claim that version numbers take form of three non-negative numbers separated by periods followed by optional alphanuberic string in parthenses. It's not true for some released versions. May be, the comparsion logic doesn't handle those broken version numbers correctly.

Hello. I have a 533Mhz, SP, G4(Digital Audio) Mac. I would like to updrade the processor. Considering a Sonnet Tech. upgrade. Can I upgrade to a dual processor? Any advice would be appreciated.

FifthWheel's advice is good, but periodically ensuring the fans and ventilation holes are free from dust and cat hairs etc, and making sure the computer isn't in an enclosed space, are probably good ideas anyway. Processor upgrades do generate more heat and Apple have modified their G4 case designs over time to handle it, including more fans and ventilation holes etc, especially with the MDD/FW800 models. However, there are plenty of people out there using third party processor upgrades in earlier models without any heat related problems. I personally wouldn't worry about it unless I was also upgrading the graphics card to a Radeon 9800 etc, which also generates plenty of heat.
I guess only you can decide whether a processor upgrade makes sense. IMHO mid range upgrades such as a single 1.4-1.5GHz 7455 based upgrade offers the most bang for the buck. More expensive upgrades are available, but because you'll still be stuck with a 6+ year old logic board design with a relatively slow system bus and memory etc, you'll almost certainly get deminishing returns for the extra outlay.

If you do buy a (brand) new machine, keep in mind they're now Intel based. Most of your existing PowerPC based software should run under Rosetta, albeit with a performance hit, which may be offset by the faster architecture anyway. Other software may already be available as a universal binary, capable of running natively on both PowerPC and Intel based Macs, either in the form of a free download or a paid upgrade.
