Upgrading to 4.0.1 changes license from Premium to Standard

I'm running a volume licensed version of Flash Builder 4 part of the CS5 Web Premium suite. After updating to Flash Builder 4.0.1, it now loads as Flash Builder Standard. Is that just the title that is showing incorrectly on the start screen and about page, or have I somehow magically been downgraded from Premium to Standard?

I'm definitely downgraded to standard. When I go to Flex Unit it tells me I need a Premium license.
So far this has happened on 2 computers. One (win XP sp3) with Flash Builder pre-installed and then CS 5 installed and one (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) with no Abode products installed until all of CS 5 was installed. It can`t just be you and I who have experienced this.

As I remember some of the posts long ago, I am not sure the possibility for upgrade is too good. At one point as I recall you essentially had to pay the upgrade cost. All of this is from a not too good memory and I agree that the only way to find out for sure is to call Adobe. It would be useful for us if you reported back on what you find out.

Upgrading from Premium to Standard and Visa Versa

Hi all
Our upgrading issues rumble on here at my workplace!
We currently have 2 machines which are installed with CS2.
We have (due to ordering issues - mistakes!) 1 x CS2 - CS5 STANDARD upgrade and 1 x CS5 to CS5.5 PREMIUM upgrade.
My question is, if we upgrade our PREMIUM CS2 to a STANDARD CS5, can we then upgrade again using the PREMIUM CS5-CS5.5?
My question is one of compatibility!

Unfortunately, no. You can generally return unopened software within 10-14 days, but there is no way to "upgrade" a single-user license.

Changing Licenses from CS5.5 to Audition 3 or earlier

I'll get straight to the point. Buying Adobe CS5.5 was a huge mistake. Is it possible to "return" Adobe CS5.5 and download Audition 3.0 or earlier?

I don't believe Adobe has Audition 3 available for purchase any longer. It may still be available at some retailers or used.

AV not working after changing account from admin to standard

So I have a user account that was set as administrator. I removed admin privileges from that account and made it into a standard account. A few days later I noticed that I could no longer video chat with anyone (though I could chat via typing). I rebooted my router and computer a million times thinking it must be something else. But then I remembered changing the user account, and as soon as I reset the account as admin video chat immediately started working again.
This doesn't make any sense to me. I don't see why changing my admin account into a standard one should keep me from video chatting. But if there is a workaround, I would really like to know.

Have you done anything with Parental Controls with this account ?
In/as Standard Account in the Mac Firewall is UDP Traffic Blocked ? (System Preferences > Sharing > Firewall tab).
Parental Controls is the most likely.
Otherwise I would be stuck as to a suggestion.

Change account from administrator to standard?

How do I change my computer from administrator account to standard? I follow the steps it tells me to but when I get to the window where I have the option to change account, it will not let me change to standard.

I am not sharing my computer either. I have an administrator account. I don't use a password to sign in,
I have been trying to delete something I scaneed in and then I decided I didn't need it. I tried to delete and
got the message administrator permission needed. It does not ask me for a password ( I do not have a password), so
what is the answer? Following the help on the computer it advised to set up a standard account, but then the computer dowen't allow you to change to standard.

Old windows computer was burn processor and I was bought Apple Macbook Pro. And i can now use that photoshop. I dont want use WMvare,Oracle virtual box or other.

It's no good arguing with us, we don't make the rules and don't work for Adobe.
In general when you change between Windows and Mac you should budget for re-buying all software, though you can be lucky with some.

You do not need a new license or a new serial number. Just download the Mac version and use your existing serial number.

Failed to upgrade ASA5505 license from 10 to unlimited users

The problem I'm experiencing is that I´m trying to upgrade a Customer's ASA 5505 base license from 10 to 50 users (ASA5505-SW-10-50=). But the reseller sent a ASA5505-SW-50-UL= license instead. I tried to register that license and the following messaged appeared.
Wrong Sku(s) 'ASA5505-SW-50-UL=' for 'ASA5505-K8' : Device contains following licenses 'ASA5505-SW-10,ASA5500-ENCR-K9'
Serial Number = JMX1235Z0TZ
We're sorry, but the new serial number provided is not the same platform type as the failed serial number. An upgrade request is not allowed.

I tried to contact TAC for assistance but It's not possible because that kind of service is outside the parameters of the service contracts associated with my cisco.com profile.

I am not sure that I have the correct understanding of your issue. From your description it seems that the reseller has generated the license upgrade for the wrong serial number. I would think you would deal with them to get the serial number corrected.
I have had some limited success in calling the TAC when I have had an issue with equipment whose serial number/contract number was not associated with my CCO ID. Or it may turn out that you will need to get the customer to add your ID to their contract number.

You have to look at the manufacturer's web site, if there are recent updates to 64 bit. For some plug-ins recent updates have been available. But you cannot turn a 32-bit plug-in into a 64-bit plug-in by setting an option. It needs to be compiled differently for a different architecture.
To be used with Aperture 3.4.1 in Mt. Lion your plug-ins will also need to be compatible with sand-boxing, the new security feature, see:

Best way to change from Oracle 11gR2 Standard Edition to Standard one..?

Hi,
I have installed Oracle 11gR2 Standard edition+ installed database and additional software (which looks into the Oracle 11g database) in around 20 PCs (company)
But now the management says that they got license only for 11g Standard one edition (Standard one is significantly cheaper than standard edition)
So I have to change the Oracle edition from Standard to Standard one now..We only need standard one edition features in the PCs.
Can somebody please advise what would be the best way to do this? Do I have to uninstall all database and reinstall standard one edition again?
I will be grateful if somebody says some kind of upgrade is possible(in this case degrade!)..

Yes I agree there was standard and standard one options and I selected standard.
But how to confirm?

Also as said in the previous post,
1) SE max. 4 sockets , SE1 2 sockets <======== hardware restriction
2) No RAC on SE1
3) No Automatic Workload Management (a RAC feature) on SE1
These apply to us.
So can we get a SE1 license, since we are not on RAC and satisfy all criteria for standard one.

I cannot change my username despite Itunes telling me I must change it from my aol username. All support has told me is to log in and I will be cued to do so. This doesnot happen. This is my 4th attempt at help.

Itunes sent email that said I had to change username from aol account. I have logged out, logged in again and no cue to change this pops up. I have attempted 3 different times to get help and each time, someone tells me to do the SAME EXACT THING THAT I HAVE DONE 20 TIMES AND HAD NO EFFECT. The only thing that itunes allows me to do is change my password NOT MY USERNAME.

Details of the upgrade process are at Convert your AOL Username to an Apple ID, however you only need to make this change if your AppleID is based on an AOL screen name rather than an email address that ends in say @aol.com or @aol.co.uk.
The fact the you've tried signing out and in again without being promoted suggests your Apple ID is based on your email address and therefore nothing needs to be done.
