I'm not understanding if your cap file is in "b\bin\FVSCardPkg\javacard\", then why are you loading "D:/MyCardPkg.cap"?
The issue isn't with your off card application, but the cap file version. Look at the cap file components in JCVM specification. I believe it's the Header component. The major, minor should match your card but not greater. In other words, your can't load a 2.2 on a 2.1 card, but a 2.1 can load on a 2.2

  • Since upgrading to Maverick I'm unable to open any indesign files (receiving error code 4).

I decided to uninstall, then redownload from Creative Cloud, but my Adobe Application Manager tries to launch and quits unexpectedly, over and over. I restarted my computer, but that wasn't helpful. I was considering uninstalling all of CC, but I'm concerned about the application manager issue inhibiting me from using any programs. Illustrator is working fine after an update...Help! I'm on deadline

I had the same problem. Brand new Mac Pro with a fresh installation of Creatve Cloud.
ID CC couldn't open CS6 files. Error code 4. As luck would have it I still have CS6 on an another Mac. When I have opened the file there and then did a Save As (CS6 file with another name) everything worked great. Strange.
But now with the latest ID CC update it seems to work fine to open CS6 files without error code 4.
I hope you managed to solve your problem in time?

    Regards,
    errno

is it possible for the card owner company to add additional key(s) which is then only for me useable? Not really. In GP 2.2 it may be possible to have multiple security domains where different developers can load applets but there is still a main issuer than can delete your applets (or security domain). I have not had much of a chance to look at cards that support GP 2.2 so I do not have all the details on this. In GP 2.1.1 it is not possible. If you have the keys for the ISD you can do what ever you like to the card.
Is this process of authentication described some where? Yes. It is in the GP card spec. Look for the appendix on secure channel protocol 02.
Is it not possible to protect a single applet slots - why should I lock the card for new deployments when the security of my applet is not a problem?Secured is a card manager state that doesn't look you out of the card, it just means some things are not possible (like starting a secure channel without MAC'ing). When you are developing you can keep the card in OP_READY or INITIALIZED.

  • External hard drives and Error Code -36

Just wanted to know if anyone knows what this error code means. I tried copying a bunch of video files about 600-700 mb to my USB external hard drive, and this error message popped up and said the disk could not be read or written to. I contacted the manufacturer of the hard drive and they said it was not a manufacturing fault, but an issue regarding the operating system.
Does anyone know why this might be? And also, does anyone know of anyway to get around it?
    Thanks.

You can try DiskWarrior to repair the directory. If DW can't do it, you'll need to re-format the drive. I'd also suggest a zero out erase.
Steps for zeroing the drive Disk Utility:
    1. Insert your Mac OS X CD-ROM disc or Restore DVD disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key until you see the spinning gear.
    2. Once started up from CD or DVD, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)

Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from disc to access Disk Utility.
    3. Choose the entire disk (top icon).
    4. Choose erase tab.
    5. Click on "Security Options"
    6. Choose "write zeros".
    7. Erase
This will take a bit of time because the computer is physically writing zeros to each block.

  • (Error code -36)  - some data in the file can not be read or written.

I am trying to copy my Music Folder to a new 3TB External Drive and I getting Error Code -36 for some of my TV episodes that I have purchased from iTunes.
What is the problem and how can I solve it? I go back to the those problem episodes and I can still watch them without any problem, so why I cant copying them over?

I faced the same problem and i fixed it by going to applications - utility - disk utility and fixing the errors.

  • Can't see external hard drive after error code -36

Hi, was copying iphoto data from an WD My Passport 750GB external hard drive to my MACBook when the system said it could not complete the copy as it had encountered a problem and indicated error code -36.  Now I can't see the external drive (or any data) on any computer.  I have tried 3 different MACs to no avail.  The drive makes a soft beeping noise but then stops but the light stays on.
Any ideas on how I can get access to my data??

Make sure the cable is securely seated on the device side.
If that's not the problem, then either the drive mechanism or the enclosure has failed. If you don't have backups, you'd better hope it's the latter. Remove the mechanism from the enclosure and install it another enclosure. You can buy fairly inexpensive USB docks that a SATA drive drops into with no need for disassembly.
Failing that, your only chance is to send the drive to a recovery service such as Drive Savers. They disassemble the drive mechanism in a clean room and mount the platters in another drive. Cost will be in the 4-5 figure range, and the results are uncertain.
If you don't have backups, you don't have data.

  • Error opening the portable document file document. error code = 0x4000000c

I have been getting this error message when I try to open a .pdf that was created in Word. I have searched for this error code and nothing comes up.
The file was created from a Word newsletter template. I had no problem opening this in PS before I updated my Adobe Acrobat Pro. The file CAN be opened in Acrobat however.
Any advice as to what this code means and why I can't opne the file anymore?
    thanks,
    Lisa

Thanks for the reply, Chris. In this case I can switch the project over to InDesign, but writing out a Word file to PDF is a pretty common thing to do, so I hope they eventually have time to fix it for those of us having the problem.
I understand updating for the upgrade, but not everyone can afford to upgrade to a new set of CS software every time a new version is released. At work is one thing, but I can't justify it for my personal copy. And I know you didn't mean it that way, but I hope that Adobe doesn't forget about its CS3 users just because CS4 is the latest version. The Creative Suite is a pretty expensive piece of software to buy to quickly become old and not worthy of bug fixes.
Thanks for forwarding my file along though.
    Have a good afternoon,
    Debbie

  • Disconnected Application Cache .CSV file contains error Code 4

    Dear All,
Recently we are facing an issue in our BI application . We have implemented Disconnected Application Cache via ibots in our application . We have used preprocessed sync and according to the process what it does is , it saves the data in .csv files into server by making folders of disconnected users.
Currently , we fould and issue that particular report does not contain data in disconnected mode. Whne we backtraced the issue we found that , the underlying table for the report is empty and when we further investigate we found that , the .csv file kept in server against Uset folder contains an error code , which is :
    <error><error Code>4</error Code></error>TS
For this reason no data is there in csv files and the disconnected report is also showing emmpty columns for that.
Can anybody please help me solving this issue . I am not sure why this error happens and what this kind of error code signifies.
As it is a production issue, it becomes very urgent to solve this . Can anybody please give me some idea how to resolve this one.
    Thanks and Regards,
    TG

Are you sure that the input file (e.g. "Downloads/filetoberead.CSV") is in UTF-8 character set? You can also check it using some text editor having a view in hex mode. If each Cyrillic character in your input file occupies a single byte (instead of two), then the file is not in UTF-8. Most probably it is in Cyrillic for Windows (CP1251).
If this is the case, you should modify the line
    BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(in,"UTF-8"));toBufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(in,"windows-1251"));Dimitar

  • Database error, file damaged, error code: 3

    Hi,
I have what I believe is an InDesign CS3 file. InDesign CS4, 5, and 5.5 refuse to open it. When I try to open it in CS3, I get a database error, saying the file is damaged, error code: 3.
I'm sure the problem is with the file, not InDesign, since I've tried this on 2 Macs. CS3 quits before I can export to .idml.
I read some earlier threads concerning this error and I tried removing the Links, but that didn't help. I also read something about editing across a network but since this is not my file I don't know how it was created and edited in the past. I'm just looking for a solution.
    Anyone?
    Thanks,
    Tina

Best bet is probably Markzware's recovery service, if the file is critical and would cost more than $200 to rebuild. Bad InDesign or Quark File Recovery Submission Form

    Thank you safarmer.
    safarmer wrote:
    HI,
0x6f00 means you have an uncaught exception in the install method. This probably means that the applet is trying to instantiate a key pair or cipher that the card does not support that it expects or requires to work. Without the source code you have no real way of knowing what the cause is. It may be as simple as it is trying to allocate more RAM/EEPROM than is available.
    Cheers,
ShaneI would like to know from where i get 6131 and 6212 phone's secure element specification (Java card OS version,Cryptography supports, RAM/EEPROM size etc ).?

  • How to execute external scripts that returns error code

    Hi,
What is the best approach to execute a unix shell scripts in ODI thats return a code e.g. 1- found , 2 - not found. The return code needs to assigned to a ODI variable. I have gone through some posts that explained how to refresh odi variable from file. well in that case i have to write the error code to a file and then read to a ODI variable. Is there any direct approach available ? Is there any other way I can assign values to ODI variable other than its refresh methods ( select from <source>) for e.g. Inside odi procedure ?
Thanks you all for answering this
    -Mansa

In order to reduce the steps we need to do that using java itself. It will be something like this .
Step 1. ODI procedure - Technology Java Bean shell .
    <@
JAVA OS COMMOND CODE TO TRIGGER THE PEARL SCRIPT.
GET THE RETURN INTO JAVA VARIABLE ( SAY FOR EX result )
    @>
    Step 2. Creating the variable.
    select any oracle schema
    select '<@=result@>' from dual
and call this variable in refresh mode in package.
Step 3. processing with variable what ever you wish to do .
Personally i have not tried the java os command to get the return code . I will look into this and let you know sooner or later. If you want you can explore the code or google the code and see if what you are planning to achive is possible ,else the other way can be using the file as you know.
