Upload Photos Into Portal

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to upload photos into portal, like i have a specific requirment that whenever a user logs into portal his photo must be displayed in the masthead or in the home page.

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Tru importing from your camera to it and to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

I solved the problem. Had nothing to do with Mac or iphoto. Problem must be my the internet connection to my provider.
Upload at my office worked without any problem. One problem solved, now i am aware with a lot of discussions with my providers helpdesk ;-)

What version of iPhoto? How are you trying?
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Cannot upload photo into my 30gb ipod..

hi...i got a problem when im trying to upload my photo into my 30gb ipod video..it turns up to have an error and this will appears averytime i try to upload my photo into my ipod:- "the ipod cannot be updated.the disk could not be read from or written to." can anyone please help me and tell me why is this happened...i've tried to copy all the photos into a new folder ang just try to upload that folder but the same thing happens..please tell me what i should do...

Thank you for your reply . The folder I am synching to is located on my desktop . I have tried to synch to the same folder from the my documents folder and from the my pictures folder . I read / watched the info you suggested . Is it possible that my problem is itunes does not have 'write' access to the folder I am synching to ? How would I enable write access to the folder . I do not see the option in the folder properties menu . I noticed the folder is identified as read only in the properties menu . also i have noticed that the ipod photo cache folder created in the photos folder contains multiple folders , some of which contain ithmb files and a photo database file .

Upload photos into Galleries from a PC?

Hi All,
I use a PC (don't start; required by my employer) and I want to transfer pictures into the Photos app on the iPad. Problem is that even though I have the pictures in separate directories on the PC they get loaded into a single gallery on the iPad. I know if you have a Mac and have created galleries in iPhoto they will transfer over but does anyone know a way to get photos into separate galleries on the iPad from Windows? Any way to even manually create galleries on the iPad and manually move the pictures into them?

The largest iCloud account is only 55GB, not 100. Also, iCloud is designed for syncing data. It is not for general file storage. While you could add the photos to a shared stream (http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99) and they would stay in iCloud indefinitely, they would likely be at a lower resolution than the originals (3.1-3.5 megapixels).
Instead of using iCloud, use a different cloud-based service that is desiged for this (DropBox, Flikr, Smugmug, etc.). Some are listed here on Roger Wilmut's site: http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/missing/inicloud3.html.

Can't upload photos into iphoto from memory card

Hi there
I have been using iphoto for a while now and have never had any problems before. Today I have tried to upload some photos from my memory card (inserted directly into my macbook).
Iphoto reads the card (all pics come up in iphoto) but the "import selected" and "import all" boxes are greyed out.
Any ideas?

Open the memory card on the Desktkop and drag the folder containing the photos to the Desktop. From there see if you can import them into iPhoto.

I cannot upload photos into a web site-no problems with previous versions of firefox or IE(get error message The connection was reset)

I edit a web site set up by Joomla.
I copy & paste text to it and upload photographs.

I work with a realtor and my job is to upload photos into MRIS. I can't do it with on my Mac OS X HELP!

I have downloaded firefox and downloaded adobe flashplayer and done everything that I know of. I am NOT very computer literate. It actually worked on two occasions after I first installed Firefox and then again after I restarted it. But never since. MRIS (Multiple Regional Listing Service) is 98% supports Internet Explorer.

But why was I able to upload the photos some of the time, but not all of the time? I could upload right after I installed the firefox for several days, but then all of a sudden it didn't work any more. There must be a way to do it. I was told by MRIS that using firefox works for most users. What could be the problem for me? I think I have the newest version of firefox.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
In your Applications folder you have Image Capture. Launch it and open its Preferences. This is where you set what you want to happen when you connect your camera. You can set it to launch Image Capture, which you can use to download the photos from your camera to a folder of your choice. Or set it to open nothing, and launch the application of your choice manually.

Hi Kumari,
There is no standard component in portal for uploading the photo from portal to R/3.Hence you need to create a new component either using any of these technologies webdynpro/Visual Composer/Jsp Dynpage with the help of BAPI created in backed to enable the service of uploading.
