Upload size quota.

Hey, I was wondering why the file size quota for uploading files is 5 GBs. The reason for me asking this is because other file sharing sites like Mediafire and Google Drive doesn't have a quota like this one. I get requests from clients to upload final export quality products and it seems Mediafire throttles their DL speeds in order to keep a stable site with the amount of accounts being used at once there and my Google Drive account is full. I was thinking of using CC's file sharing service since I am guessing the DL speeds are at a reasonable speed. But, I can't use it for certain scenarios like this one since the product is about 9 GBs. Again, it's this size because it's an hour long and the client wants a near perfect output to review for imperfections.
Is this because the service is relatively new compared to sites like Mediafire and Google Drive which have been around for years? Or is it that currently there aren't as many storage mainframes to provide to all the customers?
Again, this is just out of curiosity and if the staff doesn't want to answer, this is fine.

I know BPS 4.1.4 does have an issue and you would need BES Express 5 to fix it. BES Express 5 is also free.

  • Wiki file upload size

I work at a school where we use a Mac Mini Server as a media server using the Wiki component. In the past, I was able to modify Library/Server/Wiki/Config/Collabcored.plist file to increase the file upload size. Since upgrading to Yosemite, that file no longer exists and once again I am not able to upload files larger than 500mb. I've looked at all of the files in Wiki/Config/ and one called collabd.plist has  MaxAttachmentFileSize and the integer, but I have not been successful in getting it to work. Does anyone one what I'm missing?

Tha last line should be, "Does anyone KNOW what I'm missing?" Typing too fast I guess.

Does anyone know if there is a upload siz limit for a single podcast episode ?
    Thank you for helping.

    Hi,
There shouldn't be a limit as far as I know. In case it's affected by other view settings, try to start Outlook with the switch "/cleanviews", then create the conditional formatting again to check the result.
To start with "/cleanviews", in the Run dialog, type "outlook.exe /cleanviews", press Enter.

  • Apache Limit Upload Size

How can I limit the upload size on apache?
This has to be either in the beginning of the upload or once the max size has been reached, not to dump the file after the whole thing has been uploaded

I don't believe this is a limit you can set in Apache. I've only ever seen these types of limits imposed in the script, eg. perl or, in the case of php, in the php.ini file that is talking to apache.

  • How to increase maximum scripts size quota

I'm using Oracle Express 10g and trying to write/test a SQL script. It was working fine until I added more to it today. Now when I run it (in the SQL Scripts page), it just says status in Cancelled with no explanation & no results.
Looking at the script quota, it says 50,000 bytes, but the script is (according to the SQL Scripts details) 65,528 bytes. Although it doesn't complain about this when I upload the script (I edit it externally, as editing & saving from the built-in editor seldom works), I'm wondering if this is why it is Cancelling the run? Does anyone know how I can find out why it was cancelled?
According to the documentation (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32471/sql_rep.htm) +"The size is set by the Oracle Application Express administrator and cannot be changed from within the Workspace"+. So how do I, as the Administrator, change the limit from 50,000 to, say, 70,000? I can't find any reference to how this is achieved, but the documenatation implies it is possible.
Please help, I need to get this script out quickly, it is for an important client!
    Thanks
    Martin

My apologies, it seems this probably is Apex. I'm new to Oracle, and was just using the facility in the Oracle XE database home page to run scripts. I didn't know this was apex, but I suppose it must be as it has apex in the URL (not mentioned anywhere else as far as I can tell, nor in the documentation I linked). I'll repost in the apex forum and see what that turns up. I suppose I can always run it in SQL+ if I really have to :-(
    Thanks for your time

  • Video upload size to MoblieMe?

I got a new iPhone 4G. I use iPhoto '09 to download my videos. I want to publish them to a Mobile Me Gallery, but they take for ever to upload because they are HD. Is there a way to upload the videos from iPhoto in a smaller format to Mobile me?
    Kevin

    Yes. There are two ways:
1- in iPhoto export the slideshow/video with one or more of the options checked to get a variety of sizes, like mobile and medium:
Or import the the video into iMovie 09 and export to a MMe gallery at multiple sizes.
Then you can get a MMe gallery like this one: http://gallery.me.com/toad.hall#100411 or the same gallery embedded in an iWeb page: Adding a MMe Gallery from iMovie 09.

    hi
you cannot limit the siZE of the doccument to be uploaded perhaps u can specify filter on the repository to check the type of the doccument.
pcd  and wcm which is stored as database best gives the siZE  please query it or check its properties.

  • Merge rep - monitor upload size

    Good day all,
Is there any smart way to ascertain the size of data uploaded during a merge replication sync ?
It's possible to see the number of rows per table in the history tables , but I can't find a quick way to know the size of the sync in terms of Mbs...nothing in perfmon either.
Does anyone have any pointers as to how to find this out (in as un-convoluted a fashion as possible).
    Thanks !

    Great , thanks!
... but it doesn't seem to work for me  :-(    (publisher sql2008, sub sql2008 express).
Could it be version dependent , or some other dependency ?
    Hi backtothefuture,
You will need to synchronize on-demand from the command line in order to enable verbose agent logging to file with SQL Server Express. For more details, please review the example in the following similar thread.
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14328470/merge-pull-subscription-output-path-change-sql-express-2008r2
There is also an article about the detailed command syntax for your reference.

hi all, i'm using Oracle 9i, Orcale JDBC thin Driver and ibm websphere to develop a java application.i have used java EJB/CMP to insert images into BLOB field in oracle.
i used byte[] mapping to BLOB.i did it successfully.

when i insert files larger than 4k, there is exception error. it said that the inserted value is too large.
is that the problem of orcale JDBC?
is that any solution to solve this restriction?
it is very urgent, pls help!
    thx a lot

    Hi Lee
Thanks for ur valuable suggestions. Please give me
more idea i would really thank to u !Which part is giving you troubles?
Oh - and change my suggestion to use setBinaryStream to a suggestion to use setAsciiStream, as I missed the part where you said "text file".
    >
Can anybody tell me anyother way how to solv thid
    problem
Depending on the size of the text file you could just read the file so you have the contents as a String and use setString (also in the PreparedStatement interface).

  • Book Order Upload Size

So I just sent a 24 page book to Apple, and on the little dialogue box with the progress bar it said it was sending a total of 24.3 mb worth of data towards Apple.
With the exception of the front title page, the other pages are in FULL colour, meaning I have used a photo background for all pages and each page has around 2-4 photos.
So is this miniscule amount of data normal for a 28 x 21 cm book and will the quality be top notch? Does Apple have some secret compression algorithm they're not willing to share?

Thanks. It's just that I'm so accustomed to seeing documents like these with sizes of 5 mb or more per page (without encapsulating the file).
I did export it and it does look pretty good... on screen anyway.
Oh well there's always the customer satisfaction or money back thing.
    Thank you!
