Uploading Data in Russian Language

Hi Friends,
I have developed some data migration programs ( BDC , LSMW ) for country RUSSIA. Data's are in Russian Language .
To upload it do i need to login to RUSSIAN Language to upload the data ?

Read different language from the file and upload data

Hi Expert,
I am loading customer master data through BDC( trx-XD01) by reading a file from PC. The file contains customer data in different language like English, Chinese, and Japanese etc. However, when creating customer master data, only those data in English are able to create, as I am in English log on. The data in other language is showing garbage value. However, when I am logging in with that language (say Chinese) this time I am able to create customer for Chinese data but not for other.
Can someone one help me to solve this problem irrespective of language in the file and SAP log on, I should able create customer through my program.

Uploading data in infotype 0024

Hi all,
I want to upload datain infotype 0024 - qualifications tab. Now the issue here is that this infotype contains a table control in which the data is not getting stored in infotype 0024 but some place else instead.
Please suggest how to tackel the situation using bdc.

Ofcourse i need more information - please read this:
Well please go to pa30 and try to create a record in Infotype 0024.
There in the qualifications tab, you cant enter anything - u have to click on the create button below the table control to choose languages - various check boxes for languages.
Now when I do recording - this step of choosing the languages do not comes up . moreover the fields in the tabstrip for qualification - they are not in the pa0024 table and are stored somewhere else. So even if i use hr_infotype_operation, it do not shows up the fields for qualifiactions tab - like language, profecincey level and dates for various languages.
Please suggest if you know something.
Infotype no 0045 is also a similar infotype where the data gets stored at some other place ..... I mean by any chance if u know how to upload data in IT0045, it would be a great help.

Down Loading of data in Japanese Language from SAP R/3 30F to Flat file

Hi All,
We need to Extract the data (like MM ,SD, FI, CO Modulus for reporting purposes) which is in Japanese from the R/3 30F to Flat file and the Upload from flat file to BW 3.5
When we try to down load some sample records ,the Japanese Characters coming as boxes.
Can anyone Suggest how to Extract the Data in japanese Language into Flat file ,
and also are there any standard Extractors Available to extract all MM,FI, CO SD ..etc so that we can use them...
Please give some solution to above problem

Customer Mss Upload with non ENGLISH language

Hi,
I have a BDC program which uploads customer Address data into the system.
Now I have some customer data with non english characters like chinese and Japanese. If I try to upload this data with english language LOGON then data doesnt updates correctly but if I use the corresponding language logon and upload the same data then it works fine.
Is there any ways I can upload these non english customer data with english system logon using BDCs or do I need to use any other approach?

Hi!
1. Get the Russian language package for ECC 6.0
2. Run se38->RSCPINST (Note 42305 - RSCPINST (I18N configuration tool), add language RU and press Simulate
3. Check the log - whether or not Russian locale is installed on your server's operation system. If not - install and configure it
4. add/change required instance profile parameters (transaction RZ10). Language key for Russian is R.
5. Restart application server.
6. Run se38->RSCPINST and press Activate. Check the log.
7. Run transaction SMLT. Add RU language and choose supplemented language. Supplemented language can be selected once!
8. Run import of the RU language (follow the instructions from the help.sap.com)
9. Once the import is finished, check log, if everything is OK run Supplementation.
10. After importing of the RU language, you must also import the language data in the Support Packages it you installed them before language.
11. Use the Russian language by mention RU in a sapgui field when login

Urgent: want function module to translate text into russian language

Hello All,
My requirement is that, field is fetched from std. table. This fiels of data type string, i.e., it contains text. I want to translate this text into russian language before displaying this in output. For otr text, i used se63 to translate. But, this text is not otr, it is dynamically fetched from diff. std. tables. So, se63 is not working here.
Please help me as its very urgent.

I don't know if there's an unique solution, you should try to open an OSS message
All tables with description should have the language (usually field SPRAS) as key fields
so u can try to read a record and create a new one but with the new language:
select * from makt where spras = 'ZH'.
   makt-spras = 'E'.
   makt-maktx = ......
   insert makt.
endselect.
But it's better to analize the risk

How to upload data in to custom control

hello freinds can any one tell me how to upload data into cutom control area using bdc, for example when i record the transaction 'ac02', i am able to enter the long text column but when i generate i am unable to see which field the data is saved , so that i am unable to go further

Long text are a little pain in BDC...they are maintained separately in the system...
Where you are filling the long text ..there would be an icon for full screen ...click on tht ...Click Goto-> Header ...
There would be four details on top clubbed together ...note down these...
You have to pass <b>Text ID Text Name Text Object</b> for every text you create tht u create through FM save_text

How to use Russian Language in Pop-Up menus

I am trying to generate a Russian Translation of a pop-up
menu using the Arial font. Both graphic and html body work fine but
the Javascript Pop-Ups generated from Fireworks produces a string
of Question Marks.
Can anyone advise me how to have Russian characters work in
the Pop-Up menus?

Russian language translation to English

I have scanned a hardcopy black and white Russia newspaper page to pdf that I would like to OCR to English. How can I do that?

I think I actually mis-stated my problem. I have uploaded a pdf of a hardcopy of a newspaper article that is in the Russian language. I want the image pdf to be transfomed into a searchable pdf or a Docx or some other editable form for word processing. However, when I upload this image pdf and retrieve the result there is no conversion happening to an editable format. I am unable to understand why this is the case. Could you perhaps guide me in the right direction?

Form Auth and Russian Language

I have a probleme with Form based Auth. When i try edit data , my encoding is broken

when i off form auth - i edit data normal

i have web application with Master - Detail relationship. I can add and edit data. Then i add BASIC auth , i can add and edit data too, but when i change BASIC auth to FORM auth (jsp/UIX - same) i have probleme
with edit/add data- my data is broken - i see (????) instead of my russian language. Why?
in web.xml i add cp1251 and UIX page with 1251 encoding
but i have probleme with Form ayth

DB Connect Load - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table"

Hi Experts,
We have our BI7 system connected to Oracle DB based third party tool. The loads are performing quite well in DEV environment.
I would like to know, how we transport DB Connect datasources to Quality systems? Any different process to be followed for DB Connect datasources?
At present the connections between BI Quality and the third party quality systems are established. We transported the DataSource from BI DEV system to BI quality system, but on trigerring an infopackage we are not able to perform loads. It prompts - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table".
Also on comparing the DataSources in DEV system and Quality system there are no fields in "Proposal" tab of datasource in Quality system. Also I cannot change or activate Datasource in Quality system as we dont have change access in quality.
Please advice.

Sorry for bumping an old thread ....
Did this issue get ever get resolved?
I am facing the same one. The loads work successfully in Dev. The transport for DBConnect DS also moved in successfully.
One strange this is that DB User for dev did not automatically change to db user from quality when I transported the DBConnect datasource. DBCon DS still shows me the DB User from Dev in Quality system
I get "Unknown Error" whenever I trigger the data package.
