i need help =(

Hello Chris,
It's NOT mandatory to stop livecache via LC10 every time SAP and the SAP database(Oracle) is stopped/bounced.
If you would like to bounce the SCM system you need to run the following steps:
-> Stop the liveCache in LC10 transaction; < stop x_server, if it's planned >
-> Stop the application server & SCM database -> stopsap
-> Start the application server & SCM database -> startsap
-> < start x_server, if it's stopped on the livecache server >
Start the liveCache in LC10 transaction
For example, the liveCache need to stopped if you are going to run the livecache
upgrade or reboot the livecache server.
When you are going to restart the liveCache the liveCache application users need to be informed about the downtime, when the liveCache will be not available and the liveCache application jobs/activities & CIF queues need to be stopped for the liveCache restart procedure.
For SAP liveCache documentation in English < See the SAP note 767598 >:

  • Whenever I try to upload a file, firefox stops responding as soon as I try to select the location of the file.

Every time I try to upload a file, firefox stops responding when I try to select the location of the file. It happens in Internet Explorer as well. Any suggestions?

It happens on all sites, this one included. The "file upload" window opens for me to select a file but before a list generates, firefox stops responding. It must be my computer, since it happens with internet explorer as well, but I don't know how to fix it.

  • How long does it take for an uploaded iBook to appear in the store?

I successfully uploaded a free iBook to the store using iBook Author this morning. I still haven't seen it appear or, if it's there, I can't find it. Is there a delay between a successful upload (iBook Author said it was successful) and it's appearance online?

I submitted one book last Saturday using the iBooks Author 'publish' button. It created a 'package' and started up iTunes Producer automatically. I added some 'meta' data but it already seemed to have my book data (contents etc. from the package) and so I continued the process. One of the last items was to upload some screen shots. I prepared a few without seeing anything about the proper size. There are 3-4 APPROVED sizes. The first time I submitted the book I got an error message to the effect that the sceenshots were the wrong size ;-) it took my careful reading of the size spec and a couple more submissions before I was able to get an OK on the upload. The book and meta data appeared on the iTunes Connect website shortly after. About Tuesday I got an email from Apple saying my screenshots were the wrong size and to re-submit. I assumed that was generated by my first submission (when I got the error message) and thought I should wait until they get to the successful submission. I replied to the first email but haven't heard anything since. I'm sure they are busy. I think I'll try re-submitting today and hopefully not clog up the system too much. In the mean time (it is a free book for now), I can distribute it to my students for their comments.
On a related topic. I still see only the original nine books when I look for textbooks? Are they somewhere else? That is why I asked if anyone had seen their textbook on the iTunes store and how they found it.

Desperately need help so I can purchase books for my study course!!

    Sir,
I thought So too but then I went to Itunes Library and try and buy a single song from an album for $1.29.  Now my Itunes Gift card balance is $ 7.10 as I mentioned earlier. it still did not let me buy and kept trying billing my Visa card.
Should I restart my PC and Itunes and retry. What do you suggest?

    Help.

Then the next step would be to restore your phone.  My advice is that prior to restoring you import your photos and videos to your computer and back up your contacts (by syncing them with iCloud or to a supported program on your computer using iTunes) as a number of users report losing these when restoring their device.

Why not move your site to a new host and publish using one the two alternative methods...

I have a problem with the application iBooks when I read an Arabic book the pages are misarranged in all the Arabic books. You can try it yourself just load an Arabic book and try to read it you will not find the pages the same like the original book you will have to turn many pages forward and back to get the true arrangement of the original book. This problem is not found in stanza or kobo inspite of the fact that the iBooks look is better

You will just have to use other apps for Arabic.  You can ask Apple to fix this via
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/
I think Apple's iBookstore does not yet really support Arabic books.

  • When I record an audio track, there is a waveform. When I stop recording, the waveform disappears and becomes a straight line. It also disappears from the track edit window. But the sound is there. How can I stop the waveform from disappearing?

When I record an audio track using Logic Pro X, there is a visible waveform which appears as I record. When I stop recording, the waveform disappears and becomes a straight line. It also disappears from the track edit window. But the sound is still there. How can I stop the waveform from disappearing? And can I do something to view it after it has disappeared? Anyone know the anser?

    In Logic:
    Preferences/Audio Set Recording Delay to 0 <zero>
This should always be set to zero unless a specific set of circumstances exist and you're audio drivers do not report position correctly.
On occasion, usually when importing a Logic 9 project, Logic-X randomly changes this to a negative/positive number.  It's actually a bug in Logic, as it should always display the waveform.

    HELP ME !!! THANKS!!!

  • When I stop a movie, it doesn't go back to the main menu.

I am experiencing a very frustrating situation.
I have burned a DVD with 2 short movies on it.
When I play either of them all the way through, after they're over, it returns automatically to the main menu, which is what I want.
However, when I STOP either of them anywhere during the playing, it does NOT return to the main menu. It just stays on a black screen.
This situation happens on my Mac DVD Player, and also on external DVD players connected to a TV.
Let's say I am watching the 1st movie, I don't like it and I want to watch the 2nd one on the same DVD. I logically press STOP, but it doesn't bring me back to the main menu. If I press "Menu" or "title", it doesn't work either.
Is there something on the "Map function" window that I should do?
If not, is there any other solution?
Many thanks in advance for any help.

Ok, don't press STOP, just press "menu" or "title" without pressing stop.
BTW, I tested both a commercial DVD (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) and and a iDVD disk in my Panosonic player and on my Mac with the Apple DVD player.
On the Panosonic Player: If I press Stop on either DVD, I go to a blank screen. If I press menu once and wait a sec or two, both DVDs go back to the main menu.
On the Apple DVD player: If I press Stop on either DVD, I go to a blank screen, and pressing "menu" gives me the "not permitted" warning for both DVDs.....
So It seems like fro me, iDVD works just like the commercial DVD on both the Mac and the DVD player.....

  • On fcp6 - all of a sudden my titles and images disappear when timeline stops. Can't edit or see titles.

titles and stills work fine in playback, but disappear when timeline stops. Can't edit titles. Can't find how to bring things back. restarted FCP and Mac.

Second image shows outline of title over background image.  All images are .jpg finished in Photoshop as I normally do.  They worked fine during the first half hour of editing.

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

    Hi
My iphone 4 has stopped working...the lock button IS working...when it stopped working it had a 50% battery remaining...it was working when I last used it and when I returned it had a blank screen....it will now not charge or connect to itunes when plugged into the computer and it will not charge on the plug socket....I think the last iOS op system updated was 5.1.1....please help

Try holding both home and power buttons until apple logo appears (ignore on/ off slider) and then let go. No data will be lost.  Wait for phone to restart

  • Is there a fix for a slow response when pressing stop?

When pressing stop (either by mouse or pressing spacebar), there is always a one to two second delay before the music actually stops. Why is this? Any fix?
I have been using Digital Performer and that always stops on a dime. It is a bit annoying to hear another 1- 2 seconds of music after hitting "Stop". Any ideas?
This is not a latency issue.
    Thanks

A lag setting in like that could also be a sign of needed RAM exceeding available RAM - at which time parts of the contents of RAM have to be temporarily stored to or retrieved from disk.
That lag is from the OS needing to read RAM content from disk, or the OS needing to write RAM content to disk - and more often than not, both simultaneously. Only after this has been done ("swapping") is the correct RAM content - that's needed for Logic to 'stop' - in place and can the command actually be executed.
Installing more RAM should help, though you might want to check the (real) RAM use of your laggy Logic project via Activity Monitor first, just to be sure.
One of the big RAM eaters, apart from sampled acoustic instruments, is Flex. used RAM can grow quickly when Flex editing. If that happens it may be wise to quit and restart Logic from time to time.

  • I've imported some midi tracks, used the mixer to set pan, volume etc, but when I stop playback and restart it sets every midi track back to '0'. I've been using LE for years, this is a new one, any ideas?

I've imported some midi tracks, used the mixer to set pan, volume etc, but when I stop playback and restart it sets every midi track back to '0'. I've been using LE for years, this is a new one, any ideas?

    Hi,
that's because Logic reads the volume information out of the imported MIDI tracks and sets the volume fader according to this information. The MIDI information overrides volume settings you have done, so you have to identify the MIDI events that contain volume (or expression or pan or whatever) information and delete them. You can use the event list editor for this.
