Upon opening itunes, message says new iphone Software Version 4.3.5 for the iphone.  I click on download.  As it starts download, the est time is 58 minutes! I try it anyway, but the network "times out," no software update occurs.

Upon opening itunes, I try to download Software Version 4.3.5 update.  Starts off with estmated time of 58 minutes.  Download never completes.

I'm not sure about your problem but i can tell you that since my girlfriend updated her phone to 4.3.5 it doesnt let her put pictures on. I hadn't updated my iphone and could put pictures on my phone. Since i have updated my iphone to 4.3.5 i can not put pictures on my iphone either and results in my itunes library crashing and closing. How do i email apple to let them know of this prob?? Sorry i couldn't help you with your problem.

  • I can't open itunes message says you dont have the appropiate permission to acces the item

i update itunes to the new update an appear a message saying  windows cannot acces the specified ,device, path or file you may not have the appropiate permission to acces the iten how can a fix it y desinstall itunes  and install it two times and still not working

Make sure that you have closed all programs that might be using the iTunes library.itl file. I would hit CTRL + ALT + DEL buttons and enter the Task Manager - from there end any unnecessary program running in the background.
Next try to start iTunes again. If it fails, restart PC, do the same with Task Manager and try to open iTunes again.

If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process.

  • Install Itunes, message says newer version of Quicktime is already installe

I have tried every which way to uninstall Itunes and Quicktime. When I try a new install Itunes it stops and says a newer version of quicktime is already installed, then I close out of that window and the next one says that Itunes can not be installed without Quicktime. Help, I have spent most of today on this and i am ready to toss my computer and Ipod!

    Thanks beaner!
Okay, we're now going to try uninstalling iTunes and Apple Application Support (if it is still present on the system). Then we'll reinstall iTunes, which should reinstall Apple Application Support as well. We'll also take a few additional explicit precautions along the way.
First, download and save a fresh copy of iTunesSetup.exe (the itunes installer file) to your hard drive. (Don't run the install on line, and don't start the install just yet.)
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Quit QuickTime and Safari 4.0.4 if you have them open. (They both use Apple Application Support, and will interfere with the uninstall if they are open.)
Now head into your "Uninstall a program" control panel. Uninstall iTunes. Uninstall Apple Application Support (if it is present).
Next we'll clear away any leftover program files and folders.
In "Computer" open "Local Disk (C:)".
    Open the "Program Files" folder.
Right-click on the "iTunes" folder (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
    Open the "Common Files" folder.
    Open the "Apple" folder.
Right-click on the "Apple Application Support" folder (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Empty your recycle bin and restart the PC.
After the PC restarts, don't open any applications. Disconnect from your network and/or the internet. Now disable all your security software (firewall, antivirus, antispyware).
Now start the iTunes reinstall by doubleclicking on the iTunesSetup.exe file you downloaded earlier.
Reenable all security software prior to reconnecting to your network and/or the internet.
Did that install seem to go through okay? If so, does your iTunes launch properly this time?

This is a Microsoft Windows Issue.
    From a MS Support Engineer:
    "Hi,
    ·        Is the computer on a domain?
    ·        Is the issue isolated to only this software or you get the same error message with other software’s as well?
Try the steps below and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
Run the software setup file as an administrator and check if it helps.
    a. Right click on the setup file of the software that you are trying to install.
    b. Select “Run as administrator”.
    Step 2:
Temporarily disable the antivirus software running on the computer and check if you are able to install the software.
    Disable antivirus software
    Warning:
Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
    Step 3:
    a. Click Start, type "Local Security Policy" (without quotes) and press enter.
    b. Click on Software Restriction Policies.
    c. In the right pane, double click on the "enforcement".
    d. Select “All users except local administrators”.
    e. Click Ok and restart the computer and check if the issue is fixed."

While downloading the latest iTunes version, my computer turned off. When I opened iTunes, it says that "The file "iTunes Library.itl"  cannot be read  because it was created by a newer version of iTunes" Help please

That message is usually a sign that you tried to roll back to an earlier build of iTunes, but occasionally I've seen it connected to a new upgrade. This technique should fix things.
    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

When I try to open i tunes it brings up an error message saying 'new itunes library'. It does not open then. Can anyone help?

I have windows 7.  I went into control panel, then select programs, then select programs & features.  Highlight 'iTunes' from the list.  Then select 'repair'.  The program will then reconfigure iTunes.  Once complete I restarted the computer and everything was ok.

I know I answered you before on this but can't find the thread. Guess you didn't like my answer. Your phone was illegally hacked to unlock it and when you updated the phone it relocked it back to the original carrier. This made the sim you had in the phone useless and therefore it cannot activate the phone. Nothing can be done in these forums to help you fix your problem as it is against the TOS to discuss illegal unlocking or jailbreaking the phone.

What is the exact complete word-for-word error message?
Is this the Creative cloud version of Lightroom or the standalone (also called "perpetual license") version of Lightroom?
