Hi Experts,
plz solve my problem like displaying Hierarchy in Bex ,
I loaded hierarchy from R/3 system into Bw 0Mterial.
In Bex 0material Properties I Selected heirachy on Material , this heirarchy having 8 levels,
but in the out put it showing only one level displayng
like Not Assigned Material.
i did all the bex setting well, but i dnot know why i am getting this ...
plz any one help..

Hi Anil,
Your query is built on an infoprovider, right? The way the hierarchy is displayed depends on TRANSACTION DATA IN INFOPROVIDER. To display the hierarchy normally you need to have in the provider not blank values of the characteristics you used in the query and not blank material code. Unassigned node means that this requirement doesn't met.
If would be much more useful if you describe what you have in the query and what - in the provider.

hi,
Is your heirarchy uploaded properly for 0Material ?? If yes juct check out if your transcational data is in sync with the hierarchy master ? If it is not then it wuill display as Not Assigned..

WEBI prompt based on bex variable suppress not assigned hashtag value in LOV

Hi,
is it possible to suppress the "Not assigned (#)" value from the list of values in a webi prompt based on a bex variable?
This "Not assigned" value is something BW specific, BW adds this to each characteristic automatically?!

It needs to work in WEBI, not only in RSRT, and the filtering of data still needs to work.
For rsrt it works, when you exclude the not assigned value in "Filter > Characteristic Restrictions" and use the bex variable in/through "Filter > Default Values", but this does not work in WEBI, because the BEX Query Data is not filtered on the in the prompt selected value.

I could manage to avoid # values in WebI prompt using BAdI implementation, here is the brief:
Problem:
WebI report prompt (which shows BEx variable) list of values shows blanks or # . Rrequirement was to avoid these blanks or #
Environment:
BW 7.3
BO 4.0
BW Cube > BEx Query > OLAP Connection > WebI report
Solution:
InfoObject Level1 in BW had # values in masterdata, this could not be deleted since it was in use with other Cubes.
Vaurable Var_Level1 displays # when pressed F4 running BEx query and in list of values in WebI report prompt.
I implemented BAdI on Level1 info object and variable Var_Level1.
Steps to implement BAdI are as in following link

URGENT HELP NEEDED Re: 17" Studio Display ADC

Recently, I gave a good friend of mine my old PowerMac G4 500 with DVI/VGA connector. I also bought a 17" Studio Display (ADC) to go with it, but I thought that an ADC to DVI connector would work with the monitor. It doesn't because, as I learned later, the display uses an analogue signal that the adapter cannot translate for the computer. There are suggestions that the G4 500 does not work at all with the 17" Studio Display (ADC) but I don't know whether this is actually true.
So my question is this: are there any adapters on the market that will work with the 17" Studio Display and the PowerMac G4 500?
Been looking everywhere for info, but nothing concrete. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Apple and Dr. Botts DVI to ADC adapters do not provide the RGB analog signals needed for a CRT monitor. The Gefen adapter

In the link, one person was using the Gefen adapter with a CRT, but the power supply was getting VERY hot. Buying the Gefen adapter and a new, bigger, power supply, would be the easiest way to get things to work. The only cable cutting would be moving the cable from the Gefen power supply to the new power supply. That would just be a two wire cable. If you can find the matching plug for the Gefen power supply, you wouldn't have to use the Gefen power cable, but make your own, which is probably better because Gefen might be using wires too small for the extra current.

HT3964 Urgent Help needed! iMac starts but will not respond

Last night I was dragging photos onto a disc and accidentally (I have no idea how!) dropped 6500 photos onto the desktop. This would take an agr towait for so I rebooted the Mac. Since then it has not responded at all. I have rebooted several time and left it overnight but I think its Ram is not able to cope with it all. I can get it powered up and all the icons appear but not desktop items appears and I cannot open anything. It is as if the computer is frozen. Please help as I have one day to sort these photo discs out to present to my step daughter for her 21st! It's pandemonium here!

URGENT HELP: Notebook SoundBlaster Audigy2 ZS -- some features not work on window vi

Hello?I've SoundBlaster audigy2 zs that work fine for karaoke, recording on window xp. I've another pc that have window vista. I download this soundcard dri've for window vista from creative.com . However, some features of soundcard are not work as same on window vista. For example:- Can't launch EAX console- Creative surround mixer do not have all option to select especially Microphone?EAX console and Surround Mixer are 2 tools I used the most for recording music, sound ( karaoke)However this function work on XP but not on Vista. Audigy 2 ZS "correctly" installed, but drivers details on "mixer", "midi" and all the codecs details are "installed but not working correctly".
I'm going to format and reinstall everything to see if it's due to previous drivers for an "onboard" sound card

Urgent help? for Standalone AP users are not getting ip addresses

Dear friends,
i have Cisco LAP1140 series access points and i wanted to use them as autonomous , so i converted their ios from light weight to autonomous to
c1140-k9w7-tar.124-25d.JA image.
my network senario is
CORE SW + Access SW + Access points
Core SW:
act as a dhcp server for wireless user
for WLAN vlan 16 is configured on it
configured dhcp pool here for vlan 16
Access SW:
access points are cooneted with it
and every switch port assign to vlan 16 that is connected to AP
Standalone Access Points:
connected to access switch and have assigned static management IPs from vlan 16 that i have excluded in DHCP Pool in core switch.
configure only one ssid and broadcast
both radio 5ghz and 4.2 ghz are up
i can ping the gateway from each Access point to core switch
but the users can not get the ip address from the ssid that is configured on APs.
below is the attached of configuration of the access point
please review the configuration and advise me where i have mistaken and what i have missing in the configuration?
please reply me ASAP because this is very urdent for me and your reply is very important for me

actually i did not check that and it does make sence too may be problem with DHCP Scope
but you know why i did not check because there is an other scope on the core switch for Data users only the difference
of vlan numbers and names
but that data vlan users are getting ip addresses and connect normally to internet.
did you view the configuration that i attached with my 1st post?
if no please view it and advise me if i have any missing there.
further i ll check for DHCP in the morning to connect my laptop dirct with switch port to is that getting ip address or no.

Portal: Tab displayed but not assigned to any roles of user

HI Experts,
I have a problem need your great help.
When I logon portal as a specific user, there are 5 tab in home page. When I check the role list, 3 tabs doesn't assigned to any roles this user owned.
Then I try to copy current user into a new user, and logon in . There are only 2 tabs left, which belonged to assigned role.
How those 3 tab assigned into this user? Can we assign iView/Page/Workset directly to user without role?
Any suggestion appreciate. Thanks so much!

You can find if the user id belong to a particular group with the following ways,
Log in as an admin and go to User Admin -> Users- > Seach -> Enter the user Id and serach for the user -> Select the 5th icon with the tool tip ->Assigned Groups"
or
User Admin -> Group -> Search for the group.
or
You can use UME API to find out whether the is belowng to a group though coding.

Product hierarchy is showing 'Not assigned Materials' in Bex Report

Dear Gurus,
I have loaded product hierarchy to 0material from 0PROD_HIER_LPRH_HIER successfully. In Bex report if i use product hierarchy nothing showing to me and it is showing message in one row like 'Not assigned Materials.
If i remove the Hierarchy i am able to see all materials in the report.
I have searched in sdn but i didnt get any help.Please help me in this issue.

I have run the Hierarchy change run for 0material.but again it is showing same message 'not assigned materials'.

Hi Professionals,
I need urgent help from you. I would like to know how to calculate Good will % from ownership.
I dint work on tht before. And i posted this query before but dint not get any answer.
