Urgent need for Study Materials for 1Z0-114 certification

Hi All,
I would be taking up the Oracle SOA Foundations, Adoption and Implementation(1Z0-114) certification next month. For study materials & free dumps I did some search over the net but with no luck yet. Can somebody please point me towards the right direction from where i can get these. Also for reference which text books should i follow? Many thanks..

TripzThe first thing the certification candidate needs to understand is there is basically no such thing as right direction and +(brain)dumps
The dumps to be found on the net, and from most non approved supplied, are non authorized learning material:

So if you use or continue to search for dumps you will be cheating.

Study materials for OCM

Dear all,
Am plannig to do OCM in 10g.Unbfortunately, I couldn't find any study materials for the same.

Well IMHO, preparing for any certification should start from knowing first of all what it is all about and look upon all the possible resources from where one can know the maximum about it. Writing an exam is the last step with almost any certification. I may be wrong but it seems you haven't researched about OCM practicum very well. Please bookmark this link before anything else,

There is no material for the exam. Anything and everything that is possibly out there with respect to a dba's job/profile can be and/or will be in the exam. You need to learn/understand and practice all the tasks that are mentioned in the above link. There is no limit to what extent but yes all of them, that's for sure are included. This does include two advanced courses to be attended prior to going for exam which I hope you must have finished already. AFAIK, there is no material that is out there anywhere for this exam. As like with any practicums, you would only come to know in the real test that how well you did prepare.

Know it is not a strictly Workbench question, but no category really fits
Adobe has recently developed an Adobe LiveCycle Core ACE exam

Good question. We are working on putting together a document that will identify different learning vehicles to help meet the different objective areas for the exam. Goal is within the next week to have something ready .... it would be a living document as learning content is always popping up ... docs, whitepapers, demos, training, etc.
In the future, as Adobe releases more Enterprise certification exams this kind of learning map will be available when the exam is announced.
It will be posted to the Adobe site but I will be sure to post here this one time in specific response to your question in the event that the publishing process would cause delays.

ThanksFor some reason unknown to me this exam was suspended (field hockey yellow carded; ice hockey sin binned) towards the end of the time when exams were offered from Prometric ( see 1Z0-114 Oracle SOA Architect Certified Expert certification ).
However I did check recently and this exam and now Pearson VUE will be delighted to relieve you of your money to sit this exam :-)

It is VERY important to ensure you use use your previous Prometric Id as Orale Testing Id when registed with prometric if you have sat Oracle exams previously. If this is the case alos check upon registering with Pearson VUE your previous Promteric Id has become your Oracle Testing Id.
Please be aware the Pearson VUe registration process has been described as clunky and a little error-prone and there may be a delay until it is confimred as successful.

HELP urgently needed: My Sandberg FireWire for Laptop will not start on my T60

Let me start with information on my T60:
OS information: Microsoft Windows XP
OS version: 5.10.2600 Service Pack 2
Processor: x86 Family 6 Model 14 Stepping 8
Memory: 3.135.856 kb
BIOS version: 2.09 (79ETC9WW)
Machine type-Model: 1951A47
I have just got a new Sandberg FireWire for Laptop, a PC Card with 3 6-pins connectiont. After inserting the card in the PC Card slot, the Windows Device Manager tells me that there are problems with the card. Looking at the 1394 Card Properties the status says:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10) - Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."
The troubleshooter did not solve my problem. I have tried disconnecting, re-connection, shut down Windows and start again etc.
At Sandberg Help Desk they tell me that I have two slots in my laptop, one with a 16 bits bus and another with a 32 bits slots, and I should use the latter. It seems that I can use the lower slide only in my laptop and I cannot push the card into the upper slide. There is not enough room for it.
Here is what I found on Lenovo's support site on my type & model:
PC Card
Conforms to the PC Card Standard 95
Type II slot
Both the 16-bit Release 2.1 card standard and the 32-bit CardBus card are supported.
Have a look at these screen captures.
What should I do to solve my urgent problem!?

The status right now is:
The PC Card reader works on my T60
If I use a Firewire PC Card it will not start - as described above (on T60)
The PC Card work properly on my T61P - and I succeeded importing a video file from a digital camera using the Fireswire PC Card.
So what does a wise man do in this situation??
Please help me as I urgently need to know how to solve this serious issue!!
Have you got an idea? Can I import the video in another way??

Foreign trade data - Embargo for military materials for certain countries

We make a product that can be used in the military. We do not ship anything to UN Embargo countries, we cannot ship certain materials that are military related to a list of about 20 countries, then all other countries for these military materials require an export license.
I get how to block all UN Embargo countries for all materials and how to determine an export license by export grouping/product classification and destination country but how to I stop a sale to a particular country for a particular export group/product classification or the material group code as was suggested previously??
It looks to me like I could use the Legal control:product classification by destination country with a specific user exit.
Does anyone know if one of the standard user's exits cover this requirement or would I need to have one written?? Has anyone else done this in a different manner??

Hi Debbie,
First of all you need to declare the country as embargo in thry T-CODE -"VE53".
Most of the settings are done in sdforeign trade customs--legal control.
Also check item category for export data in t-code "VI58".
This VI58 would effect on your item category grp in material master and hence should block the material.
Basically make most of the settings in legal control.

Material master for packing materials for based on customers

       can any one tell me how to maintain material master for packing materials based on customers to whom finished goods r supplied.

Option : 1
Create your packing (VERP) material as per the Customer.
E.g.
Packing material   Product   Customer
200000000            ABC         XYZ
200000001            ABC         YZX
200000002            ABC         XZY
200000003            BCD         XYZ
200000004            BCD         YZX
200000005            BCD         XZY
Option : 2
If you are batch managed then and then only this option will work.
Create Characteristic "Customer"
- Assign it a Batch Class (023)
- Assign this batch class to the material
- Now as and when any transaction will be done on this material, you can apply the relevant customer to the batch and separate that particular by customer.
