URGENT------Two Messages Fired Simultaneously get struck in Queue

Hi,
I am using WebLogic 8.1. In my application, I am using Message Driven Bean which listens to a Queue and when a message is found, it calls a web-service client to do further processing. There are two problems I am facing:-
1.) When there is any error from web-service, the message still keeps pending in Queue. If count gets high, the application slows down. Is there any way that if further processing fails, message gets destroyed from queue.
2.) When more than one Messages are fired simultaneously in Queue, they somehow get stuck up and no calls to web-service is made. They remain in pending state in Queue. How to do proper settings so that as many as many as 10 messages are getting handled simultaneously.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.....Can anybody tell me how to cofigure my queue / tune it for better performance.
Thanks

Check the status of your multi-thread. Sometimes it might be because of the multi-thread implementation neither JMS nor the application server.

  • Can u send an URGENT text message on the Droid Charge???

I been trying to figure out how to send an urgent text message. I've had the phone since lst November and seems all I can do is send regualr text messages. How can u send an urgent text message so that it grabs the recipients attention to respond as soon as possible. Like for example, that person ur sending the message to is in a situation where they cant recieve phone calls, so u gotta text them instead and its an urgent matter, so ur wanna to send an urgent text message that grabd their attention immediately.  So does anyone know how u go about sending an urgent text message? Please get back to me. Thanks -Brian

don't know aside from calling someone.  if they are unable to receive phone calls, then they are probably unable to receive texts.  you could sending them an e-mail - perhaps they have a data signal?

  • 3 Messages getting struck in SMQ2 at same time with difference in seconds

    Hi all,
Three  EOIO messages with Queue name QBTJ.......................(same Queue id  for 3days)
that is day1 QBTJ(message (a)  queue id=day2 QBTJ  queue id=day3 QBTJ  queue id
    day1 QBTJ(message (b)  queue id=day2 QBTJ  queue id=day3 QBTJ  queue id
    day1 QBTJ(message (c)  queue id=day2 QBTJ  queue id=day3 QBTJ  queue id
.These are getting struck in smq2 at same times (compared the timings 3 days).the time at which these messages are getting struck are same with the difference in seconds.
Other than these 3 different times ,these messages are moving with out strucking in SMQ2.
    I have two questions here
1)what could be the reason for only these three messages are getting struck in smq2
2)is there any parameter which could be set in SXMB_ABMIN to unlock the queue automatically with out going to smq2 and manually unlocking.
Please do not send nonrelavent blogs
    Thanks,
    Srinivasa

    Hello,
you can schedule the report RSQIWKEX in your XI system. This report does automatically unlock all queues.
See the blog for more details.

  • I get two message threads for one contact. One for sms and one for iMessage since I updated to iOS 7. How can I get them both into one thread?

Ever since I upgraded to iOS7 just two of my contacts I get two message threads for them. One containing their iMessages to me and the other with just regular sms messages. In Contacs, their email and phone number are saved under one name. How can I get the iMessages and sms to come through under one thread in my messaging app again?

I am having this trouble also, my partner creates a new message to send to me, or sends a picture and it always comes through as an MMS and not using iMessage ...
will try deleting everything and starting again!

The list of extensions for InDesign now have a yellow triangle warning symbol in front of a good many of the extensions and when moused over i get one of two messages:
"Extensions may not function properly because it does not meet the dependency condition."
    OR
Extension Status is not consistent with extension set configuration."
The reason I opened the Extension Manager in the first place was to check to see if I had installed a third party extension.  And I was presented with these warning symbols.  I haven't added anything, I haven't done anything that would cause this.
Does anyone know how to fix this???
I am running OSX 10.9.5; Indesign CS6 version 8.0.2 And Adobe Extension Manager version  6.0.8.28.
    Thanks in advance!
    Nina

Many InDesign pre-installed extensions (Those extensions you have immediately after InDesign installation) define dependency rules in their mxi files. Dependency means that one extension works well only if one or more other extensions are installed and enabled. If this condition is not met, the yellow triangle warning will be shown.
You can select an extension with warning, click "Advanced" tag page in the lower right panel. You will see "This extension has dependency on: <extension name> ...". Check whether every extensions listed here are available and enabled. If not, enable them. Repeat these steps for all the extensions which have warning.

  • Message is getting struck in outbound queue

    Hi All,
I am doing a simple FILE to FILE scenario . The message is getting struck in SMQ2 (inbound queue). If i go to inbound  queue and manually UNLOCK the queue entry then only the message is getting delivered . This is a new installation and we are on PI 7.0 .Please let me know if we have to so some configuration .

    Hi !
Check if your queues are registered in the SMQS transaction (for outbound queues) or SMQR (inbound). Go there, then enter the queues you need or reactivate them. They should be activated to process the message automatically whenever they  receive something.
    Try this:

I have photoshop elements 11 installed on my desktop pc, I want to install it on my laptop as well, I read that it can be installed on two systems, but I get a message taht the redemption code has been used by another ID, please help

A redemption code can only be redeemed once.  It is used to acquire a serial number. The serial number is what you need to activate the installed software.  If you did not keep the serial number when you first installed, you might still be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software.

    Hi:
I can't help you with that specific issue, but if you can't get it resolved and you can read the 25 character Microsoft Windows product key on the bottom of your PC, make your own W7 installation media to reinstall W7.
    Here's how:
If you can read the 25 character Microsoft windows 7 product key, you can download plain Windows 7 ISO files to burn to a DVD for the version of windows that came installed on your PC, and that is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC's case.
Burn the ISO using the Burn ISO option on your DVD burning program and burn at the slowest possible speed your program will allow. This will create a bootable DVD.
Or use the Windows 7 USB/DVD installation tool to compile the ISO file you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB method of compilation.
    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool
Use the 25 character product key on the PC to activate the installation.
The key will activate either a 32 or 64 bit installation.
Then go to the PC's support and driver page to install the drivers you need.
Link to the W7 ISO file downloads is below.

  • First two messages retireved by FND_MESSAGE.GET are always empty.

    Hi All,
I'm using the FND_MESSAGE APIs for Error Handling in the following way:
    * Clearing the message stack of all messages by calling FND_MESSAGE.CLEAR
    * Setting up messages by calling FND_MESSAGE.SET_NAME and FND_MESSAGE.SET_TOKEN.
    * Getting all messages in the stack (since last Clear) by calling FND_MESSAGE.GET
Result: The first two times calling FND_MESSAGE.GET, the resulting messages are empty. Only on the third call of FND_MESSAGE.GET I get back the desired message.
Furthermore, the messages are only cleared when calling FND_MESSAGE.GET - but not when calling FND_MESSAGE.CLEAR...

Has any one experienced not being able to send mail and only receiving some? I get the message " can not get mail. No connection to the server! " Yet I get some mail but can not send out any. My iPad is only 1 month old! It worked perfectly for about 10 days.
    Thx

    Hey agnesfromcopenhagen k,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with Mail on your iPad. The following resource provides some troubleshooting steps. What kind of account are you using? Some internet providers require that you be connected to your home Wi-Fi (or for work accounts, inside your corporate Wi-Fi/firewall). Also, some email accounts require two-step authentication. For more information, see this resource:

  • JMS Messages getting stuck in queues

    Hi,
I am facing this peculiar issue with queue messages not getting picked up.
Application Architecture: There is 1 JMS queue ( which resides in WLDomain1 with in a Unix Box) and there are 2 windows boxes having 2 weblogic domains each with 3 instances of MDB deployed on each of the domains. So total of 12 consumers (2 Box * 2 Domain * 3 Instances of MDB) listens to the JMS queue.
Issue: After bringing everything up I am able to see 12 consumer count listening to the queue. But when I run the application which writes total of 13 messages in the queue only 7 of them are getting processed and 6 messages are always getting stuck in the queues. Interestingly this 7 messages are mostly getting processed by consumers with in the same windows box. And the selection of windows box is completely random. To confirm whether both the windows boxes are configured fine I tried to test them individually and it works fine individually, the problem happens only if I bring up both the boxes together.
Another observation is, if I bring down the non working domains, the pending messages start getting processed by the working domains. It gives an impression that the non working domains seem to lock the messages for processing but doesn't actually process it. Only when I bring down the domains it releases this lock.
Below is the JMS Life cycle events I captured from log files :
    1. Start domain1 in WIN Box1

At this point console shows 12 consumers listening the queue which is absolutely fine.
    5. Run application

This produces 13 messages ( I have not pasted the complete log)

and From consumer numbers it is evident that consumers in WIN Box2 domains have not processed any messages
Now if I stop server in WIN Box2 Domain1, WIN Box1 picks up the messages instantely

    Hi,
The problem may be conflicting names in your configuration. To ensure proper operation of WL Security, JMS, JTA, and JDBC, make sure that (A) each domain has a unique name, and (B) no two WebLogic servers have the same name (even if in two different domains).
To ensure a more even distribution of messages, either simply send more than a token amount messages (eg, a hundred or so, rather than just 12), or configure a custom connection factory on the domain that hosts the queue, reduce MessagesMaximum on the connection factory to 1, and then modify each MDB to refer to the custom connection factory. The MessagesMaximum setting controls the number of messages that can be pre-pushed (pipelined) to a single asynchronous consumer.
For more information see "Best Practices for JMS Beginners and Advanced Users" in the latest versions of the JMS admin guide, and "JMS Performance & Tuning Check List" in the WebLogic Performance and Tuning guide.
