URL in Smartforms

HI all,
I've downloaded the output of a smartform in PDF format. In the layout i've inserted URL for a text element.
My requirement is, when user clicks the text, it's to link with one more transaction.
How to do the same?

Whenever you enter a text in the editor, top right side of it you will see a button which allows you to enter the URL.
Assign points if it solves your problem.

-243 characters and its shown not as url
sametimes is revers part of the url or it put # in the begingn and in the end aldow there not spaces
how can i overcomes this problem

As per my understanding of the requirement you want to send a text as url in the smartform..?
if its the requirement then create a text module with the URL in it and use this text module in the smartform ,.

Your requirement can be achived as follows:
Use SFP transaction code for adobe forms.
Design your own form and context as per your requirements.
Now call the appropriate FMs in the print program.

Shrink the size of URL in SMARTFORMS

Hi Friends,
We want to output a URL, which is a bit long (about 100 characters). How do we shrink this and insert in SMARTFORMS.
I know in HTML, we can do like <a Href = "http://www.hotmail.com">Click Here</a>. Only Click Here will be shown and not the URL.
Is there something we can do like this in Smartforms ?

SMARTFORMS printing graphics from URL

I do not find anything yet to print graphics on SMARTFORM using variable name from a url NOT via SE78 Graphics Administration Document Server.
There is solution to load SE78 Document Server via BDC but I am looking for solution where Document Server is not loaded with excessive images AND NOT solution writing over a single image there; I want it actually redirected to another url address.
I do understand that I will maintain a table having the url address AND that I can even display from SMARTFORM; I am asking for solution that actually prints the stored image.

Hi,
I pressed URL link, cursor going to area (where we r giving text or fields).
If I give URL adrees here it is printing the URL adress as TEXT.
Please give clear view where I have to give the URL adress to link Smart Form to WEB.

I know how to use graphics from the SE78 transaction, but not from URL
The smartform is used in an e-mail if it helps.

Contract Alerts Notification Emails

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to alter the system generated content of the alert emails.
We've configured the SRM 5.0 system to produce the desired contract notification alerts using BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK. The alerts contain our custom text plus the standard SAP text.
In the alert body, the system adds a section called 'Possible Subsequent Activities' which is then followed by a URL for the ITS plus BBP_CTR_EXT_WF/!?client=100&sap-client=100&language=EN&sap-language=EN&~DisconnectOnClose=1&CONTRACT_ID=
Has anyone been able to figure out how to either hide that section or blank out the URL?

Looking at your message, I understand that you already know this. But ..pl check again.
In SRM50, BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK works along with SRM alert management functionality for few alerts. You need to configure alert schema/events etc and assign alert schema to your contract transaction type. Worst case scenario, you may want to influence the URL from smartform BBP_OUT_EXCEPTION itself!

How to display URL images and URL link (html) from Smartforms?

Hi Gurus,
I'm having difficulty on how to display targeted URL images and URL link from the smartforms, after i sending it out as html mail. The mail i sent just can be preview as a plain text, which can't execute the html code that i put inside the smartforms itself. I follow a few step from this very useful blog.. 1- put your images in a directory under the web app directory. Example: app/images/
2- in your jsp, use: String file = application.getRealPath("/images/"); to get the images directory. See http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.3/techdocs/api/javax/servlet/ServletContext.html#getRealPath(java.lang.String)

Smartforms - how to use page URL like output option ?

in the smartofms output options, there's the possibility to set
BSP Page/URL: ......
and Output format: XSF output + HTML.
My requisite is to send a form in XML via web service, can I use it ? How is run ?

Use the function module "FB_CONVERT_FORM_TO_XML" to convert the smartform to XML format table.
The function module has been used in the method "GET_SMART_FORM_AS_XML" of the class .

i wanted Generate URL in PDF made with Smartforms, i have done everything necessary with cuastmizing and programing, the PDF ist working good, but afer clicking on the link in my PDF , it doesnt work, and with debbaging , the FM HR_RCF_SF_URL_CALLBACK it was not generated,
